    You got great germination. I sowed some pelleted camelot foxgloves and I have 4 seedlings that I transplanted this morning. It looks like one of my foxgloves from last year reseeded 2 plants. I can't wait for them to bloom.

    Good luck to everyone! TFS, I'm using your method with my Camelot mix!! 100 seeds, starting a flower farm 2022 season!! So exciting.....

      Oh yay! Best of luck. I was cleaning out my little plant room and I found another package of seeds!!! Great for both of us.

    I use a heavy paper/cardboard file folder to spread small seed’s. Just put them in the fodder crease and tap the folder to move them individually to the edge to place them on the soil.

    Lol you make it look hard. I just throw the seed on the ground and they grow like weeds.

      If you want flowers the first year you have to start indoors in the winter

    I planted some Foxglove Camelot mix - Garden Answer video inspired me too.... they are really small & hopefully they increase in size soon-- I am using older Gardener Supply self watering trays that are made out of styrofoam but they seem to be working well. One video I saw was that fungus gnats sometimes come from seedling mix and that you should put boiling water over it & let it cool off & that helps. I put a thin layer of vermiculite over mine. Regarding lights - it depends if you have florescent which I am using or LED. I have mine at 2" as I heard that is what it should be.
    Well post another video of your seedlings. I got all mine up too. Good luck!

      How did your foxglove do? Mine have germinated very well but they’re sooo tiny. I don’t know if it’s normal

    I've decided to make my own seed starting mix to prevent gnats ect. Only 3 ingredients and ecos dish liquid! Many other people use it

    I made labels with bleach bottles, cutting them out, just perfectly upcycling them.

    Try using a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in 10 ounces of water. I hear that's supposed to be good for fungus gnats.

      I am using that mix on potted plants. I wasn't sure if the peroxide would inhibit seed germination. Have you tried this on seeds?

    • @bellarosa009
      @bellarosa009 2 роки тому +1

      @@JelleyBean005 Yes, I did and it does work. I was able to get my lisianthus to germinate in around 7-10 days.

    I bought mine(Excelsior) from our local Menards I knew nothing about them, and I didn't know they could kill you if consumed. They should really put that on the packaging

    Your video is unnecessarily too long.
