    I’m a nurse training in holistic nursing and was in an online summit for holistic nurses… one of the presenters is in Lifewave and promoting it for our patients and as a second stream of income 🤢
    What is happening! We are having nurses preying on their vulnerable patients now??? I’m disgusted by it. This is NOT holistic healthcare.
    I’m all for the benefits of the placebo effect. That is a thing… but I’m sure these things cost a fortune, not to mention the lie that is the business model…
    dude this is ridiculous 🤦🏻‍♀️

    • @annea.4173

      It's sickening the way health care professionals can be duped into preying on patients. In one of her Top Fails videos, Hannah Alonzo featured a (I believe) child psychologist who promoted his MLM product to the mother of one of his patients and posted about it online! I can't remember the MLM (another of the holistic ones, maybe Herbalife?) but it was just gross that he'd not only do it, but also post about it (I think on TikTok, sorry but I watched this a while ago).

      I have seen much of this as well and lots of other horribly manipulative things. I quit a very expensive course after they started pushing vegan only diets and not just cutting out junk foods and more exercise and take the advice of your doctor or a dietitian. There was also some other talk that gave me MLM pushing may be happening in the cohort. Just had stopped speaking with them after I withdrew from the course, refusing to speak to them and blocked all their numbers.
      Really wanted that certification, but after seeing how many are pushing MLM stuff I’m happy to have not completed it. But I do wish I had that money back 😅

    • @RescueNinjaKris10
      @RescueNinjaKris10 Місяць тому +11

      @@deltasaves fortunately in this program there was only one doing the MLM nonsense. I was duped into an MLM and I did share it with patients. But it was affordably priced and decent product. I was never pushy about it, and I probably gave away much more than I sold because I was trying to be helpful. Then one day I encountered anti MLM content and immediately started to rethink my involvement and stopped giving/selling it to anyone. Then I listened to the Dream Podcast and started to understand why it’s not about the products, but the business model. I also realized I had been completely indoctrinated. And the woman sharing Lifewave is probably like me, thinking she’s helping. But for the organizer to be all in, and allowing her to use her platform is irresponsible in my opinion.

      Not necessarily stupid, and a very understandable question. Beyond medicated creams that have a local effect, there are medications that come as patches and work systemically.
      Also, a few vaccines are available as nasal sprays these days.

    "Light therapy" used for psoriasis for example isn't just a pretty LED pointed at you, it's the same ultraviolet radiation that we get from the sun (UVA or UVB depending on the treatment). I kind of don't like it being called light therapy since it gives off misleading "crystal healing" vibes.

    It always grinds my gears when people talk about scientific “proof” of things… the whole point of science is you can’t “prove” anything! As you develop evidence for your hypothesis, it can turn into a bona fide theory, sure. But a theory is just a really supported hypothesis still. Not proof.
