That's so nice of you to help your neighbor out. Since you're using a "Y" splitter at the faucet, it might be a good idea to install a pressure regulator. If she uses the non-drip side of the faucet hose at full power and forgets to turn the water down she could blow some of the imitters off the tube. Don't ask me how I know. 🙄
Oh dear is it better to connect unit directly to faucet and rather get unit with splitter from there? I’m learning via the video & comments. Going to try to do my own drip
You just changed my life! I assumed it was difficult and expensive to put in a self watering system and you just blew that crazy belief out of the water! Why don't we all have these systems in our gardens? I'm going to do this! Thank you Robbie!
this is such a great video. you explained and showed everything so well. I plan on adding drip this fall when our temps are finally below 100's (texas here!) love your videos btw.
Thanks for the video. You're such a blessing to your neighbor. I appreciate you showing us simple way to do this cause I've been nervous about the whole process and been hand watering my backyard garden beds which is exhausting in this Florida heat. There are far too many in ground sprinkler heads in front yard for all that grass but none in the backyard which is ridiculous since its three times the size. The previous owners did this just takes time to correct. Thanks again will try this now for sure.
You are the first one I’ve watched that has made it look easy. I’ve seen like five different attachments at the faucet before in other videos. I’m gonna try it your way. Thank you. I’ll let ya know if it works out.
I’m so excited, I’m gonna be hooking up drip and putting in a strip of plants bushes and flowers in spring this was perfect timing for me to learn 😊😊😊😊
Thank you so very much. I, too, thought it would be more complicated. I would love to have you as my neighbor, even if you did not help me in my garden.
I really appreciate this video! I've added some large mixed beds to my backyard and expanded some others this summer It's been so hot here in Florida!. Ive been watering every day by hand with a long hose. I've kept the hose in a huge pile in and around my patio. Well, the inevitable happened last week. Yep! I tripped and fell square on my knees and hands. Talk about pain!! Still very bruised and scrapped up. At 70, I can't afford to have that happen again. I literally laid on the patio and yelled for help, but no one heard me.😢 I'm so glad I saw how easy drip was. I have been so intimidated because I have seen Laura's (Garden Answers) "tool kit" with all the drip parts and pieces 😮 . I can do this !
I've been wanting to do this for years. I knew in my heart it really should be a simple DIY, but my head kept trying to convince me it would be too difficult. Once again (today) as spring 2024 is in full swing, I went looking for tutorials and inspiration. I found it! Robbie, thank you so much for showing how simple this can be. I have 3 hose bibs around my house and I can set up all of them to reach all my foundation plantings. This is gonna make my life so much easier and my plants so much more beautiful! Note: I know you're in a much warmer climate, but is there any info on how to winterize this? If it were all drip tubing, I would just disconnect the timer, and not worry about the tubing. But since this is all solid tubing, wouldn't you have to blow out the lines?
Love their crape myrtle collection makes me want more haha and this is exactly what I need to do for my backyard orchard, watering is taking way too much of my time
Very informative. I have found I need to use clamp rings on the tubing when connected to the couplers, otherwise, they blow. Also, they do make end plugs. The zip ties eventually decay and break.
You are so nice. I have a tall slope needing that all over for huge plants. I have to use the sprinkler every so often to get water up there and I am too old for this anymore. I wish you were my neighbor.
I really appreciate you showing how to get set up for irrigation I watch garden shows, and they show connecting the admitters but never show what you connect to the facet. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this! I've been thinking about creating a drip system in my backyard. You were very through without being redundant. I've been adding tons of flower beds to my backyard this summer and have been watering them all by hand. I'm ready for a drip line! I have been living in southern California for the last 20 + years and forgot how the summers here are much more brutal and the water chore requirements are amplified up here. I'm living in a small town just south of you on I-5!
Thank you for this video! My goodness it’s not half as scary as one thinks. This spring I’m going to attempt to do this myself in my front garden have 3 new beds and hand watering with hose not fun!
Good morning Robbie, I hope you are feeling better! Do you have a video about seed starting indoors? I live in Houston, zone 9 and I’d love to start some perennial and maybe annuals seeds indoors to plant out this fall. Thanks!
There will be enough water pressure for the end of the line to get enough drip to it? When you say 3 gallons per hour of drip, but it’s set for 15 minutes, then they’re getting 1/4 of that 3 gallons per watering cycle, correct? You’ve explained it very simply, so thank you. And the front yard will get enough water also running off the same line?
You are a role model for "Love thy neighbor." {Especially in 106 degrees temperature!}

