- Ducati has just unveiled the 2023 all-new Diavel V4. In this video, I take a first look at the new Diavel V4 and also spend a weekend cruising and living the high life on the Black and Steel 1260S.
Thanks to Ducati London and DJ Supreme UK, I attend Lady Wimbledon's summer tennis party and wowed guests with this sporty cruiser. I also spend time riding it through the country lanes and take you with me as I take photographs of it at the beach.

I’m sure they are both awesome bikes, I personally haven’t ridden the Diavel V4 yet, but have a friend who owns one after trading in his 1260, he really loves the V4! 😁
The Diavel is a series on its own. Some like it, some don’t. I’m a Ducatista at heart and I really like this style of Ducati. Great review Phil and to let us peak into the Wimbledon event as well!
I am a long term diavel owner. One thing that I am pleased about is that the new V4 Diavel has gone back to the fold away rear footpegs.

Wow what an adventure going to lady wimbledons party , and what a Machine to showcase there , I loved the Black & Steel colour scheme , now that new V4 is a real head turner the 4 pipe exhaust looks amazing and the rear light too , I`m a complete Triunph nut but I think the Rocket III has some competition , great video and those still shots were amazing ,looking forward to the next one , safe riding Phil.

The rocket 3 certainly is an awsome machine. They have taken certain styling cues from the diavel like the rear single sided swing arm and fold away rear foot pegs. Triumph have deliberately put them selfs in the firing line of the ducati diavel.
I have been looking at the rocket 3s my self, however the lack of lean angles before scraping puts me of. Which is a shame.
@@minatormyth I really hope that next year I’ll get the opportunity to use a Rocket for a few days and of course create a video! 😁
I like how Ducati has moved the handle bars back a little as well as the foot pegs. I WANT this Ducati, in black.

Brilliant footage and photography Phil, I have always said Ducatis should be red , but that one you where on was a really nice looking colour . Looked like a lovely day out you had . I thought the little dog coming into shot was going to lift a leg into the bike .😀👍

Well, you already know what I think, I've ordered it in red but I'm sorely going to miss my 1260s 😞 I'm surprised that Ducati are still touting it as a cruiser when they've moved the footpegs back and made it look even more like a naked muscle bike, plus there's the xDiavel which IS a tourer.

@@TheAdventuresofPhilJones may be.. But its my dream bike.. and I wanted this bike when I first saw it on internet in 2010. I WAS 14 year old child back then.. no other bike has ever grown within me as this bike has. And that frame was the real soul. Now I'm 26 and can afford this bike.. I had plans to buy this within 2 years. But they just killed it. I am so upset. This lookes like the new ducati monster is on steroids nothing more nothing special.
I can only wish that ducati will not discontinue the diavel 1260s segment.

@@TheAdventuresofPhilJones I live in India and this bike is so rare here. that's why I may be out of luck for owning the 1260s. Its nice talking to you and looking forward about your next video topic, ducati needs to realize that speed, sharp handling, weight loss is not only option to creat a legacy...
I have become way to emotional about this unwanted change. ..
In my opinion, the granturismo v4 isn't suited for a muscle bike such as the diavel. It sacrifices torque all across the rpm range at the altar of horsepower (+6hp to be precise) and somehow manages to be less efficient than the 8 years old testastretta dvt 1262.
Better tech and slightly better brakes is what plays in favor of the diavel v4, but it costs mv agusta levels of money, and its nowhere near as gorgeous as a brutale 1000rr or a diavel 1260s (the Good Design Award 2019 winner).
