I bought one. I got the titanium race exhaust put on. THAT IS MANDATORY! It cleans up the look, makes it faster and lighter, but the real selling feature is the SOUND!!!! Stock exhaust is neutered. Race exhaust sounds like beauty. Raw beefy beauty.
I love this new Diavel. A red one will look nice next to my panigale V4. 😁

This is one of those bikes that no sport bike fan should be a big fan of on paper but there's just something about it that makes you want to keep coming back to it! I'm surprised no one else has tried blending cruisers with sports bikes/nakeds!
They have. Vmax 1700, which this copied.
Arch motorcycles are $85k+. Not quite an equal comparison.
@mycobrahatesyou I thought about that too! What about the Rocket 3? But V max may be start. Even before V Rod. So muscle bikes were out before
I’m in the market for a 1260S - waited for the v4 but the design just doesn’t seem to be proportional and as aesthetic as the 1260S I find. But maybe I should wait til March to see it in the dealership.. performance wise there is no difference - the 1260S seems somewhat quicker in acceleration and the v4 somewhat better in the top end - probably smoother though. But the 1260S motor is a beast as well. Assistance is formally updated but in reality seems the same as for the 1260S I suppose (cABS, TC etc)
This just makes my decisions even harder.. thanks ducati! 😊

Hey Ducati in Dallas can this motorcycle be lowered I’m only 5’2 or come with a lower seat ? I’m just worried being that I’m short but I really want this bike but with racing exhaust
No mods needed! V4 the perfect engine with both torque and high rpm horsepower. Perfect weight for this powerful bike.

Im an xDiavel owner. This bike is polarizing. The cylinder deactivation is disappointing. Ducati got drunk and slept with Aprilia on this one.
It's the owner not the bike. You need to do more homework.

Absolutely love this bike. Been looking for a lightweight, sporty cruiser to replace my Road King Special and this is definitely going to be it!
One question: Is there any chance Ducati will come out with a V4S version of this bike within the next year or two? It’s the only question keeping me from ordering this fine machine right now. Cheers!
You might want to consider a low mi used Diavel and save half your money, especially XDiavel with forward controls like a cruiser. You wont be dissappointed in performance especially from what you’re used to. Its wicked quick.
im 44... Ive had my 2016 X-diavel s for 5 years..... best bike ive ever owned... and ive owned many...... this may be my next bike.... looking forward to visiting the ducati dealership this summer

What does it sound like stock? Multistrada, Streetfighter/Panigale? Hopefully not the stock 1260 sound
Man it's a sin to ride anything which is not red that's a Ducati.
I own a super Duke 1290r and a MV AGusta 800rr Dragster Pirelli edition. I bought the SD for the engine and cool headlight. I bought the MV cuz 27 out of 200, cool styling, and unique triple muffler to show its a triple. I would of bought a Streetfighter but the v4 is hidden. This Diavel like the MV stating something different. The muffler, engine, and styling is perfect. V4 similar torque v2 but top end similar in line 4. So tempted! This is now more a niche bike. Always loved the tail lights
Red or black, that is the question. Black is more stealthy bad ass looking, cool as hell. Red is bolt and sporty, in your face like a red Ferrari. What should one go for? Cool of hot? Stealth or bold?
Thanks for the overview of the Diavel V4 in the video. I agree you have to experience the motorcycle in person. I have had my Diabel V4 for five days now, and I am enjoying it compared to my 1260s. I do have a question about the amount of wiggle and play up and down on the rear passenger seat.
It could be a better design, and I do not see how this is stable or secure to support passengers' safety and secure bags.
The lack of firmly latching the seat to the motorcycle and the amount of play is a defect. What are your thoughts?
Can you please comment whether the factory side bags require you to have the passenger backrest installed? It looks to be that way from the Ducati website, which would be really disappointing.

You certainly can service your own bike at home however only the dealer can reset the service indicator on the display.
