My top 5 least favorite main weapons: 5. Splatana Stamper 4. Squeezer 3. Splattershot 2. Range Blaster 1. 52 gal I’ve been a 52 gal hater since Splatoon 1 And my friends wonder why I’ve never played Splatoon 3 competitively.
As a Big Swig Roller Express and Splat Roller Main, I really hate the .52 Gal, .96 Gal, Tentatek Splattershot, all chargers (well except Bamboozler and Snipewriters), Inkbrush, Octobrush, Heavy Edit Splatling, Range Blaster, and Clash Blaster.
Omg can’t believe I found another big swig express main. This list is accurate but I don’t mind the brushes, clash and shots too much though. Edits annoying but I don’t hate it too much.
As some one who uses Both Splat Dualies, Both Glooga Dualies, an E-liter 4K, and Nautilus, I sincerely hope I'm annoying, because that means I'm doing my job. Only weapon I dislike is Blob because of the nature of its projectiles. It gets everywhere. It gets in the corners. My precious corners...
As stringer main, carbon rollers, ink brushes, blasters, nautilus, and splatanas give me the most trouble. Don't hate them, but do hate my odds when they're on the other team. I find I work well with them when they're on my team instead though.
4k eliter because it's the one thing that easily outranges a stringer, dualies because of how fast they close the gap and pressure a stringer, and any weapons that can just aim up to a ledge and hit a person, i.e. blasters, sloshers, blobbers. When I see those on the other team I groan audibly 😆 0 respect for tri slosher since Splatoon 2.
Super agro charger player here, from worst to not as worse: 1. Squeezer (i can't escape) 2. Splatana Stamper 3. Tri-Stringer 4. Any blaster that has more or the same range as range blaster 5. Any dualies (except dapple)
We better not be nerfing weapons after they get some results, nerf when it becomes mandatory to have on your team. It’d need to win like 3 more tournaments before it’s considered a top 5 weapon
@@HeDronHeDronHedronit’s impossible to find one person who doesn’t have it on a top 5 least favorite list. That’s how strong it is. I think it desperately needs nerfed. It gets good results in tournaments and is super popular in anarchy

@@HeDronHeDronHedron52 feels like the most braindead weapon though. I decided to use it myself and the first thing I did was instantly get a triple kill. Weapons like ballpoint, stamper, slosher, pencil and tent are a lot harder to use effectively than a 2 shot shooter. Yes those weapons might get better results but are really hard to get a lot of use from. 52 is way to easy to get great value with and doesn’t require much time to get good with. The weapons mentioned previously can take months to master while 52 is a weapon almost anyone can pick up and start doing really good with within a day as it has such a low skill floor and the weapon is just overtuned in general doing way too much
I hate all of these weapons except maybe the Painbrush, for pretty much all the same reasons you stated (Machine’s hitbox, Octobrush’s vision obscuring, Carbon as a whole, Tri being too fast, and .52 as a whole)
as an octobrush main, sorry. it's usually the reason i leave dualies alone (besides enperries you guys suck.) , but also, God I HATE going against painbrushes.
I'm an octo brush main and I can agree I hate fighting the painbrush mainly bc it can splat you in 2 shots when it takes me 4 to splat it tho I try to counter that by attacking it either from the side or behind ( just wanted to share my thoughts )
@HeDronHeDronHedron well if you're referring to 52 section I'm definitely not the only person saying that... i see top players say that about the weapon all the time. Even the current world champions are advocating for it to get nerfed lmfao
@@Chase247 I think we need more data, 52 deco is still relatively new and it’s not cooler or even stamper levels of dominant. I’d say 52’s results are just because jackpot is really good at the game. It’s more concerning that the team that didn’t run cooler got completely swept and could barely play the game
it’s annoying to play against someone who is even semi-good at octobrush. octobrush is a weapon i also can’t get used to playing, it almost feels too fast yet too slow at some points for me. that octobrush + ninja squid combo is… man. i also can’t stand playing against exploshers. literally IMPOSSIBLE to dodge.
