In the game, Ekko's taunt line at Jinx is "I had a crush, until you started talking to the gun." Seeing them together in this video, and knowing he had a crush on her adds meaning to the bridge scene at the end of episode 7 when he's brutally punching her, but stops when he sees the look in her eyes.
@@thosesiblingss Just to addd to the sadness: many ppl have pointed out that Jinx ALWAYS launch or attaces her grenades when she fights, but after being beaten down by Ekko right after seeing Vi "choose" Caytlin, and acting out the same game they did as kids, what does she do instead? She looks at Ekko, once her close friend, no more anger or fear in her face, just sorrow, slowly unpins a grenade still in her hand and lets it roll right beside her while being pinned to the ground. She likely didn't want to survive at that moment
Also, Ekko was the first champion in the same game "Legends of Runeterra" to address Jinx by her birthname "Powder", unfortunately she just went "Boo!" and laughed maniacally and Ekko sighed "Man, I miss you so much."
We saw Ekko and Jinx riding on that big wheel vehicle while Ekko flips "the finger" at the enforcers. In the show, the first time we meet Ekko at Benzo's, Ekko goes outside to talk to Clagger and the big wheel is leaning up against the wall.
love that you guys immediately feel how terrible this feels. It's so heartbreaking after having seen the show. The relationship between powder and ekko, vi as the leader teaching them even deckard (the blonde guy) and his bullies who attack and betray them in the show. seeing them as friends. It just on the same incredible level of craftmanship as Arcane is. There are even a few cuts where they swap between powder and jinx like at 2:25 I think it also shows much more of powders mental health issues and trauma even before all of it started, but also vi's deep anger, the world and the enforcers that got them in this place but kinda everything and it's contrast to her love for powder
The moment it started we already had chills. Actually noticed the blond one! Don't remember if I mentioned it while watching though 🤔 so sad... It's definitely at the level of the show, the details of the cuts, all the amazing ways they showed how Powder experienced the world inside and out. And also Vi's anger hits hard. We are so focused on Jinx's problems that we don't realize how is Vi, and the deepness of her emotions even before it all happens.
According to Vi when she was talking to Caitlyn in the Firelights` lair, Powder was about 7 when their parents died at the beginning of the series which presumably meant Vi would have been about 10-12 when Vander first adopted the sisters.
They tell you "you're the greatest" but once you turn, they hate us In the scene we see the enforces walking from Powder, but the lyrics tell me that's how VI always used to encourage and cheer up Power, then Jinx is all about feeling betrayed/rejected by everybody "Everybody wants to be my enemy" Good reaction as always, it had all the checkmarks the song provokes: a bittersweet feeling from the beginning, a little creeped out by the firelight that comes from Powder's mouth, sad a how VI and Powder pillowfight turns, amazed at JID's delivery and finally sorrow Hoping to see more LoL content in the future!
Another great Arcane Reaction, sibs. Another insight into the backstory in the video is how the lyrics are synergizing with what's being depicted: Particularly, the portentous intercut scenes of Vi pillow play fighting Powder/Vi admonishingly real fighting Powder after theirs and the others' accosting by the Enforcers, consequent of this: the scene sequence indicates that as the Enforcers did what is likely a routine display of authority in the Lanes, the more streetwise kids affected submission/indifference as they passed, but they noticed the "Not looking out for Herself" Powder's smoldering defiance and her subsequent blatant miming shooting them in their backs. And subsequently, Jinx's aegis stance behind Powder in the menacing mob of Enforcers conveying lesson learned, having become her own Vi and now "Looking out for Herself."
One little detail is that when the enforcers are beating someone in the alley, with Powder looking in, it's Milo. I can see him resenting her for having seen that, and that might've fed into his negativity around her.
I was hoping for this one! As a small bonus, there allready is a very short teaser out for season 2 :) This video clip also shows the close relationship Powder had with Ekko, which makes the end on episode 7 hit even harder... Talking about music, please listen to "Guns for hire" from Woodkid and "What could have been" from Sting (ft. Ray Chen). They aren't much to react to, but two incredible songs that embody 2 amazing but sad moments in the show.
Powder was 9-11 in Act I,Vi was 15-17,Ekko was also 9-11,Mylo and Claggor were 16-19 when they died(The same age as Powder/Jinx in Acts II and III). Mia Sinclair Jenness who voiced her was also the same age at the time and was 15 when the show premiered.(Now, she`s 19 and finishing high school).
