I'm now 63, and have regained some mobility. Like you I have no idea of my future either. All I know is that walking is a blessing and today is a good day.

I'm 40 now and I've been working 12-16 hour shifts, 80 hours a week for the last 20 years and I'm exhausted. No kids, no debt, and I've taken 1 vacation in those 20 years. I've lived to work all my life and was told that's how you become a man by brainwashed parents and people. I'm 40 starting to feel 50 because of the work environment and I'm wanting a change. Honestly I'm ready to leave it all, sell my home, buy a little motorhome and work 20% of the time and start enjoying life.

I used to be all about the work grind life. Doing 12 hour days 6-7 days a week. Doing 18 hour days sometimes. Last year, I was laid off twice in 3 months. My mental health took a serious decline. It has definetly shifted my mindset. I live for life now and I enjoy the NOW. the time being at home has taught me to enjoy life and cherish the little things. Now, I would definetly sacrifice money and be home for dinner and day of the week.
Had a friend whose co-worker retired after working over 35yrs. On his last day at work, he asked his soon to be retired co-worker; what are you going to do now? The guy told him, I'm going to travel. He said that in that very moment the thought of "now he wants to travel"? That boggled my mind. Tim, you make sense my bruv.
It is difficult to enjoy life now. Everything seems to have changed for the worst, the vibes are all off and I spend most of the time feeling deep despair and loneliness. But I am trying my best to enjoy the little things. Work is not worth the time and stress. Give me time and freedom to take a walk or go for a run, or to cook a nice meal thank you.
I understand your thoughts, three years ago I stopped watching all news. When I was a boy Russia was going to start world war thrrr. In two weeks I’m 70. I suggest you stop listening to the talking heads and relax life can be amazing and the cost is free
Life is walking on a tightrope. One side is that you could be gone tonight or tomorrow. The other is you could live for another 30, 40, 50+ years. You have to balance living a good life and enjoying it in the present with the prospect that you could still be alive late into your senior years. It's a hard choice for everyone because there is no perfect answer. You don't have to be cheap with your money but unless you are wealthy you also can't be reckless with your money only to end up old and broke. We all have to make our own decisions based on our circumstances.
Even more empathy for the people who did spend their whole lives saving and lost 30-40% of their retirement savings to the stock market crash in 2008. Some of them were close to retirement, some had already retired. I can’t imagine all the opportunities they gave up to save. To have it all evaporate so quickly. If there’s something you really want to do and you have the funds, spend it. I’d rather spend it now than lose it later.
Hello :)- Great video Timothy as I have quickly realized as a rideshare driver in Las Vegas for the past 10 years now have come to the realization that people these days especially after the Pandemic have "unrealistic" expectations!!!! We as a society need to worry about the NOW and not about 20 years from NOW!!! Live in the present and don't worry about the next 20 years as most people might not even be around in the next 20 years from NOW!!! Kudos to YOU and to what you bring to this channel!!
It so true, you never know what life can bring you. I was diagnosed with cancer. I was truly blindsided. Thank God i am in remission. I have always been a big saver with a steady job. Although i am thankful for my job and health insurance, i know this job has kept me on the treadmill of work. So now i try to balance life with actually using my PTO and enjoying life. It’s all about balance. I could live to 50 or 105. You have try and enjoy and be prepared!
Empathic folks often struggle get ahead financially because they're too in tune with other people's situations and hardships in life so don't take advantage of others to benefit themselves. It's the selfish sociopaths that get ahead because they couldn't care less about others.
Lost my full time corporate gig 9 yrs ago. I’ve lived more life since then I ever have. Moved to Nashville, released a solo album, got engaged, and now work 6hrs a day helping kids. I don’t have the $ I used to but I’m happier then ever. What a gift that job loss was, I never would have moved forward w my personal growth. Have faith, friends!! This path could be for you.
I love your channel because you have pathed the way not just for me but for everyone watching your channel that it’s essential for us to dance to the “beat of our own drums “! without being persecuted!!! Thank you for being you!!!!!
Agree 👍 The more trust you put in the universe, the better the energy flows and the more synchronistic events happen that takes care of you. Focusing on future financial securities is the old mindset / illusion that sucks away your energy and keeps you from "ever" being free.
I have been travelling Canada for nearly 20 years and live out of a suitcase working in hospitality and tourism. I absolutely resonate with your lifestyle and outlook on life 🤗
