      I'd go there in a heartbeat... tomorrow even... But I'm not the youthful help they need out there. I'm 51. 😢
      Although I do work with my husband who is a carpenter... So I'm definitely not afraid of the work. I quit my career desk job 20 years ago to get back to my construction and farming roots... I can't stand being sedentary.

      Hey Peter. I’m watching this from Mississippi. I thought I am fit to be there. That’s the kind of life I want and like. Yes, avocado is more important than tv. I had avocado this morning for breakfast and I can have avocado for years. I can live with it without rice. I am originally from the Philippines and I kind of grew the way Dano and Robin are living now. I grew with all what they have in their land now. Coconut trees, bananas, coffee trees, corn, avocado, mangoes, bananas, jackfruit, soursop, all kinds of tropical fruits and vegetables. We raised livestocks too! Please please! I want to be there I can take my husband with me if not I’ll go myself and find a Hawaiian husband there. I’m serious! I can’t live here anymore I been a victim of racial profiling and this has been going on for 3 years now. It’s eating me alive and I can’t go on like this anymore.

      Each age needs a new kind of spirituality because each is different from any other; hence messengers go on coming. A messenger is nothing but a man who translates the eternal truth for contemporary man. Abraham is one of those great messengers of God. It is good to be associated with Abraham, but remember now that Abraham also needs a new birth.

      I left the city and suburbs of beautiful sunny Florida to move to a mountain and grow my own food with Zero TV in 2007. At that time, there was no internet worth trying to use. I've never regretted it. Since I came the world has fallen apart. Living this way, you see any of that. I go back to visit family and can't wait to get the hell out of there. Honestly, It's become overcrowded and everyday more agriculture land is becoming suburbs. Plus, you can't grow the wide variety of food that you can in NE AL. I know I'm not crazy for living this rural life because other people who see where and how I live want to move here too. Lol

    Thank you for covering actual Homesteaders with a real long track record of actually walking-the-walk. Ive been watching homesteading content creators come and go on Ytube for over a decade. They are usually young, and inexperienced, presenting themselves as teachers, and in a few years their homesteading "teaching" channels go poof, and they disappear back into normie land. These guys really have what it takes for us to learn from, including true grit and wisdom from experience.

    Here's the thing. Humanity loves technology, yet humanity loves and longs for this kind of life. If we could all just get back to real-life living along with using technology to have a balance between the two instead of letting one or the other take over, that would truly be a life worth living. Our existence today is just so incredibly out of touch its actually terrifying.

Then, I traded it for the United States and have been chasing the dream ever since. That’s beautiful! My family and I live on a big ranch in Texas and when I leave the small town we live by it’s a relief to get home. Our garden, cows, deer, rabbits,pigs,birds,and the water that flows through the woods give us peace. Going to town and especially a big city like San Antonio gives me stress like a lot of stress. I relate to that style of living. I love being a part of nature daily.

    I grew up in southern rural Ohio. I'm 39. I'm not off grid. I totally can relate with these folks. I hunt and fish, I forage. I garden, I compost and build living soil. I'm not strict though. The majority of protein in my diet comes from rabbits and deer. I still buy beef burger and I still buy veggies. My favorite thing to do is garden. To me it's all about the soil. Soil is literally the basis of life and health. I believe God gave us all the plants and he is pleased when we build sustainable soils. The lessons learned are priceless. I grew up without a leash I was in the woods as much as I could as a kid and I continued as an adult. I've recently encouraged my fiance to garden with me. She is a life long urban dweller. We are polar opposites in May ways. Just seeing her begonia blooms got her hooked. It's spiritual on a whole other level. When your garden does well the feeling cannot be described. It is certainly a religious experience. I too agree much with their religion.

But it seems like she had a wonderful man step in who was willing and happy to raise her and be a great dad. This seems like a dream childhood to grow up in nature like this. Also for Robin, it seems like she found her soul mate. Somehow who wanted to live the same life as she did, and they’ve clearly had a very long lasting marriage. @@JMcKee253 good luck to you and your family. We all have to do what we do. Kids seem to love the day to day work. I wish I'd started out with young ones. City grandkids love the novelty but they want their stims and we have to give them back.

    So many people bringing up Titus. Titus and these folks would NOT see eye to eye. I am sure they would all be respectful, polite and even loving but man, it would be one intense conversation!

    • @scarybarry224
      @scarybarry224 14 днів тому +1

      Actually I think Titus and these folks would find a lot of commonality and have no issue with their belief in God, they believe in his profit and I would bet Titus believes in other profits as long as those beliefs are not taken into extremism which is typically the case.

      It's not something that needs to happen. Each have their own ideals as they should. I find Titus over the top and a bit extremist, my personal opinion. These people are truly inspirational.

      @Joytous exactly the same here. I have no issue or problem with Christianity, but Titus acts in an extremely self-aggrandising way. This couple are the real deal, incredible intelligence and wisdom

      How do you know what a conversation between these people and Titus would be like? We fool ourselves into believing we truly know people on the Internet. We don't.