When Vi was showing the others how to fight you can see Decard and his gang with them, also the ride Ekko and Powder rode wile messing with the cops was in episode one outside Benzos shop and was what Ekko leaned on when the enforcers came to the undercity in that episode, also Imagine Dragons had been fans of League before and made a song called Warriors for something in the game or fandom

I think you got the wrong impression by thinking that Powder and Jinx are different personalities. The Jinx name and identity is just a name that Powder doesn't want to be weak anymore and doesn't want to be crushed. Powder and Jinx are the same person, Gray eyes and innocent looks are shown to us, the audience, just to represent Powder's movements. Episode 6, and especially episode 9, shows and tells us that Jinx has changed. Violet is stuck in the past, unable to accept the fact that her sister Powder may have changed. All that tea party preparation in episode nine was prepared for Violet to accept Powder as it is. And of course there's the fact that Jinx is testing Violet to see if she can still love Powder the way she is. I think what you said about Silco is wrong. He tries to distract Powder from her trauma because he knows her. On the contrary, Violet is the one who activates Powder's monsters and it keeps on going. If you pay attention to what I wrote the next time you watch it, I believe you will understand that it is true. I think you've been watching the show again. (I saw it in a comment, I could be wrong) I translated the comment I wrote with the help of some converter applications. I've corrected the typos as much as I can, but it may still be found, excuse me'
I think, perhaps, whether Vi and Powder are two personalities, or two aspects of the same person, or two modes of behaviour, is irrelevant. To be fair, Vi really hasn't had much time to get to understand how Powder/Jinx has changed. Their conversation since Vi was freed has been very brief, and in extremely stressful life or death moments. Silco does what he thinks is right. he definitely loves Jinx as a daughter - but turning her against Vi at every opportunity clearly isn't good for Powder/Jinx, overall he's a toxic influence because he's a ruthless, deceitful, manipulative (psychopath?). Vi activates her monsters accidentally. Vi's primary drive for the entire season has been to care for her sister, and it's the first thing she tries to do once she's freed. Given a calm situation to do so, Powder/Jinx could probably have had her mental state somewhat healed, over years of nurturing - but that wouldn't have made much of a heart wrenching plot.
@@Addam_ I agree, she's changed again - I think she's likely to be less haunted now. Perhaps her not being in the same level of mental anguish will quell Vi's protective instinct. Silco doesn't necessarily lie about Vi, but he does poison her mind against Vi at critical moments - he's manipulative - predicting unknown futures where he says Vi will abandon her again, and won't accept her. He presses exactly the right buttons. I don't think a redemption arc is on the cards either. Given how good the writing has been, I expect whatever happens will defy our expectations, but in a good way.
Silco doesn't know powder anymore than vi knows jinx tbh. He never cared or allowed himself to get to know powder because she represented a part of jinx that symbolized weakness and pain for her so he Instead spent all his time trying to convince her to kill those aspects of her. Which is not in anyway a healthy coping mechanism. Vi of course was in jail and has only known "jinx" for like 24 hours. Arguably the only person alive who truly knows jinx now, is ekko as he was the only person to have been there for her entire evolution. He's also the only person to never once during this entire show, even during their fights, trigger the trauma voices in her head. Something both silco and vi have caused. In fact him initiating their game, temporarily calmed her down from the murderous rage she was in just a few seconds before that. Despite everything between them he's the only person that doesn't really represent pain and trauma to her. When the animation director was talking about this mv in a interview he said their primary reason for making it was to showcase powder and "her little hero" ekko and that, that in particular would have an impact on the story going forward. S2 will likely lean into their relationship heavily, probably including that deleted flashback we didn't get for ep7.
@@NRG-REC Great observation! "The boy savior" has another potential meaning! I felt Jinx pulled her shots against Ekko in that fight. At one point, she needed to move her gun a few degrees yet Ekko manages to swing a club to her from all the way behind him.
@@Hohum37 I've always been a bit on the fence about that one in particular because we clearly see her shocked by the last move he made before he actually hit her. Despite it being in slow mo for us, she really only had like a split second to react, and again, she was shocked momentarily. There's also the fact that she immediately tried to shoot him again after he knocked her down but he knocked the gun out of her hands so I don't think she was holding back the final shot deliberately. I recognize that's open to different interpretations tho. What's not open to interpretation is that she ABSOLUTELY could've slammed that bomb on his chest at the end but chose not to. She 100% held back then but I think that's because she saw him do so. She saw him stop himself and look at her, really look at her, like his old best friend, probably for the first time in years and it took all the fight right out of her. That's why she smiled sadly, showed him the bomb and gave him more than enough time to move.
