It was absolutely wonderful! Like Andy said, there was a certain magic to the clip. They were so young and full of life, unknowing of how successful and legendary they would become later on.
How lucky was Andy to have these talented musicians in his life? To be one of the four greatest rockstars of the 70's.
And how lucky we are to have Andy still delievering some of the best music there ever was to us!

I thought that the four singles before Funny Funny were great.
Then (what I call their wilderness years) there were six terrible singles that fortunately had great B sides. I never got back into Sweet until Blockbuster.

There is a fragmented copy of the Hell Raiser performance, most of which is just Noel Edmonds talking, and the Teenage Rampage performance definitely partly exists as a camrecording

I wish they taped so much more. Same with many great bands from the 60’s and 70’s. But I guess we’re lucky to have what we do have. I was only 5 or 6 when I discovered Sweet back in 71or 72. Them and Elvis were my absolute favorites and both still rank in my top 20.

No. It’s Steve Priest’s old band that he didn’t want going on without him after he died. They use the photos with Andy in them to try to get people to think it’s Andy’s band but it is not. 😠 I know they are purposefully trying to fool people. They’ve been doing this since Steve died.