Tim, you are always spot on, I share your mindsight precisely... I always hear about these fully employed people our age that are concerned because they only have $900,000 saved and they are frantically working out new investment strategies while working 60hr work weeks, not even looking around to enjoy life, nature or even breathe....lol... I punched out from the hustle mindset and the treadmill, thats what it is, a treadmill, alot of work and going nowhere. Enjoy life NOW, I'm with you Tim, love your channel.
I try to relax, and enjoy my time off as best as I can. I work a 4 day 40 hr work schedule. Screw working 5 days a week for an employer! I DJ 28 events a year on the weekends. My son graduates high school June of 2027. I will reduce the number of events I take on to about 12 per year in 2028. After he graduates, I will chillax more, and work less. I also will have my Toyota Camry paid off in 13 more payments and plan to drive it for many many years to come.
I’m with you on that Tim❤ . We don’t know what the future holds anyway. People who worry now will worry no matter how much money they have in the future ❤
Great video Tim. It's a subject that I've often thought about. I've come to the realisation that there won't be a pension for old people in the UK once I'm of the age. So I shall carry on travelling and teaching in those countries, putting some money away in the event of illness. I won't have any family to look after me once I'm old, so I'll be happy to wither away while I recount the memories I'm creating in my life now. And I'm happy about that 🤗
Thanks for sharing Tim. I apperciate your compassion & empathy for other people's struggles, tapped into the reality of most folks situations. Sending love ❤
Love your words of wisdom, Tim! I'm quitting my job in corporate America to pursue something on my own and at my own pace to live a simpler life. Scary and excited at the same time. I appreciate the inspiration in your messages.❤
I'm a year out of a divorce of 17 years/ 23 year total relationship. 44 and all kids are grown and on their own... I'm starting to want an adventure/journey lifestyle- gonna start out slow in my vehicle with just a weekend at a time, but looking forward to see what I can make of my life. You never know 1 day to the next what's going to happen, start living your life. I've been in Healthcare since I was 16 yrs old, back/spine injury in 2012(3 spinal surgeries) luckily I'm mobile, but realize how quickly a situation can change, like i said before.. live your life now, don't wait because you never know what situation will arise- we are here for a short time
Nobody .. nobody says this incredible message “Enjoy your life to set future” Everyone is saying waste your life pursuing stuff and don’t live and when you are way too old already then figure if you can rest and enjoy: disgraceful Thanks Tim !
I think of the Pareto Principle, 80% (or more) of the results come from 20% (or less) of the effort. That seems to be the balance that the universe subcribes to, so there must be something to that. Thank you Tim!
Your channel helps me so much!! I am a person that has constantly worried about what's going to happen in the future. But thats mostly because of years of struggles, and from childhood trauma of not knowing what was going to happen next. But again your channel is seriously helping me with thinking more positive attitude. Yes definitely going to try something different and start living! So, true about other forces, greater forces that will, God handles most of it and it doesn't matter what we do. That is so true. I got to show up! Thank you so much for your channel .😊
The God taking care it's true, I have experience some incredible events, like being at the end of the rope with rent, and suddenly an influx of cash after submitting a formal complaint to "upstairs", like, -hey I'm helping people can I have a hand please... But sometimes it's difficult to trust, specially when negative things/change are in the horizon... And by falling in fear we make terrible moves trying to prevent or ameliorate such looming things... That's the mistake...
Well said! Your attitude and beliefs make all the difference! And also spending money on what you enjoy and being healthy at the same time, makes a huge healthy impact on your body.
Tim you’re talking about people living in ALIGNMENT with what feels best for them and their lives. That’s a prayer that I have daily is that every opportunity, job, person and connection that I make is always in alignment with my highest good 💫It’s a powerful prayer to trust God to make the best decisions for our lives.
Great words and perspective tim. My grandfather worked 44 years for Bethlehem steel just to die of cancer a few years into retirement. All for what? Sure he supported his family and had a few things through life but never truly did what he wanted . I myself invest alot into 401k and I have some money in crypto and stocks that are short term. I'm all about making that money but I'm all about living life. My wife and I just got married in estes park colorado last year and did a full western trip . Love your life ! It's over fast

Thank you for the video, I agree with you 100% There is too much emphasis on saving for retirement. Don't get me wrong, saving is great, but living in the moment and enjoying life is what life is all about.

