Airbus BELUGA Fantastic CROSSWIND Landing + A300-600ST Beluga Plane Spotting at Hawarden Airport!

- After a great morning of plane spotting at Manchester Airport, we headed across to Hawarden (Chester) to try our luck at catching some Airbus Beluga transport aircraft in action. Luck was on our side and we managed to film two departures and two landings in the time we were there! 😀✈️
Here's the afternoon's worth of footage in one 9 minute video for you all. 😊 This is a fantastic, unique super transport aircraft and to see it up close and personal at Hawarden (CEG/EGNR) was a brilliant experience! 😆 Really pleased with the shots we got and I hope you like them too, if you do please don't forget to thumbs up the video! 👍

It’s amazing to think that this plane can even fly on two engines
same with the XL
Don't confuse the size with weight, it's basically carrying large size parcels like aircraft wings , not necessarily very heavy items.
They should put two for extra thrust
It's not the engines that makes it "fly".
Airplanes are just gliders that has happen to have engines. Hahahaha
What with a vertical twist body yeah lol
I always imagine a room full of aeronautical engineers with a wall of computers designing a regular airframe down to the 5th decimal place, when some new guy arrives and says “Hey, let’s try this.”

I live about 3 miles from this airfield. I never get bored of seeing this aircraft flying past my house.
Likewise, we live quite high up and are always happy to see its smiling face.

Pilot is absolutely amazing
Good shots. I've seen a few Belugas flying past Bolton on their way to Hawarden Airport and got some pix even though they were several miles away using a 50x zoom.
Nice to see actual footage of the landing and taking off rather than just tracking them on Flightradar24.

Talented people behind the cockpit i can tell
an old aeronautics professor told me 40 years ago that anything could could fly providing it has wings and a reasonably aerodynamic shape, so seeing the Beluga fly doesn't surprise me, but it's still surprising the watch it take of and land.

I remember the Super Guppy back in the 70's. It had four turboprop engines. Awesome aircraft. The Beluga continues a fine tradition of heavy lift flying.

Excellent Video, its great to see these beautiful aircraft, there's been a few go-arounds and diversions lately due to the high wind, I work at Broughton, the Cafe "Chocks Away" near the Northern end of the runway is fabulous :)

Hey fantastic video of the beluga landing in cross wind! But I was wondering where you are spotting from at Hawarden as I struggle to find a good spot for take off and landings eg. obstruction if you could tell me thanks!