I've watched alot of drip videos and this one is the easiest to understand, thanks
You just changed my life! I assumed it was difficult and expensive to put in a self watering system and you just blew that crazy belief out of the water! Why don't we all have these systems in our gardens? I'm going to do this! Thank you Robbie!
This is super helpful!!!!! I'm getting tired of watering 3.5 hrs daily. You just made my day. I didn't realize this was so easy!
That's so nice of you. I wish you were my neighbor. 😊❤
Such a great neighbor! She is lucky…
Drip is a game changer!!! I have a long row of hydrangeas the drip has saved me so much time and water.
What a nice neighbor! 😊
You explained the process so well. I’m not intimidated to try putting in a drip system. Thank you.
I need a Robbie in my life

What a great, kind neighbor you are. Love your videos
Now that was shown so well to understand, thanks Robbie.
Thanks for showing step by step how you installed the drip system! I so need to do this in my flower beds.
this is such a great video. you explained and showed everything so well. I plan on adding drip this fall when our temps are finally below 100's (texas here!) love your videos btw.
How did you know that I needed to do this and felt overwhelmed :). Doing my potted plants in this Texas heat.
Great explanation..I actually think I can do it now!😃
I totally need to do this. Thank you ❤
Thank you for a great video on sprinkles. I love your honesty
You are so thoughtful to install the drip irrigation for you neighbor. It was an interesting process. Thanks for filming it.

I find drip intimidating ! Good job breaking it down Robbie. I would love to have you as a Neighboor. 🌸🌸
Saving this for early fall, I'll be tacking his when hubby go's out golfing...shh don't tell him! 🤣
Youre such a great neighbor ❤️
Very informative. Good tutorial for a how-to project. I liked it very much.

Nice of you to help out your neighbor.
You are so sweet to help your neighbor. I wish I was there to help. We need to be neighbors. 😂 I love your channel!
You’re so kind, Robbie! Thanks for the video!
Very informative and easy to understand the way u explained the drip system insulation, I won’t be afraid to tackle it myself now ❤
You are the first one I’ve watched that has made it look easy. I’ve seen like five different attachments at the faucet before in other videos. I’m gonna try it your way. Thank you. I’ll let ya know if it works out.
I've watched many of your videos, you have alot of garden knowledge, a real diy'er can do your own projects, easier for a man to do this than a woman
Yep, I want Robbie as my neighbor! ❤
I’m so excited, I’m gonna be hooking up drip and putting in a strip of plants bushes and flowers in spring this was perfect timing for me to learn 😊😊😊😊
Thanks for this video. You made it look easier than any video I’ve seen. Appreciate y’all!

Great video...very helpful.I was going to pay a landscaping company to install, but now I think I can do it myself.Thank you!
You are so sweet to do that! You made it look so easy. I've been over thinking it 😂
What a good friend you are ❤
you're such a great neighbor!!
You are such a good person!

I would love to see someone doing drip irrigation from a waterbutt or Ibc.

Your friend Janey needs help with her irrigation. Great video
I wish you were my neighbor!❤❤❤❤
Thank you Robbie. Now can you come and do mine? 🌺💚🙃
Phone Janey asap to explain Behyve (?) drip irrigation 😊😊😊😊😊😊
I was going to type the same thing!!!! Great minds:)
What is that fitting called that comes right out of the timer? I have a hard time with dripping with other types of screw-in fittings?
Did you not need a back flow thingee?
She needs a drip pan or extender hose attached to those down spouts! Gotta keep water away from the house!
