Whoever made this commercial seriously deserves some kind of award. This was the only ad I never skipped and watched all the way through. It’s a genius way to promote their product. I like how they made it funny and memorable but also informative and convincing at the same time, unlike other ads where they just list all the advantages of the product in a “professional” way.

My husband and I tried the Purple mattress after seeing this commercial. Not only was it funny as all get out, it addressed problems that we had with our futon. I ruptured two discs in my back having our third son, and for years woke up every morning with awful back pain. He needed a firm mattress and I needed something different. We tried a memory foam topper but it got so hot it was like sleeping with an electric blanket set on high all night. The Purple bed solved all of our problems. I seriously did not think a different mattress would make my back pain go away. it sounded too good to be true....but it worked!

I love how they show footage at the end of the egg test and her actually having to break the eggs by hand because they didn't break on the purple! That's the kind of solid proof we need! That means this is legit and not edited to look like the eggs didn't break. ( and that they were real eggs).
Also, mallory is the best person they could have picked for this commercial, she already has a personal fan following from studio c and she is just really good at being funny.
The Purple Mattress commercials with Mallory is still being run now (2021) on over-the-air TV stations and national cable channels. I really like Mallory, and hope this paves the way for her landing roles on future TV shows and movies outside of BYUTV.

The last 10 seconds are good proof of this-they show the eggs falling unbroken, then they break the eggs themselves to prove that they’re actually eggs. It’s brilliant!

I hate Commercials. I hate advertisements. That being said, every single time this add pops up I never skip it. Its not over the top. The actress is fun and actually really good at acting. It doesn't treat the viewer like a child. It doesn't pull that fake "interviewing "REAL" customers for their opinions" schtick. It seems very refreshingly honest and upfront. It's both informational and fun at the same time. A little meta. Witty and funny. This is legitimately the first time I've ever seen an ad that actually made me want the product they're peddling. Kudos to you Purple. Next time I have a choice in mattress I'll read the reviews and try you guys out to see if you live up to your legendary marketing. If more companies cared as much as you guys and put as much effort into their uninspired formulaic ads as you guys then I might not hate ads as much.

I didn't even hear about Purple until I googled for good mattresses. I went to a mattress store and tested it out, and I was sold. The Hybrid 4 felt amazing, but I had to settle for the original Purple, which still feels far, far better than any bed I can recall sleeping in at least the past 5 years. It will arrive next week!

"Purple" has one of the most attractive advertisements because of such a user-friendly, humble atmosphere which actually explains to the consumer exactly *why* their products work with easy-to-understand examples and demonstrations instead of useless blank statistics or hollow words with nothing to back them up. Advertisements from Purple are, therefore, actually enjoyable for the above reasons and beyond. This is what separates Purple from it's competitors. Keep it up!

These commercials ALONE convince me to want a Purple mattress
Every add in my life i have skipped because it was, well an add but the purple adds always somehow always manage to keep me watching again again I remember the frist time saw those adds airing i was like 11 or 12 and used to have a crappy bed and pillow I remember begging my parents to give me at least a purple pillow which I never got but I still get little excited about seeing a purple pillow at in the public. The adds makes me nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood and the egg test.
Was watching another video this came on before it, the ad was so entertaining and interesting I had to watch the whole thing.
