The young folks I see who make positive comments about great music of any era give me hope! Many of them don't like the commercialized crap that today's music industry pushes on them, and they are discovering music from the past to love, sometimes it's music even older than me!
Recently, I had a delightful "conversation" with a 15 year old high school student in the comment section on a video of Sarah Vaughan, filmed in Europe in the 1950s. She went into details about Sarah's talent and why she's considered to have one of the best voices ever recorded.
That "child" knew what she was talking about, and I told her I'd be so proud to have a granddaughter like her.

Such a weird ass song, I remember being 9 years old and remember the "Ballroom Blitz" and all the lyrics to boot. Growing up 70's indeed. Let's not forget "Love is like oxygen" and of course the fabulous "Fox on the run". I was called a "Fox" in the 70's a couple of times ;) .

Love the way Mick Tucker just isn't taking it seriously at the end - bashing on his drums with his hands and then throwing it around the stage. A great band of musicians who still knew how to have fun.
