I’m a mom of 2 and have been working extremely hard on creating products. I have paid for numerous subscriptions and to no avail haven’t been making sales. Hubby thinks it’s time to give up but I want to keep trying. I want to give my kids a great life and I am constantly trying to expand my knowledge and learn more to start getting sales. I've heard about your business strategies for getting excellent returns and productivity. I started working on my storefront with POD about a month ago. At this time I have about 50 items published and am eager to develop my business. I decided to make this leap after moving to a different state, due to my husband's job transfer, and having looked for the same type jobs with no real fulfillment. Previously working in the corporate world, I knew there must be something better. I am customer service driven and have experience in sales. Lost my job , house , car . One good things is I have my kids and my heath . I’m able to drop my kids off at the bus stop and pick up . I don’t want to go back .

This is so unbelievably helpful! Thank you! I recently learned about Inner Circle Prints last week and immediately went to your site to see what the pricing/sign-up is like. I'm currently a SAHM who left the field of Occupational Therapy after 6 months working. I graduated with my Doctorate in 2023 while 6 months pregnant and had every intention of being a working mom. Turns out I didn't want that at all, and now we're trying to make it work with me being home and getting to be the primary caregiver for our son. I wouldn't change that for the world, and at the same time, I still want to bring in some income as we live in CO and it's not cheap. I started Etsy last Spring and finally got to posting POD listings in July. I've got just over 10 sales but no consistent momentum and I know that ICP would change that, and change our lives! I'm looking forward to financial freedom and being able to live the life I want to live while raising my family.
I’m a busy Doctor in training to become a Surgeon, I started POD to both embrace my need for a creative outlet but also to diversify my income. While I do love my day job it comes down to money = time, I want to develop a stream of income that is more passive & over time requires less time to earn money. I absolutely loved this video because I love understanding the business theory behind success. So far I have started my shop in the last 3 months and have started designing and listing products. This was exactly what I needed. I’ve been working on my Etsy POD business for just over a year now and have had some success, hitting 1,000 sales at the end of April and I'm on track for 3,000 this month, but your breakdown on titles and tags really showed me there’s still a lot I can fine-tune. I know how important keywords are, but the way you tied everything together with relevancy and phrase exact keywords just clicked for me. You want to be careful to not mess with the titles, tags or descriptions of items already selling ...it can mess up where you are ranked

So glad I just found this video - immensely helpful! I started my Etsy shop to have an outlet for creativity (I’m a corporate graphic designer by trade) and to create another stream of revenue to pay for my special needs dog’s medical bills and monthly meds. I would love to make this a full time job someday but for now I’m just working on it at night (and really enjoying it - such a rush when you get a sale!) thank you again for this tutorial!

Am I too late to the party? I learned so much watching this video and can’t wait to learn more. So many other people seem to have more inspirational stories than I do. I am just starting out in Etsy and already getting discouraged. I wish I had a friend or colleague who we could discuss these things in person - design ideas, how to make a good listing, how to get started in Amazon - someone who is ahead of me and could guide me through this huge learning curve. I really think I would benefit from being part of the Inner Circle. I want to earn extra money so I can buy a mini rebounder and adopt a child from Africa. It’s super expensive. My husband and I haven’t been able to have children so this would mean a lot. 🙏🏼🍁
thanks for this amazing guide. i've gotten so much out of your videos. i'm a wellbeing and meditation coach. i started my store in January. i have over 600 listings and have put in thousands of hours of work. my initial, "problem," was that i wanted to make things that i love and believe in. i don't regret doing that because integrity is very important to me, but now i have to shift to what works and what will give me a return on all this hard work that i'm doing. i would really like to learn and grow with you at ICP.
This was super helpful. I have heard some of this information from others but it didn't gel until yesterday when I watched your SEO teaching. It made a lot of sense to me and I was able to work on the research all day today. I would also love to part of the Inner Circle. My husband and I worked in the real estate business for the past 30+ years and was planning to continue - however our work went from a good income to zero in the past 2 years. We both love crafting so purchased a laser engraving machine and have some success but not enough to pay the bills. Also, it is super time intensive. I heard about POD in January and have been watching videos and classes since then. I have an Etsy shop opened up and have been focused on Christmas ornaments as these are our most popular item for our Laser Business, so I felt like I had some idea of what customers like. This was by far the best SEO video I’ve ever seen and listen to. My journey began in 2021 trying to do POD I paid for three courses and nothing so I obviously stopped for a while. Started doing digital designs instead on Etsy and been pretty successful with my digital designs, but I do really want to do POD . I didn’t give up on POD, but I did take a break to try and figure out what it was was I was possibly missing or not understanding or possibly doing something wrong and just watching video after video on people who do POD and who have been successful and trying to see how I can incorporate that into opening a new shop where my tags will be good. My SEO will be good. My title will be good, My mock ups will be good so I would love to join your course however money is tight so obviously I cannot afford it right now, but I hope in the near future, I can possibly afford to take your course and really jump in because I do feel like something made me find your video and I do feel like everything happens for a reason so I am looking forward to this journey and just learning as much as I can from you to have my successful POD shop one day.