I have a question about uploading this video..I keep receiving a copy right claim but it allows me to keep the video up. Arw you guys currently facing the same issue and if not what means did you use to get around it? Also love yalls content and enjoying watching yall grow 🙏🏿
Yea, we got the video de-monetized as well, but we didn't get a warning or a strike about the video as a whole, so we preferred to upload it fully and not get money for it, for the crowds and for the publicity 😉😁
@@thosesiblingss you guys are awesome for this explanation 🙏🏿😭 wishing you all the success in the world I hope you reach every goal you have made for your channel thank you.
Glad you made this reaction to this music video. It's Heart breaking to a point i wouldn't have imagined. I saw it After episode 3 and it made me sad but it didn't make as much sense as After episode 7 or After the end of Season 1. There are so many details in it. First of all you don't see Vander because i think the action takes place at the last drop After episode 3... We then see Powder's memories with Vi and the others (even Deckard is here watching Vi exercising fight)... Then you Can find all places shown in this MV in the episodes. The fish restaurant, the streets... Will you remember? Even the couch on which Ekko and PowPow are jumping... The wheel vehicule stands in front of Benzo's shop in the first episode. About the awkward scene where Powder opens her mouth with the bug... It seems Ekko found the tree place and showed her... And did you see the subliminal picture where she has eyes wide open? There is another one when she shoots at the enforcers with her hand. We see Jinx here. Then there is JID's part and we see dissociated parts figured by different colors and the one with the scratches ( the more damaged part). There is a short picture where we see Powder and Jinx on the shark rocket weapon.... and if you ever watch again Arcane you'll be able to find a thousand details all along the 9 episodes that are absolutely amazing. It's almost neverending findings.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Yeah we noticed the Jinx image that flashed for a second there. Really a masterpiece of a music video, (not surprising considering ARCANE 😅🔥)
An appropriate reaction to this MV, how refreshing! Most reactors reacted to it without knowing Arcane, and I've always found it kinda silly. I mean, you CAN enjoy the show because it's gorgeous and the song is great, but not fully, CERTAINLY NOT fully. Because it's not supposed to be just "awesome", it's awesome PLUS haunting. Like the series. But no, Powder isn't the enemy. :)
If you want more then we would also love to watch your reactions to Arcane S2 short teaser(voices only), Warriors cinematic, Worlds Opening Ceremony 2021, Get Jinxed MV, and maybe Arcane Champions voicelines ingame(LoL & Legends of Runeterra (depends if you want spoilers for Viktor) Recommend watching from SkinSpotlights channel, they have everything👍 And if you're interested enough maybe you can start exploring more of Runeterra, the world beyond Arcane:)
Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays version of Enemy. They are a theatrical acapella group. They are amazing. Also their version of Warriors from Imagine Dragons. You will be pleasantly surprised.
❤️❤️❤️✌️ you guys are so cool. Who could have thought watching a cartoon can give us such emotional reaction right ?!? 😳 Arcane teams have done such a great job telling stories and I specially love the imagery and the use of symbolism. Such a masterpiece. My next recommendation to watch will be slightly different than the others stated here already. Please check out wearemako talks about how he wrote the last song in ep.9 it is a long 30 mins video that he got into some technical details but give you an idea how much love & care they put in making the show, especially Ron mentioned that violin background 🙏🙏😇
I have always suggested that everyone watch this video just after episode 6 it would have been more effective because they never should Ekko and Jinx together in the actual show. If you haven't heard already the She-Hulk trailer is out maybe, you two can do a reaction.
Watching it before ep.7 is OK, though I think it's much more impactful to do after the show. It still gives a new perspective on their fight, but also Jinx's descent into madness is more evident and tragic (also her shimmer eyes, the firelight crawling out of her mouth, etc. make more sense).
@@turquoise839 I think before because it help to build more weight and emotional bond between Ekko and Jinx which was not shown in the show but we knew because she called him little man. You didn't see these two characters close enough to touch each other like they did in the music video seeing is better than telling and I wish we knew what happened with they relationship after Silco to Powder in because we witness the after effects of a betrayal between these two characters.
Loved your Arcane reaction and there is more Arcane related content. league of legends opening ceremony 2021 (it's awesome, promo for arcane) Get jinxed music video 2013 (they started to work arcane after this video) Warriors Would like to see more LOL reaction content. This universe is big more than u thought. There are too much good stories and characters.
