This car is gorgeous problem is there are so many new gorgeous EV cars coming out of China every day it would be hard to make a decision on what one to buy . China making dream cars the actual regular person can afford

@@faithosadebe5293 The battery is the latest Qilin from CATL ua-cam.com/video/VeMjf6H0Pw4/v-deo.html Inside noise insulation is good, but not as good as my Taycan with optional noise Insolation glass, or the Mercedes EQE, which I test drove. However, it is certainly much much much better than the MS90D T junk, which I finally sold recently. Hope that helps.

Because they all purchase batteries, and the Chinese brands have better access to CATL, which in turn has over 50% world market share with extremely strong research. Hard to beat... The interesting thing is, that T junk is now in the same boat as all other brands, besides BYD. They beg all the suppliers, including BYD for batteries. The difference, their cars are of poor quality and lack lots of features. T junk in my opinion has no future.
You've heard wrong. It's the perfect long distance worrior. I just with the self driving features would work without and warning/notification sounds/noise/etc...
Personally charging a car for 40 minutes is still quite along time i do prefer the NIO swap station where i can have a swap in less then 5 mins and I like the look of NIO's
No! I watched the whole NIO battery swapping thing in person. There is no 5 min, that's marketing blah blah. I observed close to 15 min. The problem is, that in that time, like on a stinking gas station, you have to be present. When I stick my EV in to charge, I lock and walk away to get a bio break. Much more convenient and relaxed. The new batteries like the one in my Zeekr will kill swapping tech. This is totally a dead end! Just came back with my EQA 250+ from a 1200 km round trip. Even with this EV, I only needed one charging stop and that was just enough time to eat something and resupply. Please watch the video to the end. If you catch the high charging rate between 25 and 70%, you only need 22min on a charging station and you can drive 1000 km when you leave with a full battery.

@@Random.Adventures. I don't get my information from anywhere, I watched it live myself on a parking lot nearby. If station is open, in operation, has staff ready for your car, has the doors open, has ready loaded batteries, etc, then maybe less than 10 min. But that's very unlikely. The worst: These station will most likely never be along highways, where you actually need fast recharging, at least I have NEVER EVER seen one. Have you? If I see marking BS, I call it out. On top of that, the battery rental is very expensive over the lifetime of the car and the purchase option makes the car overpriced compare to Zeekr and other brands. The quality is at best VW level, Zeekr is like Volvo, close to BMW. In fact, my Zeekr 001 exceeds in terms of quality and material selection my new EQA 250+
You're you're obsessed with numbers only, after that right of almost 8 hours and about plus 700 km you really don't mind about stopping for about 40 minutes or even 1 hour. That's just ignorance because you actually never had sat in a long range EV...
Yes id you drive 50kmh,but if you drive 150kmh then the range is 700km. Still very impressive. But i guess if you put 140kwh batteri on most cars that are also aerodynamic then they will also drive 700km at 150kmh
@@fatdoi003 I watched the NIO swapping in person. This idea of a 5 min swap is not true. I was more like 15 min. When there is only a single car in front of you, charging is already faster. IMHO swapping has no future. Big tech with lots of maintenance without much benefit.

How much was the price for the zeekr with this 140kwh battery.. Are you residing in China?.. Did the big battery affect the rear seating position likewise cargo space..
Price was around 51k Euro or 56k USD. The big battery is really new hot tech stuff. It does not take more space then the 100kWh battery, nor does it affect the trunk space, which is huge.

plenty of Zeekr 001 in China, and they are very common, Lucid is not affordable in China, and I believe they will lose money if selling at that price range, Tesla model 3 here is around 30k usd

I wanted to buy a Merc EQE with 96 kWh, but the trunk was so small, could not even fit one golf bag. Have they completely lost their mind? I was so shocked over that level of stupidity. I went to BMW, the new i3 sedan, only in China. But battery even smaller, and the trunk also could barley get one golf bag in. Sorry, not impressed. So I stopped looking. Then this baby came... Huge trunk, huge space inside, and a range to die for.
I am chinese. I have been travel almost 40+ countries worldwild. I think we chinese has no problems on human rights. Our gov did great job on every fields of life like education health care and so. Soon batteries will be so big you can drive all day and charge overnight while you sleep. Then battery charging stations will not be needed anymore.

140/8.45= 16.57 kWh/100km => Still too optimistic if you ask me...
19.5 kWh/100 is realistic, if you drive steady at 110-120 km/h We also don't know much the battery is delivering exactly...

Reality around 650-700km because consumption are 20+kwh on 100km on average
Which is still huge. I currently drive a very basic Audi A6. After 450km the tank was empty.

Best EV so far is NEVS EmilyGT, but can you get hold of one? And it will probably be more expensive than the already too expensive Zeekr 001.

No you cannot! There is no way you finish a gas stop filling an empty tank to full in under 5 min including payment.
