This is such a stupid part of the washing machine lol. Was it so difficult to create some sort of blockable tube attached to the front drain? So we can control where the water goes.
Honestly the front load washing machines are the WORSE ! The drain is almost on the floor , you can’t use a bucket to put under . I use to own a Maytag top loader & NEVER had to drain the washing machine . Once a month I’d take out the spin thing inside , added some vinegar & put it through a cycle , & that was it. Now it’s all CHEAP crap being made.
Or its Blocked by Something that was in the pockets. The washer will then simply shut down. Drain it by Hand and Clean the Filter or toss the washer including the clothing inside

If you washer stops draining, you will also have to manualy drain a top loader. IT doesnt Matter at all 😂.