Back in Splatoon 2 i used to hate those weapons except octobrush, no because i struggled against them but i didn't know how to use them including bamboozler, now in Splatoon 3 i give them a try and now i feel this game is much more fun using every weapon
Another thing is that even against a .52 who reached max rng spread, you can roll to his left and still get shot because he has super luck and a shot deviated left hits you and kill you
I was and still am Emperor Splat/Dappe Dualies main and I can safely say that I agree with this. However, there have been some changes since my love for the OG Splatana Wiper/Splatoon 3 was released. For me it's definitely the splatling class. They FEEL OP to fight against. Also, the amount of times they get me while I'm trying to run away. R.i.p :(
My 2 least favorite weapons are 52. Gal for pretty much your exact reasons, and Stamper, for its obnoxious charge slash fire rire rate, range, and 2 capabilities
52 gal main here, FUCK the hydra splatling During my struggle for S rank I tried everything from gal to dualie squelchers to wellstring yet I get fucking wrecked by those fucking cowards just standing up there spraying away while being out of reach for most of the time while I'm trying to mind my own fucking business, it got so bad to the point I had enough and made it my life's mission to grab a brush then run up to any hydra splatling user just to CREASE their jordans and make it personal cause if they ain't coming up to fight me, I'll be taking the fight to them instead
I basically hate to fight any weapon that has Aoe damage not because they are Op (they are not) but rather the guessing game that’s involved with the inconsistent hitboxes.
Nautilus and 52 are the worst. Whenever I get killed, I wanna feel like I was outplayed, and that never happens with these weapons. Theyre in a state right now where they are so powerful as main weapons, that players dont have to be anywhere near its skill ceiling to get results with it. Also, as a roller main, there isnt another roller that CANT piss me off

52 gal and range blaster are probably my least favorite 52 for all the reasons you gave, and blaster because of the awful netcode, especially when I play the stampers Right, forgot the other three. Slosher, dynamo, and hydraling
5. Liter we all know why 4. A Good Stamper player even with the nerfs its just insane how high the skill cealing of this weapon goes and how much value that skill cealing get it 3. JR the weapon is whatever the playstyle though is just constant bombs which for slower weapons like blasters which i play alot is just awful same with torpedos cause they are a paint to shoot down 2. 52. ye we all know why 1. Squeezer, Screw squeezer great kill time, amazing range, no jump rng, annnd the kit of splash wall and zooka paired with cooler meta just makes this awful to fight you spend like 30 seconds and a tone of reasroces to get rid of it and it just respawn instantly with a zooka
it's kinda funny that 3 of these are weapons i played a lot at some point. i've played a lot of tri and a good amount of machine and carbon i've largely stopped playing tri though
The 2 other weapons you listed shouldn't be here because they're the same weapon, plus I ain't sorry that Nautilus mains annoying you because I am one as well
It’s just splattlings for me. As a midline (and a newfound dualie squelcher) enthusiast, splattlings have been the only bane I’ve dealt with in 3. Im sure everyone struggles against shots and gals so I’d be stating the obvious saying they give me trouble.
Kinda strange you're not hating on the 96 gal. It's technically the same weapon as the 52, except the 96 gal has longer range than the 52 gal, and a bit slower fire rate too.
96 has no where near the rng and fire rate that 52 has. 52 is also just way more mobile and faster, making it a lot harder to deal with Not saying 96 isn't annoying but 52 is WAY worse
@@Chase247 Their both the same to me. My issue with the gal weapons is mainly the accuracy, the accuracy is horrible on both. Splattershot and splattershot pro is my main shooters, just has better accuracy. Screw all the gal weapons. I don't see why people use a shooter that has very bad accuracy
Always find it strange how the 52 & 96 gal aren't heavyweight weapons. Every class should have a heavyweight member with crazy specs IMO, and the weapon based on those wrist-breaking water coolers seems like an obvious choice.