Been watching you for almost a year now. Great stuff. My story is I’m a retired military member who served in 4 Middle East deployments, while leaving family and small kids. I still work a normal job. I was honored to serve and would do it all over again. However, now I would like to dedicate my time to making sure my kids have a life where they don’t feel like they need to join the the military in order to make a consistent living and have no college debt. I want to set them up for something they can follow and be proud of their personal goals and achievements, and help others along the way, too. ❤

I've been working on my shop for 15 months now and still dont have any momentum going and I'm starting to feel so discouraged but my motivation to succeed is intense.
I listened to your video with Jessie G yesterday and she got my inspiration back up! If I had the opportunity to work with her or you, I'd be so so freaking elated. I have 4 kids aged 10 months to 6 years. My husband leaves for work at 4am and doesn't get home until almost 8pm. I so desperately need this shop to work for us so that I can keep him home with us, keep him present with us. He missed our baby's first steps yesterday and was truly devastated.

Hi Jesse - wow, what a great video! I've been on my POD journey since May 2024, focusing in on shirts and sweatshirts to start. So far, I've made 21 sales. Not horrible, but could be a lot better. I have followed all the gurus I can find and even became a student of a couple of them. I'm determined to make this work. But even through all those hundreds of videos I've watched and the tutoring I've received, this has been by far the most informative and structured content ever. My shops been open over a year and I’ve made sales but it’s all because my loss leaders took off which have minimal profit. I think I struggle a lot with prioritization not knowing what to really do and when to do it. I don’t work a normal job this is it for me. I would love to be part of the inner circle prints. I have been selling on Etsy for 1 year, have 1300 listings and approximately 500 sales. I hold a full time job in data, plus a second job teaching computer skills online and Etsy. I am able to put in about 15-20 hours each work on Etsy shop and would love to get some help taking it to the next level. Your videos are extremely helpful! Love the creativity side of Etsy but also love the research and data that you teach. Am also a mom of 4 kids that luckily are a bit older (high school years) but still busy watching sports. Jesse, this was a great video and I can see how this method would reap great benefits in search. I've watched you and Stephen over the last couple of years and have learned a lot and tried to implement various methods you both share. In 2017, I started with a general store; however, it became apparent to me back then that my customers preferred a specific niche I designed for and have focused on that niche ever since. Since you seem to create products for the most popular niches and products, I've wondered if your methods would work successfully over time for just one niche. Hey Jesse, thanks so much for this video. It has been incredibly insightful! The competition sounds amazing, so a little about my journey! I'm actually coming at POD from the opposite side to most. I have been working and trading in my niche for well over a decade so I know my customer base incredibly well. I sell a luxury handmade product so things have been tough the last year or so. I wanted to branch out into other products and stumbled onto POD! So I've begun building on my established knowledge and customer base creating designs that will resonate with them. I suspect with your help I could grow this branch exponentially faster than I've managed on my own so far :)

Hey Jesse! Been following (and stephen) since he started posting on Hello Custom. I am a stay at home mom of two who started my Etsy store last August after my husband left the military and we faced a huge transition. I found a groove and had a great first q4, but I'm looking to SCALE. To date, I have done a little over 40k in total revenue in one year! I am so proud of that, but I feel like somehow I am still throwing stuff at the wall and not making money, or doing things the way I know the big sellers are! My shop has been open for a year since 2023 and I’ve gotten some sales. I’ve utilized ads and social media. Started in 2023 have 900+ listings sold 824 but still making just seems Pennie’s per hour of investment. Seems like I am so close to making this work. Just trying to figure where I am off track. And now the question: This is gold but, how do you manage to come up on first page of Etsy if you are using high volume - high competition keywords? Taking the example in your course, if i would do an awesome design (which i am quite good at), follow all the steps etc., there will be a lot of other sellers (best sellers) or established brands that will pop right in front of me. How do I get seen without paying for adds which such high competition? I have a few samples where i mixed high volume-high compettition keywords with good volume-low competition keywords. Well guess what, for the first category i am showing up somewhere on 4th page while for the last one on the first page. I am trying to understand how this approach will work for new shop owners.

found this on the etsy handbook ..Don’t repeat tags. The 13 tags you add should all be as unique as possible. For example, having tags such as “octopus art print” and “animal wall decor” will get that listing in front of more potential buyers than “octopus art” and “octopus print.” We’ll share more tips on diversifying your tags below.
Hi Jesse, around 44 minutes and 33 seconds, you talk about how the listing is not ranked for the keywords. I do not understand how you know that and what part of the screen you are looking to determine that. Are you referring to the order in which they appear in the Etsy search bar? Could you please elaborate?

Hi Jesse, thanks for this video! But shouldn’t we check the competition rate? You’ve selected the most competitive keywords. How would that work for newbies?
@@rashelginzburg Great question! When key-wording your product RELEVANCY matters the most. So if you try to branch into keywords that have “low competition” you will likely lower your click through rate and conversion rate along with the amount of search volume you are leveraging. So like I say in this training, once you have solidified there is demand for the product you are creating you should then revert to relevancy with your key-wording process so that your title, tags, and front photo/product are all one in the same. Your long tail keywords will also be lower competition naturally so you get the best of both worlds.
Remember, your business is fueled by PROPERLY leveraging search volume.
