Here are the steps we are taking everyday, including in these videos: 😷Masks and face coverings. We wear these anytime we are near others outside and especially indoors. If we don’t have a mask on in a video, it’s 99% because there was no one around. ⏰ Exploring early. We normally start at sunrise anyway because of less crowds, but especially so with COVID. We have been starting our days before sunlight so we can limit our interactions. 🧼 Washing and sanitizing our hands, especially after touching anything outside of the van. 🚐 Being in the van 95% of the time when we’re not filming. The adventures we share are a small sliver of our lives. We are staying in the van all day everyday when working and the only time we leave is to do laundry, get gas, or go to the store. 6️⃣ Keeping our distance. We are trying to stay at least 6 ft from others, which truthfully isn’t always possible (and then we make sure we cover our face).

Tacos are definitely one of our fave recovery feast foods after a long hard hike. Ya'll just took it to a whole other level! If only I could pack a breakfast taco in my backpack for a sunrise hiking snack...

Little late to the party - squeezed watching the video in on Thursday just before parents evening started and ran out of time to like and comment, so am back now. 🙌 That last taco looked amazing. For me, the sloppier foods are, generally the better they are, so take a taco that's great in its own right, but then having a sauce to dip it in just sounds amazing. We found Texas, New Mexico and Arizona to have some of the best Tex-Mex foods so you're really lucky having all that on your door step! ❤️

We almost didn’t recognize the skyline, it is crazy how fast it’s booming (and also a little sad to see it change)! Cheese brûlée is the perfect way to describe it! 🤤 Loooove is some cheese on tacos, but every taco was sooo amazing! One of our favorite food days ever 🙌🏼
Before I visited Austin 2 years ago I didn't know breakfast tacos was a thing besides from Taco Bell. Torchy's breakfast taco was actually one of my favorite meals

It’s a Cuban family owned bakery & it’s the best!!😋Their original spot is in Burbank but they have other locations in the surrounding area of L.A. Any hoot!! We LOVE Cuban food and bakeries! We really want to visit Southern California again! LA may be a bit tricky in the van, but we may just have to fly out there one day just to stuff our faces for a few days 😂

OMG those Birria tacos looked so amazing that I had to check Yelp to see if I could find them in my county. A few years ago the Latino population became the majority so we have lots of Mexican food choices so I had high hopes of finding some. I did. I found a place with 5⭐reviews for their Quesabirria Taco with Consomé 😁When I get back from our camping trip, I'm going to give them a try. Yumo! Thanks again for sharing.
Saving all of these on my Google Maps even though I live in the UK and I'm vegetarian so probably won't be able to eat at any of these places haha. Hope Covid gives us all a break soon and you can show us a bit more of Texas while you're home!

Tripas is intestine, Buche is pork stomach . A lot of people think tripas is tripe as in cow stomach but it is not, it’s intestines cleaned out, fried, and chopped. Yum!! 😋

Garner in the fall is so beautiful, it books and sells out fast for spring and summer so book in advance. Garner is so much fun.
We love the Pearl! Such a cool area! We will have to see how things are going with COVID and maybe we can visit. Trying to stick to the outdoors as much as possible right now! But Garner sounds fun!
We aren’t sure to be honest. We are trying to stay close to home and away from as many people as possible since the COVID cases are going up a lot here. And since we are living with family, we have to be extra cautious too. So we may be doing more outdoorsy things vs. cities if we do go outside of Austin. We really want to visit San Antonio...we love the food and culture there!
Loved the video. I’m born and raised here in Austin. I’ve only been to Las Trancas, but not a fan. I only look for Al pastor and Bistec tacos. I am actually going to Vaquero Taquero tomorrow and checking out the Al Pastor tacos there. BUT you did not hit up the best Al Pastor tacos. Rositas Al Pastor on Riverside!!!!!! I eat pastor tacos EVERYWHERE. Gordos Tacos in Vegas are good but not as good as Rositas. 7:51 you mention Chiquis Tacos. Where are they at?

It's great that you like mexican food. If someday you visit to San Diego Ca please jump in to Tijuana Mex we do have the BEST tacos all around the world (TRUE).
My favorite breakfast tacos in Austin are at Texas Honey Ham Company off of Bee Caves road. You gotta get the Tacos Ranchero which has the ingredients cooked in a delicious ranchero sauce. Just the right amount of spicy and very delicious.

I am actually going to Vaquero Taquero tomorrow and checking out the Al Pastor tacos there. BUT you did not hit up the best Al Pastor tacos. Rositas Al Pastor on Riverside!!!!!! I eat pastor tacos EVERYWHERE. Gordos Tacos in Vegas are good but not as good as Rositas. 7:51 you mention Chiquis Tacos. Where are they at?

It’s what we miss the most (besides friends and family of course!) when we are away! Such a great food city!
My favorite breakfast tacos in Austin are at Texas Honey Ham Company off of Bee Caves road. You gotta get the Tacos Ranchero which has the ingredients cooked in a delicious ranchero sauce. Just the right amount of spicy and very delicious.
Oooo that sounds SO good! We have heard they have amazing breakfast tacos, but haven’t tried them yet. It’s not too far from where we “live,” so we will have to go check it out! 🙌🏼

Do the tacos really include hormigas or did I miss hear? Many years ago on holiday in Tenerife I found hormigas in my bathroom = ants.
They are migas tacos, and the full name is huevos revueltos con migas! No ants in them thankfully 😅🐜