Obviously there's no denying that 52 needs some of those late-game Sploon 2 buffs undone but I still like it having Wall I don't think the issue is that 52 has a synergistic kit, it's that some weapons don't. They give 52 its best possible sub but Light Tetra gets its worst possible sub
Not going to lie, I was expecting Heavy to be on this list. The main weapon and special are very effective against dualies and synergise amazingly together. Then again, wave breaker has been thoroughly power-crept over the course of the game, and the main weapon could use a buff to its shot velocity.

5. Splatana Stamper
4. Squeezer
3. Splattershot
2. Range Blaster
1. 52 gal
I’ve been a 52 gal hater since Splatoon 1
And my friends wonder why I’ve never played Splatoon 3 competitively.
3:01 this also hurts obrush (all brushes really but I can only speak for octo), I've had times where I count 5-6 slaps and the person doesn't die💀
Also a roller main, I fully agree.
I back most of this besides machine. Tbh I always found the best way to fight them is skirt around their range till they overextened or run low ink
Super agro charger player here, from worst to not as worse:
1. Squeezer (i can't escape)
2. Splatana Stamper
3. Tri-Stringer
4. Any blaster that has more or the same range as range blaster
5. Any dualies (except dapple)
Yay! Someone acknowledged the stringer!! 😆
I was *so* pleasantly surprised when the trails music came on for tri-slosher
Youre mic sounds super good!
As a trislosher main, our main weakness is our range. That’s why I always try using stealth tactics and ninja squid
52 is probably gonna get some nerfs, especially because during Worlds, both kits were producing results.
@@BigPro1123 And yet, vshot, snipewriter, slosher, range blaster, stamper, tent (maybe both kits, probably not), splash, dualies, nautilus, nzap, ballpoint, and possibly even machine neo are all better weapons. People hating a weapon isn't a good reason for it to be nerfed. Yeah it gets good results in tournament but its not like its MANDATORY like cooler
The weapons mentioned previously can take months to master while 52 is a weapon almost anyone can pick up and start doing really good with within a day as it has such a low skill floor and the weapon is just overtuned in general doing way too much
@@BigPro1123 ok so win a tournament and then it can get nerfed
I hate all of these weapons except maybe the Painbrush, for pretty much all the same reasons you stated (Machine’s hitbox, Octobrush’s vision obscuring, Carbon as a whole, Tri being too fast, and .52 as a whole)
When I was experimenting with different weapons, 52 gal made me feel like cheating so I main other weapons instead to have more fun
Just happy explosher isn’t up there. Also GoodKid is pretty good didn’t expect it playing in the background
as an octobrush main, sorry. it's usually the reason i leave dualies alone (besides enperries you guys suck.) , but also, God I HATE going against painbrushes.
Carbon roller is kinda peak to me tbh but the paintbrushes? Yeah theres a reason why i see clam blitz as the most unfair splatoon mode ever made.
Dualies are one of my least favorite to fight. They just keep rolling all over the place, they feel impossible to stop on clam blitz
I'm an octo brush main and I can agree I hate fighting the painbrush mainly bc it can splat you in 2 shots when it takes me 4 to splat it tho I try to counter that by attacking it either from the side or behind ( just wanted to share my thoughts )
As a Painbrush Nouveau main, I apologize for any pain I’ve caused, and try my best to not spam tenta missiles bc I hate special spammers
Player who plays “run in their face and shoot” weapon mad that there is weapon that counters “run at their face and shoot”
You do realize that this video is my opinion and I emphasized that exact thing you just said multiple times in the video 😂
@@Chase247 yeah I know, this is just a pattern. r/splatoon does this exact thing.
@@Chase247 I was talking in the comment about the needs nerfs part
Wiping the floor with Octobrush mains using Inkbrush+Turbo. 😎😎
As a Dualie main. The 52 Gal dosent even scare me…
*It’s the Chargers*
As a OctoBrush main I agree. I am a menace to duelies.
