    My bread machine doesn’t have yogurt setting, what should I do?

    Here's a super simplification for you.
    The milk you buy in a carton or jug at the grocery store is already Pasteurized right?
    Don't open it, just set it out on the counter till it warms up to room temperature. Then open it and inoculate it with yogurt containing active yogurt cultures. Put the lid back on it, shake it up well. Then pour it in the machine press start. Ooh Wa La 8 hours later ta-da Yogurt!
    So skip the whole heating milk to kill off the bacteria. That's already been done for you when they pasteurized it…

      Wow! That's super fast method! I need to try this out. But I love my yogurt thicker by adding milk powder to it and I don't think it will easily dissolve in room temperature milk, the way it will in hot milk, but I will try and see.
