as a dapples main i'll literally take any buff the devs give us. im glad the devs r seeing the issues with the dapples and trying to buff it accordingly.

Agreed. Although it's definitely the best they could've done, it's definitely a start. Pretty hyped to try dapples again as a rm cooler niche

i feel like this is an underrated change, dapples spread mode is really decent and having 170 cooler is obviously really nice

Something that no-one is talking about are the various Brella fixes in this patch.
Two bug fixes for ALL Brellas, one bug fix for Bambrella, and a indirect buff to Bambrella thanks to the bubble buff.
There may not be any direct buffs to any of the brellas, but it's great to see Nintendo at least trying to fix the class's bugs.
That being said why the hell did they decrease the points for special on a weapon that is already notorious for spamming specials on the competitive variant that has 200p? Like I get Chumps isn't the best special but cmon, 170p? On a NZAP?!?
Dapples Nouveau was my first gold weapon badge, and this gives me a good enough reason to go back to V. Dapples! I miss playing a support weapon!
I finally got the gold crab tank badge! Pencil shouldn’t be as broken now.

I'm happy Dapple Dualies get a mobility buff as we all know Dapple Dualies and Nouveau are the fastest due to their lightweight the "lighter you get the faster you are"
I find it extremely funny that I'm doing my senior project on Pencil and why it's a problem, and then they go and nerf it immediately
It's still gonna be a problem lmao this barely changes anything
One thing that could have combatted squid roll carrying through a Splattercolor was making Splattercolor mark people who pass through it. I get that Nintendo wanted to make it so people wouldn't wanna pass through screen, but that buff wasn't exactly what it needed
It feels like RSU could be nice for this weapon

Painbrush finally got buffed!!! It’s my favorite weapon.
I tried buffing Nova’s shot rng before by about 17%. It’s a good direction for Nova but it’s nowhere near enough, let alone 8%. Honestly for nova, I’m just thinking reverse falloff should happen

@@Chase247 I hope the main weapon buff will actually be notiable. I almost only play dapples and the last main weapon buff feels like nothing to me ngl. Cooler buff is nice tho!

I feel like they adjusted things that needed adjustments but most of it is kinda meh. Like Pencil pfs nerf yay I guess but the weapon still paints too much. Idk I just feel like pfs nerfs alone aren't significant enough to make people start using other kits instead. Like Zap got a pfs buff also and Zap is obviously way better than Dapple but I still doubt most teams will use it over Pencil. The only changes that really seemed significant is the Kraken and Bubbler ones. The Kraken one is obviously huge and that alone probably makes this a net positive patch but still, it feels like they're afraid to make more meaningful changes. Hopefully the Undertow rework is good though.
This might be a hot take, but I feel like Nova should _never_ be perfectly accurate. Sure, the 5-shot kill means it’s DPS and time to splat isn’t great, but that combination of decent paint output and easily outranging short shorter range options like most shooters and dualies could make it pretty damn annoying to deal with.
Just give it a range buff and it will be OP
I'm not dissapointed by the buffs at all but why on earth is N-Zap 89 170p??
Like, chumps aren't meta or what not but CDS got a special point nerf with chumps...
(Also, no explo winding frame buffs 😔)
