This song brings tears to my eyes--initially of joy, then, perhaps, of longing for the past--but that's okay. I saw them live and they were fantastic! And thank you for posting this--it's absolutely wonderful to see them at the top of their game, in such a joyously-perfect expression of love, emotion, passion and musical energy. Foreigner and Lou Grammatico--one of the greatest rock bands, and rock vocalists--Rev on the Redline forever!!! _-Dirty White Boy
Id like to give Mick Jones a lot more praise but he's still getting his with a group based on this one. It's not really the same because it can't be. But he's doing well so I'm cool with it all. But LOU!!!
@AAlexM That is Mark Rivera. While never an official member of the band, he was a long-time Foreigner side man in their live shows. He played saxophone, flute, keyboards, and guitar. He also did a great job singing high tenor background and harmony vocals, as witnessed here. He is currently in the Billy Joel band, where he has been for quite some time.
Foreigner was one of my favorite bands back in the day and Lou Gramm is one of my all time favorite vocalists so it is amazing they wrote a song about me when the name Luanne spelt same way was not common! Cool! 💕
That’s so cool!! This is the song that made me fall in love with Foreigner & Lou Gramm. My Mom had “4” when I was around 5 years old. I loved the whole album but this was & still is my favorite song from that album. I remember singing & dancing to it back then & still do, honestly one of my favorite of all their songs. My name is spelled differently, so I know how nice it is when you see it spelled like yours. But having a Foreigner song with it, doesn’t get much cooler than that!
You listen and learn grandpa hater on a nostalgia trip, todays music is good too, you just wont give it a chance....just because its different than what you know does not make it bad. And Im one of you saying this, so figure that one out. 😂😈
Bob Mayo (of Frampton Comes Alive fame) is the second guitarist over on the left. Nice to see that he was out on stage as normally he would have been hidden up at the back.
Not so good live, they have never really been... great song, but have seen them 3 times, haven't seen a great live Lou show yet, sadly, don't get me wrong, I love Foreigner, but I think you have to practice more prior to touring. I would.... just sayin...drummer is rushing the whole thing way to much... haha... Rock on!
At his peak, Lou Gramm was one of the greatest rock singers of all time!!
If you never seen these guys live, you're missing one HELL of a ROCK N ROLL BAND. Especially in a small bar.❤.
My Blood BOILS! I LOVE FOREIGNER! THESE WERE THE DAYS!! WOW!!
One of the best rock vocalists ever. Great album, great tune.

Lou looks genuinely happy to be there, doing this song... he's the center of attention for sure. Great song!! ❤️🤘
at this period, Foreigner was one of the best rock bands essentially due to LOU GRAMM's so magic voice - he is still a great icon !!!!
Id like to give Mick Jones a lot more praise but he's still getting his with a group based on this one. It's not really the same because it can't be. But he's doing well so I'm cool with it all. But LOU!!!

Luanne and Girl on the Moon are my fave tracks from F4.
Great video. Sweat and passion!! Timeless song, like many Foreignersongs
The G.O.A.T !!!!!
Mark Rivera from Billy Joel’s band. He performed guitar, sax, background vocals… saw the “4” Tour in 1982
Thanks.

Lou Grammy inesquecivel adoro
Only Lou Gramm, is Foreigner for ever.
good song
Who´s the guy in red pants singing such an amazing second voice..!!! Great Video!!!!
@@VCM5 He played guitar too huh? Thought he was purely a sax player.
Who’s the dude with the ‘stache & Tele?
Dontlookatme
When did Freddy Mercury join the foreigner ?
I thought it was John Oates.
I hate it when they rush through the songs. I know why they do it, I just hate that they do.
The energy level is higher in front of the crowd than in a studio. So they're not rushing it. They feel the "rush ". That's Rock n Roll.

This rendition of the song sounds pretty damn good to me.
Drumming is a bit sloppy, but that happens live.
I didn't know Freddy Mercury was in Foreigner.
Pulling high harmony on lou Gramm dam
