- 8 hours in an Aston Martin during a HURRICANE! Since having my Aston Martin Vantage I haven't made that many videos with it for one reason or another. But now I'm hoping to film as many videos as possible with it, I have to wonder, is this the perfect car? Having my first long journey in an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, I have to wonder, should I have gotten this earlier? I loved owning the Porsche Cayman GTS and an Aston Martin V12 Vantage announced, and having seen the launch of the new Manual Porsche GT4 and Porsche GT4 RS... I was wondering... have I made a huge mistake? but all is explained in this video...

Why not get a set of winter wheels & tires for it, just for that extra piece of mind for the cold months? The tires on that from the factory are super sticky performance tires that really turn into hockey pucks at temperatures below 7°C. We've been doing it for years here in Canada & it just plain works! Cost is high upfront, but you end up getting longer life out of your summer tires as they sit all winter.

Mate. We have a Kia Sportage that a dealership gave us till our car turned up….we went to Banff Scotland in it which is exactly 400 miles from us …it averaged 31.4. Took a tank and a half. Don’t get why? So for you to get that, it’s mega. 👌🏼👌🏼
Sports cars should have decent gas mileage since there's usually less restrictions on the engine. Free flowing air and exhaust. Just as long as you keep your foot out of it 😎🤙
If I'm getting that kind of milage out of a car of like that I would be ecstatic.

What did Aston do about the squeaky brakes? I've had my 19' Vantage for about 2 weeks now, the brakes are rather squeaky
I was wondering the same thing. I purchased a ‘19 Vantage in September 2021 and the dealership plans on replacing the brake pads. They said the new pads are different and don’t squeal as much as the 2019 pads. Unfortunately, the rear pads are on back order still (I’ve been waiting 2 months). Hopefully that does it.
@@pc2556 talk to Richard on the red pants UA-cam channel I ordered some RS-4 pads for my vantage from him, they’re supposed to be less squeaky and a lot less dust

I do love the Aston its a great car, but if I had your budget I'm 100% going down the porsche route, just unmatched driving experience imo.
I did it though, can definitely see me going back in the future. But working have been enough of a change personally
It's such a characterful car you've just got to love it when you see one. The German marques have lost their way a bit lately in terms of a lack of exclusivity. You won't park next to another one of those in Tesco, but you wouldn't be surprised if another Cayman pulled up next to you.
Entertainment system? Is there a delete option..lol.
If I had the money, i'd get the car to drive for fun. Wouldn't give a damn about entertainment systems and Sat Nav.
as far as entertainment system. All anyone cares about now is if it has Apple car play or android pay. It's the reason I won't get a Tesla. No Apple Car Play. Kind if want an Aston Martin after watching this video.
Said it once and I'll say it again. Feed a car like that chopped up sea lions and polar bears if that's what it takes.
Don't even look at the cost. Enjoy every moment of ownership. Because it won't be long before we're forced into driving cars that need re charging. Blehh 😝