We don't know how much time we have to experience and enjoy the gift of life. We should do what feels right for us. We should nurture ourselves and those we love. This system will use us up and throw us away if we allow it to...and yes.. Maybe if we stop spending the majority of our time and energy making companies rich (companies who don't care about us) we can use that time and energy to make a way for us that suits us. Peace is underrated. We should prioritize it today. We may not be here to do so tomorrow 💙
My guy, you are truly a inspiration and uplifter. I am sure you have helped many people with the visions that they need to move forward. My son is just turning 21 and in Colorado right now working in Avon. He is loving it so far. NEWS FLASH. Many people who have worked their entire young years, STILL CANT AFFORD to retire. Look around in the world we are in. Many of us will NOT see SSecurity...TRUST ME

Tim , this was such a great conversation to listen to while cooking my dinner in my apartment in Budapest, Hungary. I left my corporate job at 56 to teach abroad to take a break and simplify my life. I’ve had an amazing experience doing something that some of my friends would be scared to do. You really have to be “okay” to be alone with yourself too! I have balance. Not sure when I will return to the US but, you really break sound barrier from all the social programming we’ve been fed. Carry On! 🤠
Great message and I pray that many people realize that investors tell society that they need at least 500k to a million dollars for retirement 🥸Please note that benefits investors pockets and if it doesn’t take that much now to live, why would anyone believe you can’t enjoy life, if you don’t have what they predict is needed at retirement 🤬Please note trust that God has made a way and always will if you trust him🙌🏿

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! this one hit me hard!!!! I agree with everything you said in this video!! Just because one way of something works for one person does not mean it is going to work for me and it doesn't mean it is wrong! We just need to be like trees and let the universe and nature do her thing and stop worrying so much!!! I have been feeling so stressed out lately about the pressure of my job and people around telling me how to live my life and I just want everyone to be quiet and let me do me! I agree that once we start doing things that feel aligned with what our hearts want then things start flowing blissfully and aligning magically! loved this video so much and it gave me the motivation I needed to pursue what feels right for me!!! Congratulations! Keep living your life my friend!
Awesome.
@@BryanKale777 how did you do it , and how you advice me to scape from nonsense and bills
@@darrel1954Yup. Throw away the tv, avoid all corporate news. And now the US is trying to start ww3. What a silly world.
@@bigchief2331 the problem is when you have arta shit to pay 😢😢
Life is walking on a tightrope. One side is that you could be gone tonight or tomorrow. The other is you could live for another 30, 40, 50+ years. You have to balance living a good life and enjoying it in the present with the prospect that you could still be alive late into your senior years. It's a hard choice for everyone because there is no perfect answer. You don't have to be cheap with your money but unless you are wealthy you also can't be reckless with your money only to end up old and broke. We all have to make our own decisions based on our circumstances.
“Can we have some empathy out here, folks?” Wow!!! At 7:35…
Even more empathy for the people who did spend their whole lives saving and lost 30-40% of their retirement savings to the stock market crash in 2008.
Amen. It's crazy how the steady job paradox works.
Peace Love And Blessings To You From A Breast Cancer Survivor 🙏💐
Wishing you a speedy recovery and a healthy future ❤
Be anxious about nothing, pray about everything. Tfs and be well!
GOOD SEE YOU TIM, YOU HELPED ME ALOT OVER THE YEARS..ALSO IM OVER 2 YEARS SOBER! ENJOYING LIFE 🎉 WOW..THANKS TIM.
Empathic folks often struggle get ahead financially because they're too in tune with other people's situations and hardships in life so don't take advantage of others to benefit themselves. It's the selfish sociopaths that get ahead because they couldn't care less about others.
You are spot on with this!!
Story of my life 😭
Lost my full time corporate gig 9 yrs ago.
Agree 👍
The more trust you put in the universe, the better the energy flows and the more synchronistic events happen that takes care of you.
@@ski8799 been working like a donkey in this country for 8 years and only got saved 30k
This sucks
I don’t understand people that say I’ll travel when I retire 😢 do it now while you can.
I agree with you 100%. I'm living my life on my terms now.
@@djrickyb I think you are relating way too much in the complete uncertain future my friend

You are the UNCLE / Big Brother I never had! Thanks for creating a safe space for like minded people.
this man drops much needed life advice and cracks jokes in between 2:51 , love this man
I’m with you on that Tim❤ . We don’t know what the future holds anyway. People who worry now will worry no matter how much money they have in the future ❤
You are so right about worrying.
Make your goals small, men who move mountain start with carring away small stones
Thanks!
Thank you for the support!
Morning Tim! So good to see you
Love your words of wisdom, Tim! I'm quitting my job in corporate America to pursue something on my own and at my own pace to live a simpler life. Scary and excited at the same time. I appreciate the inspiration in your messages.❤
Go for it.
Good luck with your new adventures!

