    Whats that 1st hose you touched called? To change it i would have to take off the bumper? Thanks for the response

    • @Fixnit14
      @Fixnit14  4 роки тому

      The first hose I touch is called the upper radiator hose. You shouldn't have to remove the bumper to get too it.

    I just had the same issue... but I wasn’t able to get the part on the same day so i used 3/4 hose to replace it... should i get the right part and replace it?

    • @Fixnit14

      I'd replace it with the OEM recommended part, but that's just me. If your fix is working though, go with with it. What did you use to replace the joint?

    Help2011 Cruze 1.4 coolant leak from big hose on drive side by the radiator

  • @dancurrier6421
    @dancurrier6421 3 роки тому

    why are you putting water in the coolant reservoir not GM dex coolant which is red in the first place. Now you got to do it all over again

    • @Fixnit14
      @Fixnit14  3 роки тому

      Water isnt going to hurt the system. It is recommended that you use distilled water. But the hose water was only temporary, so I could check for leaks.

      I've got the parts listed in the video description with links. Heater hose, thermostat, and thermostat housing.
      The thermostat housing recently started leaking on this one too so might be a video of that coming soon.
