- Hong Sau is powerful Kriya Yoga mantra that can rejuvenate and enliven our spiritual practice. This mantra was taught by Paramahansa Yogananda to his students in preparation for Kriya Yoga Pranayama techniques.
This session was recorded during our March 2024 Equinox retreat, near Pittsburgh, PA. For more information on retreats, immersions and online classes, please see our website.

Thank you.
Thanks Ryan.. I lost a very important person in my life recently and this has shaken all my spiritual beliefs.. now I don't even want to sit to mediate anymore or pray or talk to Divine.. Do you have any suggestion anything that can help? thank you
Grief counseling.
All the meditation in world didn't help my own losses. But a good counselor did, which allowed me to persist in meditation

Thank you.
What I find is that my breathing becomes very shallow and slow. Almost stopping . The vibrations are strong throughout my body but the Hong and Song following the breath becomes almost not pissible due to the shortness of breath. Am I doing this wrong??
Make no attempt to control your breathing, just let its flow be completely natural. Try to feel that your breath itself is silently making the sounds of Hong and Sau. Initially try to feel the breath at the point where it enters the nostrils. - from ananda website