You two are so sweet :) U might also like "Get Jinxed" (Introduction Video from 8 years ago, when Jinx joined the scene), Arcane season 2 teaser and "Jinx vs Harley Quinn Death Battle" as well, which also gives a very small hint for possible upcoming plot. enjoy :)
@@thosesiblingss Im looking forward to your next reactions. Also, if you desire more Lore from this world, there is a bunch of shortfilms (3-6 minutes each), which all show some short stories from all the different places in that world. Its called Tales of Runeterra, some of those stories are tragic, others are funny and all are painting a little picture of where the next season of Arcane and other projects of Riotgames and Fortiche might be heading to.
No need to apologize 🤗 She definitely is!(although i find it kind of funny that you with so many other commentators, seem to address the comments specifically to me, since we both read them😅)
Seeing the quick jumps between Powder at different ages in this video always makes me tear up like Ayala. It's sad to see how playful she was and knowing how tormented she later becomes.
@@thosesiblingss sounds like you have a classic case of post-Arcane depression. Somehow I like the hurt and seek it out, watching all the reactions on UA-cam. You two have been my favorite. Thank you.
You think this is sad? Watch “the curse of the sad mummy”. It’s a music video for a league champion, but not from piltover. It’s honestly one of the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. The song was written and performed by Christian Linke, the guy who wrote all the music for arcane.

What is Vi going to do in the future? Her sisters welfare is still likely to be high on her list - it has been almost all her life - (it's a defining trait, like her rash decision making and tendency to try and resolve problems with her fists). Powder killed their found family, yet Vi still loves her, even after years in prison. Powder didn't kill Caitlyn, and Vi likely still blames herself (and Silco) for how Jinx is now. My only doubt on this is that on the bridge in ep7, Vi left with (injured) Caitlyn, leaving Ekko to face Jinx - she didn't try and talk with Jinx, and "abandoned" her to her fate. To be fair, Jinx had just shot at her, and it's difficult to negotiate with bullets.
It is really interesting how Vi will handle this... I think it is a first for her, not havig her fists as a solution, and with a real and personal problem 💔
People had told you to react to Get Jinx so I'm gonna add a few more recommendations: Tales of Runeterra - Piltover and Zaun / "True Genius", "You Really Got Me" Wild Rift Launch Trailer, Warriors 2020 , Target Practice / Caitlyn and Jayce Wild Rift Trailer, Ekko: Seconds. For a few laughs and so you know other versions of Jinx: Welcome Aboard - Odisey Animated Trailer (This is a skinline kinda based on Guardians of the Galaxy) and Burning Bright - Star Guardian Music Video (this is like a Majou Shoujo/Sailor Moon inspired skinline) Another Version of Ekko: True Damage - Giants (Hip-hop band/music video)
@@thosesiblingss Alas, she was a gentle soul, but her path was carved in pain. Now she has lost herself, but something tells me, we will see little Powder again, maybe in one of Ekko's time travels
Reacting to a song/video & annoyingly trying to overanalyze every minute semantic(to try to look smart) are not the same thing. I wish these reactors would learn the difference. Nobody can even enjoy the video for all the unnecessary talking. It's a reaction video, not an analysis of every little detail.

Thanks so much 🥰
To you as well 😁!!
You guys should also check out the voiceplay acapella version of this song!
That sound awesome 😃!
We'll check it out!
If you want more then we would also love to watch your reactions to Arcane S2 short teaser(voices only), Warriors cinematic, Worlds Opening Ceremony 2021, Get Jinxed MV, and maybe Arcane Champions voicelines ingame(LoL & Legends of Runeterra (depends if you want spoilers for Viktor) Recommend watching from SkinSpotlights channel, they have everything👍
And if you're interested enough maybe you can start exploring more of Runeterra, the world beyond Arcane:)
Pre-emptive like.
❤️
One person called this show like "admire a very good painting, do it with human blood". Not in good way.
Let the fall to the Leauge of Legends hole begin
💔😭
React to Get Jinxed music video too plzz
Later this week👍
Keep an eye out 😉
Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays version of Enemy.

Episode 6 Jinx said to Vi
Jinx:stop calling me that is jinx now powder fell down the well
I think thats scene in music video is legit
We all are waiting for season 2 ♥️
Indeed 😊
Loved your Arcane reaction and there is more Arcane related content.
league of legends opening ceremony 2021 (it's awesome, promo for arcane)
Get jinxed music video 2013 (they started to work arcane after this video)
Warriors
Would like to see more LOL reaction content. This universe is big more than u thought. There are too much good stories and characters.
