    Thanks for the video mate. I've just spent about 4 hours watching videos of different sights and you clearly showing the features and close up shots of this particular model helped me decide on this as my final choice👍

      Your welcome! I also noticed a lack of information on it, which led to the inspiration to do the video.
      Glad you found it informative. Should I post more videos like this?

      @HangingwithPeacock ... well if you are happy to make such videos, I'm sure people will appreciate them.
      I absolutely love watching a load of different UA-cam videos whenever I'm researching the next thing to buy, so people like me are always thankful to people like you for making down to earth useful videos. Cheers buddy!

    Thanks for the review. In the market for a sight that adjusts without loosening hex bolts and trying to micro-adjust like the bare bones sights

      Nice! I don’t know if you want any tips but my top suggestion is to start close and then also have fun and be safe! Don’t get frustrated. I lost a few arrows when I was trying to get dialed and learn to use. But that’s all part of the game but
      Thanks for watching my video! Hope you have a great night with your new sight!

    I've been shooting a Spot Hogg Grinder sight and this Trophy Ridge Fixed sight got my attention. Still trying to decide whether or not to get it. SH's are more expensive, but I'm wondering it this TR sight is as good.

    How do you adjust second axis? Those screws go all the way through and must line up with holes, so there's no way to adjust it

  • @michaelguerra758
    @michaelguerra758 3 роки тому +1

    Hey just a heads up you might need a new battery for that sight that nob was on in the video so I don't know if you knew about that

  • @JohnSims3
    @JohnSims3 3 роки тому

    Thanks for the video! I just ordered this sight to replace the open pins on my ol' 1980 Martin Cougar Magnum. It's a heavy but accurate and precise bow. Question: Do you think that the shiny clear plastic on the front of the sight will reflect sunlight enough to spook a deer? Maybe dull it with some 0000 steel wool might help (hopefully without reducing light capture on the fibers)? I also ordered a Whisker Biscuit but waiting to install it when I receive the sight. Are you happy with the WB? Never used one but tired of the arrows falling from my old 2 prong rest...

    • @HangingwithPeacock
      @HangingwithPeacock  3 роки тому +1

      I like the WB because it hold my arrow in place while walk-in around and doing whatever it is I’m doing. I don’t think you will have any reflection issues. But if you were worried about it electrical tape works great!

    Nice video. I'm thinking of picking up this sight. However I like my first pin at 10 yards (wild boar this side of the pond are typically arrowed at 8 to 12 yards) and then set the others at 10 yards spacings. You think this sight would be suitable for this?

    • @HangingwithPeacock
      @HangingwithPeacock  3 роки тому +1

      Feral Grandad yes I’m not topped out on my 20 pin so that wouldn’t be a problem at all. Typically in my situation if I shoot the 20 pin and I’m 10 yard from the bag I’m still right on. But that depends on your draw weight and other factors.
      You could definitely have this dialed for a 10 yard shot and have the rest of the pins go in 10 yard increments as well. No problem!
