This video feels like it was made as a presentation to be given to park board members by the ceo, who knows they are planning to boot him out but is determined to make sure they grasp the breadth and majesty of his intentions before he goes
Like Anthony Bourdain was a writer masquerading as a chef and TV host, ambiguousamphibian is a writer masquerading as a video game savant and shady toad
Now I need to see Gerald Williams crowbarring his way through the rusting, zombified remains of your park, eating worms and probably happier than your patrons forced to pay $30 for your burgers when they were alive.
I love how is this game you have only two options One: this a very well designed ride that everyone loves and garners well earned fame Two: By the gods they won't even be human when they get off.
The fact that the guests would believe you to be a "fraud" if you hadn't placed like a burger stand or something by the time they return to the entrance is really funny.
If that was only for 1 or 2 bathrooms, and there was complimentary service, I could imagine that being a gimmick that could definitely work, but as long as it stays below dollar.
The modding community for this game was absolutely *massive*. I haven't looked into it in well over a decade, but I remember it being vibrant and filled to the brim with things that made the game more enjoyable.
Its honestly one of the sadder things in gaming that a lot of custom scenery was basically lost forever when megaupload died so many years ago. There was just so much heart put into the mods that not many other games have ever come close to matching, and most of it is lost due to dead file transfer sites and dead forum links
I can't remember if it was Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 or not but I remember one of my strategies in one of the various theme park games was to build a coaster that launched my customers out of the park into the next one over to tank said park- thereby boosting my own. Good times.
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your work. Quite a few times your calm voice and demeanor has managed to break me out of severe panic attacks and I just wanted to express my thanks. Thankyou, truly.
“A labyrinth, a never ending jungle of roller coasters that are a sensory explosion to behold, like a page of where’s Waldo” if a park used that as one of their selling slogans I would go there 100%

Funny Story about this game: When I was younger (about 6 or 7 I believe) I wanted a game called Tycoon City New York, but I had no money to buy it. I had the idea to send a handwritten letter to Atari asking them if I could have a copy for free. A few weeks later I get a letter back from Atari. They replied saying that they didn’t have a copy of Tycoon City, but they gave me Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum Edition instead. I still have the disc to this day, and I still cant believe it actually worked.
Your beautiful poetic narration against the utter bullshit chaos scenarios you created keep me coming back and laughing harder than I should. I love your videos man.
Thank you for this video my uncle just passed away and he used to play this game with me when I was younger seeing the roller coasters brought back some memories
I love how this video feels like an inspirational video that a class would watch, showing the class how people can start from nothing and become a world-class theme park
Goddam, this video is such a throwback it gave me nostalgia whiplash, and it was VERY funny. Makes me wish I had my old computer with all my old save files, I remember I had a park that was literally just one long desert road with a McDonalds halfway. What an underrated mint gem.
Fantastic. A ride where the attraction is the theme park itself. A theme park where the theme and attractions are rides. If an attendee is lucky enough, they get to spend the entire day watching others enjoy themselves. What a world.
Pro tip: Most of the peeps are in groups, and all of them only go on one ride with the whole group or just wait for the rest of the group to finish one ride, and this makes it hard to earn cash bc most of their time is spent standing around and doing nothing, so i reccomend downloading a mod that spawns more individual peeps, they don't have to wait for their group, so much more of their time is spent on rides/buying stuff. Hope it helps someone ^^
SO in the future if you do a run like this, i suggest closing the park once every other year this forces all gusts out of your park, and once all guests have left, you open back up, which charges them all the entrance fee again and is a HUGE influx of cash
Giant Slide is an underrated power house! No capacity limit. Charge 3 or 4 bucks a pop. Low nausea, decent excitement! People will ride it over and over. Zero maintenance cost
I remember this game coming out and being so hyped about being able to ride your own rides. never played rct1, I was still on themepark by bulldog (RIP). massive nostalgia hit.