You two are so sweet :) U might also like "Get Jinxed" (Introduction Video from 8 years ago, when Jinx joined the scene), Arcane season 2 teaser and "Jinx vs Harley Quinn Death Battle" as well, which also gives a very small hint for possible upcoming plot. enjoy :)
Thanks 😊
A reaction to Get Jinxed is coming later this week🥰
Totally will check the other things you mentioned 🤟🏼
@@thosesiblingss Im looking forward to your next reactions. Also, if you desire more Lore from this world, there is a bunch of shortfilms (3-6 minutes each), which all show some short stories from all the different places in that world. Its called Tales of Runeterra, some of those stories are tragic, others are funny and all are painting a little picture of where the next season of Arcane and other projects of Riotgames and Fortiche might be heading to.
love your reactions you're sister is beautiful sorry had to say
No need to apologize 🤗
She definitely is!(although i find it kind of funny that you with so many other commentators, seem to address the comments specifically to me, since we both read them😅)
Are u cryin 😂
Amazing reaction
Thanks 😊 ❤️
Yes! Actually didn't notice the one when the firelight appeared 😳 terrifying. And genius.
I'm sorry, but is that bunny!wwx in your background??
YES 😍😍😍
You guys should react to in Invincible on prime it's such a good tv/comic series
If you would like to react to an artist you might not have heard of, I recommend Aesthetic Perfection with Bark at the Moon
Watch Get Jinx if you want to see what jinx in the future or season 2 🥰
O que o Revolta ta fazendo aqui?
"Embrasse ta folie, car parfois elle est ta seule amie ." Auteur inconnu
Oh wow. That hits strong. 💔
I think she identified.
Seeing the quick jumps between Powder at different ages in this video always makes me tear up like Ayala. It's sad to see how playful she was and knowing how tormented she later becomes.
Really trying to stop thinking about it in my free time so I could stop crying 😭
Hurts me so much 💔
@@thosesiblingss sounds like you have a classic case of post-Arcane depression. Somehow I like the hurt and seek it out, watching all the reactions on UA-cam. You two have been my favorite. Thank you.
You should try to react to league of legends' cinematic/music video called "warriors" its awesome.
it would be interesting to see your reaction to the opening ceremony of the 2021 league of legends world championship
You think this is sad? Watch “the curse of the sad mummy”. It’s a music video for a league champion, but not from piltover. It’s honestly one of the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. The song was written and performed by Christian Linke, the guy who wrote all the music for arcane.
Is there a reason that you left j.i.d 's verse out of the video???????!!!!!!!
Ummm, i do believe its there😅
@@thosesiblingss uhmmmm ... I do believe that I'm an idiot..... sorry for speaking and not looking.... you guy's rock..... thank you for keeping me honest.. I'm an idiot.... sorry!!!!
All good👍😅
No worries ☺️
@@thosesiblingss thank you... from... THE IDIOT 🙏
You should post a spoiler alert before anyone watches this
What is Vi going to do in the future?
I think it is a first for her, not havig her fists as a solution, and with a real and personal problem 💔
can u please react to "get jinx"
Will be uploaded later this week 😍
Keep an eye out for it😁🙏
People had told you to react to Get Jinx so I'm gonna add a few more recommendations: Tales of Runeterra - Piltover and Zaun / "True Genius", "You Really Got Me" Wild Rift Launch Trailer, Warriors 2020 , Target Practice / Caitlyn and Jayce Wild Rift Trailer, Ekko: Seconds.
For a few laughs and so you know other versions of Jinx: Welcome Aboard - Odisey Animated Trailer (This is a skinline kinda based on Guardians of the Galaxy) and Burning Bright - Star Guardian Music Video (this is like a Majou Shoujo/Sailor Moon inspired skinline)
Another Version of Ekko: True Damage - Giants (Hip-hop band/music video)
React to Moon Knight!
God, Powder is freaking adorable. SHE SHOULD BE PROTECTED
Too late 😭😭
@@thosesiblingss Alas, she was a gentle soul, but her path was carved in pain. Now she has lost herself, but something tells me, we will see little Powder again, maybe in one of Ekko's time travels
React Get Jinx
Keep an eye out for it, it will be uploaded later this week 😍
Warrios react pfff
Reacting to a song/video & annoyingly trying to overanalyze every minute
semantic(to try to look smart) are not the same thing. I wish these reactors would learn the difference. Nobody can even enjoy the video for all the unnecessary talking.
It's a reaction video, not an analysis of every little detail.
