- This is the Best Premium tank for Beginners in my opinion. This tank taught me how to play this game! If you're a beginner, don't worry if you fail to do anything useful for several matches, YOU will get BETTER!

Additional info about the tank: When I was a beginner, it took me about 50-60 matches (4 hours) to learn all the weak spots and start farming.
So if it's difficult at first, don't worry it will get better ;)

@@matteskruger239 This was my second premium tank and my 4th most played one. My first premium tank was T-34-57 which was a mistake for a beginner. There will be massive WarThunder discounts at the end of this month/start of the next one, so if you want to get it, I suggest you wait a little.

I think everyone remember his first premium tank. Mine was the panzer IV Befehls one. I got 75% and after realising how fast u can grind with a premium I bought more. Also thanks to the is7 event where I sold my coupon and craft a new one by buying parts multiple times. I made ton of gaijin coins and bought a lot of premium stuff
did you atleast keep a is-7 coupon for yourself cause the is-7 is pretty good

A premium is a premium ! Of course. But the panzer 4 premium is sooo bad ! That turret traverse is so infernal, while the pen and the armor are the same of a normal panzer 4. I would rather buy the captured t34 or the churchill instead

Interesting, I never thought about it but I guess this Sherman is pretty solid for a starter tank. I personally feel like the best starter tank will change depending what someone would want, for someone like me I’d recommend the M64 or the black cat cause it incentives you to learn the maps to rely on speed instead of armour which will help you quickly learn. But I guess someone who just wants to get the feel of the game this or the bef jag panther is great to get into the swing of things.
I bought it and I love it. And it also looks very cool.
U forgot to mention it´s basically anti-air. That .50cal on roof in soviet loadout is insane.

My first premium was kv 122 at 5.3 and also this sherman . I'm still new to the game and only reached is-3 and t44 100. But anyway those 2 tanks alone man i grind everything so fast . I really love them
A really nice review, good job. I'd expect something like this from a channel with like 4-5 digit sub count, very impressive.
Personally, I would have this tank by now if russia had any other interesting-ish tanks around this br. Decent reload, actual gun depression and the stabilizer alone are enough to make it way more appealing than most russian tanks.

To me 5.3 is not really for new players. It is where it starts to be quite competitive (around 4.0, 4.3 and 4.7). But russia at that br still need no brain to win, so op. But to me m4a2 for urss is not so great ! I would advise, for real low br starters, the american canadian m4a5 at 3.7, the french m24 at 3.7, the french b1 ter at 2.7 or in some extent the german t34 at 4.3, the kv1c at 5.0 for germany, british 4.7 firefly is better than the soviet sherman to me. Or the combo panzer 4g + sherman at 3.7 for italy for good start grind
Since everyone is talking about their first premiums I think I should share mine. My first premium was the American T-14 and I had so much fun with it. Now this was back when it was at 4.3 and pretty much a monster in the downtiers. I grinded rank 3 and 4 an I even still use it today.
The panthers and Tiger 2s have beautifully stable cannons below 30kph meaning if the player is decent they can almost play like a sherman jumbo

I really like this, everything is great. Only one little critique, the jadgtiger and other German tanks are pronounced as a y not a j. Like if you were gonna say jadgpanther you'd say yag panther. Other than that it's amazing

For me it was the IS-6, sure you might encounter missile thrower but you can easily kill them if you see them first. Good armor good gun good mobility. Even if full uptiered you still can kill your enemy in one shot. Yes it has bad depression and reload but i usually just play my phone while waiting for reload heuhue. I usually got around 60+k SL in one rb match with premium account. My personal SL printer
My first premium is kv1c but its cuz its more my style to tank shots and dish out pain

This was my first ever premium I bought, I loved it to bits and was surprised at how much sl I was making. Also I didn't have a fucking clue how to use Sherman's because I hadn't unlocked them in the us tec tree yet
the only thing i have against the sherman premium is that there is like 20 in line shermans
I rember my first premium tank was tiger2 sla 16 i dont regret it its very good and beacuse of br changes its even better its best premium for germany alongside jagdpanther

It’s not a premium but do you have the t114 it’s the best light tank premium for 7.0 and higher since it helps the grind from 4-6 .. the best rank 3 premium for me is the Cobra king m4a3e2

I recommend 5.7 USA to grind SL (M4A3E2, M4A2/3 (76W), M18 and any P47) I used to make 15-20k SL guaranteed per game with no premium in RB
i use x2 m18 + p47 and make 10-60k sl with premium

Yes Angling your tank works I used an L3 which my friend playing in fucking 6.3 just for the fun of it and I fucking deflected a shot
better buy t14 because it has alot armor so it is more forgiving but gun is bad so you still need to aim for a weak spots

how you change the range without looking up
I set it in a way to control it with mouse scroll like so
Controls > Ground vehicles > Sight distance control
You press on it "Sight distance control" then press "Edit"
Increase value: Mouse Wheel down
Decrease value: Mouse Wheel Up
Reset axis value: MMB (Just press the mouse scroll)

Good for air but not for CAS ground. And as a rank II, not a great grinder. In my opinion the xp-50 is better
Best investment is T34 at 4.3 for Germany in my opinion.
No real good lineup at 4.3 for germany :( no big changes compared to 3.7 ! Only SPGs at 4.3... but if you buy premiums as the good german t34, churchill and brummbär + he219 ... pretty good 4.3 lineup but not the best lineup in game :/

I like the video but the only think I don't like is that he encourages barrel shooting and that is by far the most dirty way to get kills, don't do that you will receive heavy flak for that if your new.
But it is the best way to kill an enemy or even better if they are multiple and do not know where to aim
I have 4000 golden eagles, and my Russian tech tree is at 5.3.
I don’t wanna buy premium account, because I don’t play a lot of games per day.
Should I buy this premium tank? And until what br/rank can I grind with this premium while staying at br 5.3?
To give you a little idea of my level in the game, I’m level 38, my highest br is 7.7 France without premium and 9.0 with my amx-30 super.
I’m mainly an arcade player, but I wanna play realistic if I buy this premium. I’ve played 10~ realistic ground games at br 5.3 with USA yersteday, and almost always was in the top 5 of the team even though I never play realistic.

I would suggest you play RB in lower tear first as timings are different and it takes a bit of experience to get used to. Also depends what you want to do, if you want to get better and improve, then choose M4A2, if you want pure fun, with no headaches, then german KW 1C will do the thing.

@@GladiatorWT kw1c is great but there is no 5.0 real lineup for germany. But i completely agree on the fact to start at low br in realistic. Learning maps, learning how to hear engine sounds and detect enemies and how to aim without the arcade help.
It will be maybe underrated but as a low tier premium tank i wpuld advise the m4a5 at 3.7 usa ! You can grind till rank 3 with ease and even rank 4. Extremely competitive

Not great aa before but still good. But not the best for new players cause there is no real 5.0 germany lineup
@@Vins9393 most of them don't even have lineups to begin with tho so it doesn't really mater and at that they all just buy the top tier premiums which is extremely annoying.
