Played WOT first. Then i found war thunder because of Pewdiepie in 2018 - Arwoo
I knew of War Thunder ever since maybe 2014 or something because of the ads i always saw on google
But i never played it until 2017 because my dumbass thought the ads were a 1 to 1 representation of the gameplay.
I deadass thought war thunder played like those shitty mobile games you see everywhere. If they had better ads, i might have been at top tier today 😭

I played WoT since I was 4 on my dad's account and I made my own account when I was 6. I found about War Thunder when I was around 9 - 10 because my dad played it but he didn't know how the tech trees worked. Now i'm 12 and playing WT 3 hours a day grinding the german plane tech trees without any premiums.
I have mostly been a war thunder player because I liked the more realistic feel of not having health, but wot still looks quite fun with these clips of you just driving around having fun! -Puffypenguin37
Trust me, you won't have fun. War Gaming is 3 times as greedy and their decisions are 3x as worse.
There are tons of other things that bothered me about the game, but those are subjective

To join the others on this topic. I've played both games each for a few years, and i can confidently say that i found my home within WT. WoT has just simply been decliining over the past few years, so i'm happy to have crossed over to the WT community. To be fair though, both sides have their downsides.

Actually there’s a better way to do tip 6 and 7 and that is by using the in-game menu system or binding a key to “select machine gun” that way your gun will lock in place but ur mg will move. Just be sure to switch back to main gun or else ur just gonna be firing that mg.

As someone with way too many hours put into this game I can say that I wish a video like this was available 6 years ago, you have some great tips for both beginners and experts alike. Keep up your positivity and I'm showing this to a few friends who need it, and to any beginners reading this comment don't be discouraged by people in the game chat, everyone was a beginner at some point if it gets annoying you can turn the game chat off until you're more comfortable in the game.

i tought something was wrong at 5:03, the f5 has engines that don’t heat up too much so i was confused why the missile ignored flares but then i looked closely and i saw that it was an aim7 not an ir missile but i know it was just to show that u need to drop afterburner and all that.
Here's a tip. Don't be scummy. It's just a game, so you don't need to kill yourself to take someone's kill from them.

I’ve been playing WoT Blitz for 2 or 3, and invested some money in it, but when the oportunity to play war thunder came to me in 2021, I switched immediatly to War Thunder and since then i mostly play War Thunder, I still play WoT Blitz some times just to remeber those times, I wish that your channel grow more so the new players can learn better how to play this game and have a good time playing.

I started War Thunder because my friend started playing, at first I didn't want to play, 'cause I lacked the interest in tanks.
I have now been playing for over 2 years and I've had tons of fun and I have progressed to Germany 8.3 (which I play the most) and some other countries to rank 3 - Kauratyyny
I've been playing pretty steadily for awhile, and there were still a few tips I didn't know about.
It was also a bit funny that a War Thunder video was sponsored by World of Tanks, especially as someone who went full time War Thunder after 11 years of playing World of Tanks.

Warthunder was my substitute for world of tanks back in 2016 but now it has became my main.

My father was a wot player back when it was in beta. When i was young my dad would make me play wot and he also made my older brother play it. I didnt have much. All i remember is that i loved anti tank tanks and playing altillery. I think the best tank that i had was like VI or something like that. Nowdays my brother plays wot from time to time and i play wt. Both are extremely good games. Wot definetly had some funny tanks and so does wt. I just like the less arcadic feel in wt. I made my dad try wt but all he did was he bought premium, played a few matches and gave up cause he couldnt see the tanks(mainly cause they were covered in bushes.)

14:01 The tip is only true when your tank is not autoloading. An autoloader is able to load while the crew extinguishing fires. Ironically, showing the footage of an autoloader tank the AGS which no need to wait for loading to extinguish a fire xd.

As someone who struggled with bombing stuff accurately (missing most of my targets very badly), and firing with the gunner on bombers your tip is gonna help me improve my skillset. Man I love Warthunder much more than World of Tanks, which is weird considering I preferred WOT years ago. It was a fun game, now it wasn't what it used to be - Knight#3

I started playing wt for the sole purpose of flying some of my favorite planes (the harriers) and now that im working on ground it was really useful to see some of these tips -Marquiees
Some of these tops are helpful for more experienced war thunder player as well.
I played WOT before finding WarThunder and I wish I found WT first, I probably would have the Panther II, Tiger 105, and Coalian as well as other rare vehicles. Instead I grinded to tier X with no premium, getting the strv 103c in WOT. That was the worst.. (ZGMerz)

I use to play WOT when I was younger then found war thunder and have played it ever since, I actually got my first jet plane yesterday!

I got introduced to War Thunder a while ago, I swapped thru a lot of the nations until I stuck with Italy, I got to the Breda and the Re2005 and I got bored so I tried WoT, WoTB and WoWS, got to about halfway thru each and came back to war thunder because of planes, I'm now at the R3T106 and the F104G and I regretti - Laconianarms
So yeah, i started in wot, but then join the war thunder ground forces beta in 2015, still playing to this day - Gablor (the one without numbers)

Tip 16 is only wrong by saying "Don't buy this skin" They only mean Fictional skin. Historical and Semi-Historical Skin which can be visible even "Except Fictional" option. If you want to buy a skin, look at the tag first. P.S. For someone that listened this video as tips podcast.

I’ve played war thunder for 1700 hours in too addicted to the game and I’m still pretty bad at tanks so these tips will be helpful
I have only won a few eagles from a chest (100) and would really love to get theese eagles and i play a lot so i would use them and use them wisely.
That bombing tip is a good guesstimating tactic, well, for realistic players at least, arcade is the goat!