4:20 That part right there. I need to know that God got my back and I will be good.
Some ppl think I don’t care or dgaf, some ppl think I’m nuts. I just have faith in my creator.
I've been in Healthcare since I was 16 yrs old, back/spine injury in 2012(3 spinal surgeries) luckily I'm mobile, but realize how quickly a situation can change, like i said before.. live your life now, don't wait because you never know what situation will arise- we are here for a short time
Nobody .. nobody says this incredible message
“Enjoy your life to set future”
Everyone is saying waste your life pursuing stuff and don’t live and when you are way too old already then figure if you can rest and enjoy: disgraceful
Thanks Tim !
It really is a disgrace, and yeah , like Frank Sinatra said,,, AND DO IT MY WAY... My stereo is blasting it right now ,with some good red wine honey.
I think of the Pareto Principle, 80% (or more) of the results come from 20% (or less) of the effort. That seems to be the balance that the universe subcribes to, so there must be something to that. Thank you Tim!
Living a healthy lifestyle in the present is the best investment.
I always find your videos at the right time Tim !
Just got a transfer to Colorado with less hours but just enough to comfortably support myself.
Excited.
I think you’re going to love Colorado!
You make more sense than most people I know.
I’m humbled. Thank you
I’ve been watching you for a few years and you’re always on point but THIS!? You knocked it out of the park!!!
Thank you Tim.
Thank you!
I have been watching you throughout the years and as usual, your content is outstanding!
Thank you!
Lol😂, yeah too much month at the end of the money. Blessings Tim, looking lovely as always.
This video is what i needed 2 months ago, thank you for the message Tim! You’re a life savor
Estes Park is a beautiful place for a wedding!
I loved the “nobody in nature cares about the future” line :-)
That was great
Truth
The more we go back to nature the more we think like nature. Less stress. More happiness and purpose.
(But, I think one of the squirrels behind you said “invest in the AI sector!”)
Haha
😂😂 I’m definitely going to look into AI investments soon!

This is one of THE BEST videos I’ve watched as of late. 😮💨 So grateful for you.
Thank you! Glad you got something from it!
Thank you for the video, I agree with you 100% There is too much emphasis on saving for retirement. Don't get me wrong, saving is great, but living in the moment and enjoying life is what life is all about.
Keep posting man. These videos are the manifestation
I love the way you worded that topic. It gave me a feeling of peace. ❤❤❤
Great video Tim it's so true..Life is about finding balance..I'm not there yet ,but the start of the journey is to recognize what balance is and yo figure out what your personal balance % is...Great stuff thanks bro Tim!!

Hi Timothy i been following you for sometime now and i just wanted to say thank you for being the genuine person you are, your a really awsome soul and the world is a much better place with you in it. just knowing souls like you exist gives me hope when im in uncertain dark times in my life where the road ahead for me is unclear and all i got is my faith in all the uncertainties ahead of me in this life. im sending you good energy and love my universal friend and may god the universe 🌌 bless you ✨🙏✨ in every way possible thank you brother.
Gotta love when Tim drops a video. Sending love from Spain 🙌
I think about and save for the future, but I also enjoy NOW. Frankly, the past is gone, and the future is not certain. All we have is NOW.
Tim. Thank you again for another inspirational video. Keep up the good work as always 🎉
Timothy, I Love this video. Stressing about the future will delete you Today. 🙏

Great video, Tim. I think your 75-25 lifestyle is great. Hopefully this video will satisfy your critics. I think you explained it extremely well. Job well done.
Wow. It’s been a while since I’ve seen you… glad to hear a great message again. Thankyou.❤
Carry On! 🤠
I just wanna say thanks for the advice Tim. Keep up the good work!
I totally agree! Makes a lot of sense. Find the balance save some money etc and live now. Life is now 🎉
Great message and I pray that many people realize that investors tell society that they need at least 500k to a million dollars for retirement 🥸Please note that benefits investors pockets and if it doesn’t take that much now to live, why would anyone believe you can’t enjoy life, if you don’t have what they predict is needed at retirement 🤬Please note trust that God has made a way and always will if you trust him🙌🏿
Man I love your channel
Thank you!
Hi from the Philippines! Its good to hear your topics as no one talks about that kinds of stuff here. Me and my wife are childfree enjoying watching your videos, while all of our friends are busy reproducing considering minimum wage here is $11 per day. I really thank God for social media as we can watch like-minded individuals.
Wow 11 per day and we complain in the US that it’s 16 per hour.
Thank you Tim!!!!!
My pleasure Kaila! Glad you enjoyed the video!
