These how to DIY videos are great. Seems simple with well explained steps. Keep it going
Your videos have helped me on several occasions, thanks for that. I need to replace the climate control unit on my wife's car as my next project, so I needed to know how the dash bezel is attached - the idea of breaking off the dash panel tabs by pulling on it the wrong way makes me cringe.
I still say if car designers had to actually WORK on the cars, parts would be a lot easier to replace.
Very good instructions, thank you very much.
+Michael Freeman Thanks for checking us out. 1aauto.com
Props to you guys for making this video. Hard enough just to do it, even harder to film someone doing it too.
+AJ Kittle Thank you! We love empowering our customers and showing how to perform DIY auto repairs with our high-quality auto parts. 1AAuto.com
Me gustó tu trabajo compa del cambio de panel de control del Monte
Why would they have it all in the one piece like that. Why can't they have it just like the Cobalt. Buying a 2004 LS tomorrow and I'm NOT looking forward to buying a stereo anymore haha.
morbidcorpse It’s not too bad really. I have a 2000 and I just installed a head unit but yeah it’s a dumb GM design.
Me gusta el trabajo que hiciste compás para uno poderlo hacer
Love 1 aauto
O damn doable but such a pain to just get at the ac/heater unit control wires plus i don't even have those stupid bits :( . A lot of models you just have to unbolt the ac/heat control unit directly same with radio. Curious you know anything about the defroster circuit button seems to be causing heating issues thru the vent system weird condition.
Please post a video on how to r&r front seats of 05 Monte Carlo, I'm having a problem with it.
We'll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future. 1aauto.com
Why is there nothing on the 1999 Monte Carlo or its heater core replacement I have searched everywhere this is the closest video
Why didn't you show how to remove the instrument cluster?
Because this is a video about the dash.
Can you do a video on removing rear interior quarter panel plastics.

Any idea where i can get metal plate thats behind under dash bezel on driver's side. I notices mine is missing since every time i drive on a bumpy road, dashboard shakes
Thanks

Is this the same for the 2007 SS Monte Carlo too?
+Orville Kelley The part in this video fits your application, and the install should be the same or similar. Buy this part on 1AAuto.com: 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
I can't find the dash trim on your website. Do you sell it?
HI Christopher, We currently do not. You may want to check your local salvage yard to see if you can find a decent one there. 1aauto.com 866-403-3393
Hey do you guys know around how is the panel?
Look on ebay bro
+Nelle Santana We currently don't carry the part, but we also recommend searching on eBay!
I'm not getting power to the stereo only the lights are coming on but the stereo will not turn on on my factory or double din radio how can I fix the problem it is not the fuse
+james austin It would be difficult to pin point without looking at the vehicle testing connections for resistance or interference. You may want to have the vehicle looked to at least have a starting point on getting it resolved.
im to lazt to do that myself now ahaha
That’s allot just to install a radio lol
Can you show how to remove the 2006 Monte Carlo model
Thank you for watching. Unfortunately we do not have a video for your application. We will keep this repair in mind for future videos.

I tried this and the bezel disintegrated
Can I just remove the dash panel first without removing all the under panels?
+Ryne Glover Thank you for checking us out. You may need to remove the under panels due to location of clips or hardware. 1aauto.com
Yes you can. just remove the 7mm screws side under steering wheel and glove box..
Was going do it myself f it I’ll have someone else do it 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
