    Thanks for the video! I just ordered this sight to replace the open pins on my ol' 1980 Martin Cougar Magnum. It's a heavy but accurate and precise bow. Question: Do you think that the shiny clear plastic on the front of the sight will reflect sunlight enough to spook a deer? Maybe dull it with some 0000 steel wool might help (hopefully without reducing light capture on the fibers)? I also ordered a Whisker Biscuit but waiting to install it when I receive the sight. Are you happy with the WB? Never used one but tired of the arrows falling from my old 2 prong rest...

    • @HangingwithPeacock
      @HangingwithPeacock 3 роки тому

      I like the WB because it hold my arrow in place while walk-in around and doing whatever it is I’m doing. I don’t think you will have any reflection issues. But if you were worried about it electrical tape works great!

    Nice video. I'm thinking of picking up this sight. However I like my first pin at 10 yards (wild boar this side of the pond are typically arrowed at 8 to 12 yards) and then set the others at 10 yards spacings. You think this sight would be suitable for this?

    • @HangingwithPeacock
      @HangingwithPeacock 4 роки тому

      Feral Grandad yes I’m not topped out on my 20 pin so that wouldn’t be a problem at all. Typically in my situation if I shoot the 20 pin and I’m 10 yard from the bag I’m still right on. But that depends on your draw weight and other factors. You could definitely have this dialed for a 10 yard shot and have the rest of the pins go in 10 yard increments as well. No problem!
