Hello, I was in the same situation a month ago and got the original non hybrid mattress, and love it everyday. I had issues with lower back pain and feeling the pressure points on my old mattress and feel none of that with this mattress. No more groaning when I get up in the morning. Once i get on the mattress to sleep for the night I am out like a light, best uninterrupted sleep. Hope this helps you with your decision.

Do Purple mattresses sag after a few months? A year? Do the coil hybrids lead to less or more sagging? Trying to avoid the sag.
