Congrats, love the new canvas with the special touches, and your new bugaboo is stunningly beautiful. We are still looking. Thank You for bringing us all along..
Nice docking boat handling. I applaud you!!! I am not quite as good yet. There is NOTHING as beautiful as the sound of the two 454 ci engines you play so well. I have a similar 2000 SD380, new to me, and I am learning ... and having a blast in the process.
Thank you for that, but as I always say, this boat handles itself 😉 I'm lucky to have had five season's of docking and cruising fun on our prior 330 Sundancer (Sea Ray 330 Sundancer: ua-cam.com/play/PLKhjT5kr2l2H0GeaEMncQiW3yG9N6L6uQ.html) and was extremely happy with how well that boat responded to the helm, as opposed to the big 400 Sedan Bridge we had before that. Cool. If I recall correctly, I picked that shirt up at Target in Sandusky the last time we were down there. Truth be told, I'm wearing it again today so you're probably gonna see it in my Chartplotter replacement video 😉 It's always finding its way to the top of the pile these days 😁

I've watched many of your videos for over a year now and decided today would be the day I comment on one. Congratulations on your boat and I felt the excitement along with you. My dad was in the navy and always enjoyed being on the water. Some day soon, I am looking forward to experience the enjoyment my dad had and your face expressed the same enjoyment my dad expressed. Hope you are able to cruise off into the wild blue yonder for many years to come.

Canvas guy here. Not a bad job. I see some wrinkles in the strataglass. Maybe when the ones that are open are closed it will tighten those areas up a bit and pull the wrinkles out. A quality job won't have wrinkles in the strataglass and it should be at least .40 gauge. Front stbd looks a bit wrinkled too. It changes as it gets older, but should fit better when new. I recommend taking the side curtains out and laying them flat on a bed or something instead of rolling them up as they will get distorted from being rolled up.

$1.46 a litre, Canadian? Would have been very happy with that, as the cheapest we saw in 2022 was $2.20 at Trenton, just before we did our Rideau Canal voyage.
I don't know where you do your boating, but on-water gas prices are ALWAYS at a premium. Average difference from road prices are usually in the neighborhood of 40-50 cents or more than street prices. And that's everywhere, all the time. I've been boating for more than 50 years, so again, I'd love to learn where you saw gas for only $1.46/litre on the water. . .
Here's a video I did a few years ago regarding how much fuel we use. The gas prices are different, but the specs would still be the same. Number one question I get is how much do we spend in gas. Here's the first part of that equation; ua-cam.com/video/pzjhIEVJ5vI/v-deo.html
Great to see her go!! And water so perfect. So wanting that too. We are still on the hunt for our next, bigger boat. But prices are high at the moment and just limmited number of boats that may be interesting. Price wise and size wise and layout wise. Last year we looked at one and it was great but with some issues. so spent two days of checking thr internet and calling companies to know what it would take for the repairs it needed and the moment we called to make an offer we heard it was sold. Bummer. But still have the old one so can still be out on the water for the time being.
Excellent boat control at the gas dock. Not fast, not flashy, slow steady boring, no surprises, perfect.
I go by the old motto of 'Only approach something as fast as you're willing to hit it' 😉

$1.46 a year ago sounds more realistic.
$1.46 a litre, Canadian? Would have been very happy with that, as the cheapest we saw in 2022 was $2.20 at Trenton, just before we did our Rideau Canal voyage.
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo that is crazy, must be due to being on the water or in remote locations.
I don't know where you do your boating, but on-water gas prices are ALWAYS at a premium. Average difference from road prices are usually in the neighborhood of 40-50 cents or more than street prices. And that's everywhere, all the time. I've been boating for more than 50 years, so again, I'd love to learn where you saw gas for only $1.46/litre on the water. . .
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo that I didn’t know. Just getting interested in doing something like this, but good to know. Thanks, great job on the videos.
