I just binged watched the whole first season and it’s very good. The pararellel story lines, the feuds between Sheep and cattle farmers, native Americans and missionaries, and clashes of old world vs new. The 2 love interests of the Dutton boys are gorgeous, and I can even believe Han Solo is a cowboy (As long as he isn’t getting on or off a horse)
yeah, instead of that, they just keep the women working for them. that doesn’t seem to bother him so much. he doesn’t want to be a slave to others, but doesn’t mind others slaving away for him.
Big HAT TIP to Yellowstone folk. From story to acting to scenery, these shows are a country mile beyond the rest of the crap being put out as entertainment these days!
Yellowstone is a horribly violent show. My sister suggested it to me bc I dress western, but we don't need any more glorification of violence in the US.
@Luisventuralaw i can appreciate your sentiment but did you stop to consider the fact that it takes the violence of law abiding people who care about things like justice and the respect of other peoples rights and well being to combat the unwanted violence of narcissistic sociopaths and psychopaths that permeate our culture and do I need to bring up the fact that human nature is all about conflict and the violence necessary to keep those forces at bay. When the bad guys stop being violent then violence to stop them wont be necessary. I dont like violence either but id rather teach my kid to fight the bad guys for the right reasons than to let him become someone elses victim. The only thing evil fears is violence against itself. Pray for peace Prepare for war.
@@johnhause7150 My objection is not to every type of violence. My objection is to the great amount of violence in Yellowstone that should not exist in a civilized society. Much, if not most, of the violence in the show is simply retaliatory or a means to getting what the characters want even if not supported by law. Of course, it is "just a show," but such things have an effect on how people think even when they believe their thoughts are not affected. So, the violence is glorified in this show. We do not need more of that, especially in U.S. society.