Literally every shooter except L-3 and H-3 because you actually need skill for those
Back in Splatoon 2 i used to hate those weapons except octobrush, no because i struggled against them but i didn't know how to use them including bamboozler, now in Splatoon 3 i give them a try and now i feel this game is much more fun using every weapon
That’s so funny because I usually die to Dooleys when I’m using the gal
Another thing is that even against a .52 who reached max rng spread, you can roll to his left and still get shot because he has super luck and a shot deviated left hits you and kill you
me, who mains octobrush, carbon deco, and luna: *side eye*
As a splat dualie player finally someone understands me. No matter what slosher feels like it gets you even if you're out of range.
e-liter, e-liter, e-liter, e-liter, and e-liter.
I was and still am Emperor Splat/Dappe Dualies main and I can safely say that I agree with this. However, there have been some changes since my love for the OG Splatana Wiper/Splatoon 3 was released. So here is my new list of 5.
5. Nautilus
4. Reef Lux
3. Zap
2. All types of bucket mains
1. Carbon Roller Deco, especially with ninja squid…
P.S. I am eating my pizza right now 😂😂😂
For me it's definitely the splatling class.
Tri slosher is so annoying to play against because I always trade
52 gal main here, FUCK the hydra splatling
During my struggle for S rank I tried everything from gal to dualie squelchers to wellstring yet I get fucking wrecked by those fucking cowards just standing up there spraying away while being out of reach for most of the time while I'm trying to mind my own fucking business, it got so bad to the point I had enough and made it my life's mission to grab a brush then run up to any hydra splatling user just to CREASE their jordans and make it personal cause if they ain't coming up to fight me, I'll be taking the fight to them instead
Imagine how many consistent problems of this game would have been solved by rolling back a few s2 buffs before its release.
P-P-Please, don't kill me... I-I'm a .52 gal main...! 👀💧
So basically most of the weapons you don’t have to aim with. And 2 shot gun
playing against dynamo as a vshot main is so SO SO SO MUCH WORSE
vshots kill time is faster than dynamos horizontal flick startup lol
Tri-slosher and clash blaster are my least favorite because they have way to big of a hit box and all the player has to do is look at you to splat you
I basically hate to fight any weapon that has Aoe damage not because they are Op (they are not) but rather the guessing game that’s involved with the inconsistent hitboxes.
0:12 is that the reeflux I see?
As an inkbrush and squiffer main i hate dualies so seeing you going through it gives me life
Me as a tri slosher main, sorry if it seems broken. Oh, and do also hate 52. gal too, and explosher because of the crazy hitbox and damage
.52 Gal, Trislosher, Every Single Blaster, bloblobber, and stamper would be my worst matchups.
Nautilus and 52 are the worst. Whenever I get killed, I wanna feel like I was outplayed, and that never happens with these weapons. Theyre in a state right now where they are so powerful as main weapons, that players dont have to be anywhere near its skill ceiling to get results with it.
Also, as a roller main, there isnt another roller that CANT piss me off
Have you considered your mindset is bad
@@HeDronHeDronHedron Yes, absolutely. I feel like my mindset is most of the problem, but it's not that big of a deal to me because it doesn't affect my gameplay, just makes me rage sometimes
@@WaterFudge69a weapon with a kit like 52 is ridiculously good in solo q it’s just really hard to fight and really easy to use effectively. Even if you have a good mindset it’s hard to fight. It’s the only shooter that feels like you can’t do anything about with it’s absurd 13 frame 2 shot kill time with a wall to hard crutch on when in positions it shouldn’t be. With other shooters you usually can react to them shooting at you sometimes but 52 just kills you as it only needs two shots.
