@@juansanchezdominguez7885 Depends what you mean, the truth can be many things, it can be scientific, objective, subjective, emotional... Which truth are you referring to? - The one that Jordan Peterson is right?
That would be the factual truth, based on science, based on countless studies which are all available for the public to read and hopefully be able to understand for themselves.
The subjective truth (which is one of the most dangerous because it's oftentimes associated with psychological instabilities) could for an example be the preposterous notion that a man is a woman and that a woman is a man. It's nothing but hogwash and child-like thinking (even though most kids knows about the concept of biology and what separates the two sexes from being one and the same)
Then there's emotional truth, which is basically just clouded egocentrical thinking (i.e. "I did this to him/her because X")
Finally we have objective truth, which is when someone thinks that he/she sees something and then either reacts or doesn't react upon it (without knowing the full story)
So, I ask you again, which truth are you referring to?

@@jamesm.4426 I think you weren't paying attention to the topic of conversation. From the context that I saw, the conversation was in regards to him speaking on topics that were found offensive by certain people, or discussing opinions or information he had discovered, and those opinions or information was found offensive by these people. He was being "accused" of being offensive, and questioned on why that was the case, and thus he answered.
Why are you allowed to say things that I find offensive, but I'm not allowed to do the same? Everybody is going to find something offensive about something you say, so to say *anything* is to risk being offensive. But that's a necessity, you *have* to risk being offensive, because sometimes people will get needlessly offended by a simple truth that's necessary for improvement. One such topic is fat shaming, people have become incredibly sensitive and easily offended about weight and obesity, but it's absolutely ridiculous. It's a medical concern, it's going to *kill* you and people are trying to save your life, but instead you're getting offended over it?
It's insanity, because we don't act that way over people who have cancer or diabetes or any other condition from the laundry list of potentially fatal, to simply inconvenient and unpleasant, conditions.

@@georgewoods8231 JP is a fake intellectual, I am a real intellectual since I realize that we do not understand pre-experimental thinking, so we try to explain it in terms that we do understand - which means that we explain it away, define it as nonsense. After all, we think scientifically - so we believe - and we think we know what that means (since scientific thinking can in principle be defined). We are familiar with scientific thinking, and value it highly - so we tend to presume that that is all there is to thinking (that all other “forms of thought” are approximations, at best, to the ideal of scientific thought).
But this is not accurate. Thinking also and more fundamentally is specification of value - is specification of implication for behavior. This means that categorization, with regards to value -determination (or even perception) of what constitutes a single thing, or class of things - is the act of grouping together according to implication for behavior. Do you agree?

And the reason he’s always in control is because of his calm approach. Asking why a person is asking a specific question, and breaking down what the goal of a specific question is.
Kinda reminds me of the lead character in the tv series “Ransom” and his principal of negotiation. “Figure out what someone wants, and give them what they need.”
(Also slightly reminds me of Alastor from Hazbin Hotel and his ideology about smiles. How, so long as you’re always smiling it inspires your friends, frustrates your enemies and keeps them guessing, and makes sure that, in any situation that you’re the one in control).

His response being: “in order to think, you have to risk being offensive” going further to point out: “Look at the conversation we’re having right now. You’re certainly willing to risk offending me in the pursuit of truth. Why should you have the right to do that? It’s been rather uncomfortable.”

They need to ditch the hate and aggression and assumptions and start being fair: Positive points for positive points instead of expecting being a bunch of freeloading twats. It's great that you got the JP tix for your sons, and I'm sure his words will help them become better men. The fact that these people are also men only further proves how broken this system is.
He's a conservative grifter that doesn't criticise the system but only shits on "liberals" because THEY are the reason we are all miserable to him. When it comes to gender, too, then we can also see that it is less likely for women to get to the top. Being at the op is important because then you have almost unlimited things you can do to further push your own goals (Jeffery Epstein was rich as fuck and despite being convicted in the mid-2000's, he wasn't arrested until a decade later. True Shady. Although not always 100% in agreement with Jordan there is nothing he states that is NOT backed up by countless studies.
Journalists etc who criticise him say "you say.... etc" but he retorts the studies show. He merely points out facts and people who have few facts to substantiate what they claim etc dislike being shown they are expressing either their own or societies opinions NOT facts so they attack him rather than what he says because they cannot show what he says to be wrong. It is like that old saying " Don't shoot the messenger". Jordan is the messenger, they dislike the message so they attack him and expose their own insecurities etc in the process.

The best way for me to interact is individual to individual and as if they are part of the process by which things we don't understand can yet be explored and by things that aren't properly organized in our society can yet be set right. Free speech also is the mechanism by which we generate the conceptions that allow us to organize our experience in the world, it is the mechanism that allows us to reformulate and criticize those conceptions when they become outdated and sterile, to reanimate them in a new form so we can move into the future. Yes but truthfully speaking, by no offense, i would say a woman apart from you madam will dislike him cause he speaks the truth ,. No offense meant ma'am. Just saw a lot of women negatively commenting on his views and kudos to you for respecting this guy 😅

@Selvaraj P I was a CEO of a company for 10 years and I know what he says is true. Put a lot of pressure on the family cos the mother remains the main nurturer no matter the age of the children. And that is a special role for a woman. So own it. Women should stop competing for power and money and acknowledge there is power in being a present mom. Economic pressures challenge this role but doesn't detract from what women are created for.

People can be so stupid, Jordan is so wise. When watching Jordan, you almost always face stupid people. It's almost like they ALWAYS want to fight !

Sometimes, a simple biological question becomes complicated by woke culture. Peterson's spoke straight into biology and the answer is clear and scientific.

I’ve only just been introduced to Dr. Peterson but I have to say I’m a fan, I like the way he phrases things and often provides an alternative perspective to any that have come before

He's so hypnotic. This is a UA-cam rabbit hole I'm thankful to have fallen down. What a calm, commanding, eloquent gentleman.

Man it must get old going on interviews and being asked to defend yourself for things you have never said.

If you enjoy subjects about masculinity and mastery, I invite you to explore the videos I share on the Mastery Order Channel.
Challenge yourself with some ideas about manhood, explore your masculine potential to the maximum and become the kind of man you would admire and respect.
We can only better ourselves together, as men among men, so I invite you to use what I share and, of course, share your own points of view so that others can benefit from them as well.
      All the best to you!
