- 'THE SMELL' is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language Romantic thriller Short film directed by R sreeraj.This short fiction depicts how a wrong decision disrupts harmony in a seemingly normal family.This is a gripping investigation thriller which happens when a middle aged guy is found dead in his apartment. Story evolves when a husband finds out an affair between his wife and the deceased, which turns their world topsy Turvy.

The smell എന്ന title ഉം മരിച്ചു കിടക്കുമ്പോഴുള്ള dressing, shoes oke കാണുമ്പോൾ Perfume ആയിരിക്കാം മരിക്കുവാൻ കാരണം എന്ന് അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ മനസിലാക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു. Title മറ്റൊന്നായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഒരുപക്ഷെ ആ ഒരു prediction ഒഴിവാക്കാമായിരുന്നു. ചില fonts ഒന്ന് മാറ്റി പിടിക്കാമായിരുന്നു.Story - content അടിപൊളി. BGM, SFX ഒക്കെ വളരെ നന്നായിരുന്നു. ഒരു 30+ minutes കൊണ്ടുപോകാമായിരുന്ന കഥ 15 minutes ൽ maximum engaging ആക്കി നിർത്തുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു. Nice Work guys 👏👏👏

The plot and story was quite beautifully done.
But some scenes of acting and the dialogues felt kinda scripted and unnatural.
And I also felt the first half was kinda dragged and the climax was rushed.
Other than that I liked it and also really liked the method of murder which was used in this story.

Wat a style of murder. I liked the last expression of her husband, at the end. She & her boyfriend thought, they were smart to cheat her husband. He taught both of them a good lesson. Extramarital affairs vr always wrong. One can't get away with it. Wil always get caught. Beautiful vrevenge