@@BigPro1123 Exactly. It's annoying when they run in a straight line into my bubble, and I see them, and I can't even get my first roller flick off because they just kill that fast.
i hate fighting against dualies as a splash-o-matic main
HELP I MAIN 4 OF THE WEAPONS YOU MENTIONED IM SORRY 😭😭
Octobrush (was recommended for me to play and i fell in love), Painbrush (i mainly started playing it for the funny name) Carbon Roller Deco (saw a video on how to play it and it seemed fun), Tri-slosher (wanted to learn something from the slosher class and tri was the easiest to learn def still takes some skill tho but it is REALLY easy)
@@shromie.doodleI haven’t used tri slosher in like a year and tried it again and got back to back 19 kill knockouts. It’s definitely the easiest weapon
For someone who mains dapples ummm all the rules I hate going against besides dapples them self
Here- I’m gonna put down my 5 worst ones to face _before_ watching, to see how it lines up with what you say. One would be too hard to pick outta a couple, so thnx for making it 5:
Nautilus
Tetras
Hydra
Carbon
Either Bamboo or any form of rapid blaster
Not necessarily in particular order, but you could call it a rough order.
Honestly I despise splattings 52 gals and snipers mainly because I main n-zap but I learn the maps I can get on the enemy’s base the most kill people on the way then make a distraction at their base so my team can paint but those 3 weapons stop me from ever doing if it’s on the opposite team
52 gal and range blaster are probably my least favorite
52 for all the reasons you gave, and blaster because of the awful netcode, especially when I play the stampers
Right, forgot the other three.
Slosher, dynamo, and hydraling
52, Carbon Deco, Trislosher, Nautilus, E-liter. Easily the worst 5. Honorable mentions to Pencil, 96 and Stamper
5. Liter we all know why
4. A Good Stamper player even with the nerfs its just insane how high the skill cealing of this weapon goes and how much value that skill cealing get it
3. JR the weapon is whatever the playstyle though is just constant bombs which for slower weapons like blasters which i play alot is just awful same with torpedos cause they are a paint to shoot down
2. 52. ye we all know why
1. Squeezer, Screw squeezer great kill time, amazing range, no jump rng, annnd the kit of splash wall and zooka paired with cooler meta just makes this awful to fight you spend like 30 seconds and a tone of reasroces to get rid of it and it just respawn instantly with a zooka
it's kinda funny that 3 of these are weapons i played a lot at some point. i've played a lot of tri and a good amount of machine and carbon
i've largely stopped playing tri though
Look when I play fiddy-two I'm public enemy number one so uh. I die a lot. Still fun to use
Nautilus 47, nautilus 79, classic squiffer, new squiffer, clash blaster
That's my 5 least favorite weapons
52 is also just way more mobile and faster, making it a lot harder to deal with
Not saying 96 isn't annoying but 52 is WAY worse
@@Chase247 Their both the same to me. My issue with the gal weapons is mainly the accuracy, the accuracy is horrible on both. Splattershot and splattershot pro is my main shooters, just has better accuracy. Screw all the gal weapons. I don't see why people use a shooter that has very bad accuracy
Always find it strange how the 52 & 96 gal aren't heavyweight weapons. Every class should have a heavyweight member with crazy specs IMO, and the weapon based on those wrist-breaking water coolers seems like an obvious choice.
Octo Brush, custom rb due to is getting so many krakens, machine, stamper, trislosher
Obviously there's no denying that 52 needs some of those late-game Sploon 2 buffs undone but I still like it having Wall
I don't think the issue is that 52 has a synergistic kit, it's that some weapons don't. They give 52 its best possible sub but Light Tetra gets its worst possible sub
Anyone who doesn't have .52 gal on their list is probably a .52 gal main
The bloblobber is way more skilles than 3 slosh. But i have 0 skill, thats why i use 3 slosh and only dualies😂
4:56 AAAA DON'T HIT ME
Not going to lie, I was expecting Heavy to be on this list. The main weapon and special are very effective against dualies and synergise amazingly together. Then again, wave breaker has been thoroughly power-crept over the course of the game, and the main weapon could use a buff to its shot velocity.
i honestly dont struggle against heavy too much, ballpoint and hydra are way tougher to deal with imo
I have a personal hate for the Explosher. 2nd would def be octobrush.
GOOD KID OSMOSIS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE INTRO I'M ACTUALLY GONNA SCREAM /pos
