Took up the guitar in 1962 after seeing Link Wray and The Raymen do this song in Ocean City, Maryland. Thanks for the memory
I always appreciate a UA-cam guitar teacher that also names the notes, not only the fret names.
No matter what you play, what style, what genre, it always sounds great and has absolute conviction. Love your guitar playing. Always so fluid and natural. And you always play great songs. Thanks!
You can't imagine (well I really think you can) what your postings are doing for us at this point in time. All the best to you. Thank you very much
Well said, nothing to add! 😉
Yes! :)
Greetings from Coronavarious isolation Greece. Through the various breaking news your videos are the best cure....
Easily the best tutorials out there, great attention to details, while remaining very simple to follow. Thanks.
Thanks! It’s those small nuances that make the difference. There’s more to Link Way’s style than people realize. 🎸
Hope you are healthy as well as your family. Thanks for keep uploading videos. Greetings from México.
Day 3 of a 4 week lockdown in New Zealand and this is a godsend. Desperate for something new to learn that is enough of a challenge while being achievable and fun to play. This is perfect, your lessons are perfect and your timing is impeccable. Thank you, Adrian.
Thank you! This brought me a little bit of sunshine and joy. I`m going to have a blast learning/playing this.
You have a fantastic skills and GREAT taste in music. Rock on!
You always make me wanna pick up my guitar and learn something new!
You are so cool, I love the way teach and you prove how easy it can be. I've been playing fo 50 years and learn cool stuff from you a lot. Thanks
Dude!!!!!!!!!...Thanks so much for your content and keeping us challenged! Always love the variety of your content!
Nice one ready to try it out. Keep em coming Adrian. Mate and I have improved so much since we discovered your beginners lessons a few weeks ago.
Brilliant lesson! Cheers Adrian! Much appreciated!
I love playing this song. It's my favourite in my playlist. Brand new cadillac is another - both learnt through your lessons. Thank you
Spot on Adrian, many thanks for this. Great to see the Vox again. You looked as though you were enjoying playing that more than ever. Cooler than cool.
Great video! Anyone else notice how the beginning of the solo is basically the intro to God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols? So cool to track musical evolution through the years...
You're lessons are my favorite. You choose such great songs. Thank you. I'm becoming a patreon subscriber.
Wow, that was great, Adrian. I always wonder what you'll have for us on Friday morning, and I sure never saw this one coming, but it absolutely hit the spot!
Really enjoyed that 'ragged' performance, sounded like you did too. 😁🎸👍
Ok ... almost speechless lol ... I have the Eastwood Link Wray Tribute guitar that has the front/back art work by Vince Ray which now hangs next to the framed “Rumble” full size movie poster .... they only made 20 of these guitars so its a collector item .... you are excellent btw ... love your UA-cam clips ... I am into playing Reverend guitars .... keep on keeping on !!!
The best cover I've heard on Raw Hide!
wow! one of my favorites! Thanks Adrian!
Great way to end another difficult week. Thanks so much!!!!
Link Wray is the man!!
Link Wray is a bottomless well of cool. So goooooood. Lots of great guitar playing just learning his music.
Oh dam you just brought back memories of me and my mate back in the early 80 playing that style in his bedroom on our fender champs for up to 45 min a song . Untill now ihad no idea it was a link wray rip off how little we new then .
Adrian, great lesson. I love your teaching. And I love that Vox! Peace
Excellent work. Thank you.
Nothing like playing a little Link Wray to put a smile on your face.
Really enjoying these Link Wray songs! :)
Wicked....bloody loved it.
You are really good at both presentation and teaching content.
I needed that. Thanks.
Great, Link had so many great tracks - also love his backing for Marvin Rainwater 'Boo hoo' and Bunker Hill 'The Girl can't dance' which is so heavy it makes Little Richard sound like Enya.
1:38 on the verge of moving your arm like Townshend!
Somewhere, Link Wray and Elvis are having a celestial brew and looking down on this; they wink at each other and smile...
Were they buddies?
Why would Elvis be interested?
Link Wray and Chuck Berry?
Another blinder, Adrian! I love teaching this song. Link Wray rocks! Stay safe...
Fun, cool and aggressive, also sweet as f...
Nice one Adrian 🤠🎙🎸✅

This is the kind of lesson that we need in these times of pandemics.
a king of guitar teaching, so cooool gear man
Love It Thank You.
Adrian, your playthrough of this is turning out like your playthrough of the solo from Moonage Daydream--another one that I just kept wanting to watch over and over because it was so exhilarating.
Great lesson man, thanks
Thank you, Adsrian!! And...that guitar is the BOMB!! Cheers, mate!! :)

A Rocketship ride this Rythm lesson, as usual stay safe Damian & thanks alot...!
You are one of the most well rounded players I've ever seen.
You remind me of James Burton.
I dont know if you are a professional sessions artist.
If not you should be in the studio getting paid.
Fabulous. I'll have a crack at this later today; learning new tunes certainly helps beat the Corona Blues (there must be a song in there) :-0)

That’s a lovely guitar!
Thanks for this video. BTW: V Cool Guitar!

Great track and great lesson Adrian. Steve Jones must have heard this as GSTQ had a definite echo of bits of this!
Super cool song!
Excellent 😎
Well, I guess I have to go bust out my Eastwood Link Wray Twin Tone. I love this stuff!!!
good choice, equipment, and performance.
This is worth it just for the chords. Thanks again.
Thanks again ! Stay Safe.
Love it! You do come up with some fantastic left-field choices at times - keep it up
Thanks Adrian for this bright upbeat song. Just what the doctor ordered. I have a lesson request for Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas. Cheers!
I am DEFINITELY learning this one 😁;0)
Brilliant.
Another fantastic vid! You do the best tutorials on the planet. Just curious, do you play any Sensational Alex Harvey Band? Perhaps 'Faith Healer'?
YES!
rock and roll cures most viruses. nice one Adrian
You should do some krautrock lessons! You have a great teaching style and a great taste in music so I'm sure you'd have no problem putting a Can or Neu! lesson together. Keep up the good work!
Fuck ya! Primitive is my second name. Finally I can play entire song. Should return back to Patreon for this backing track.
I'm sure Link Wray was an influence for them, but hearing this made me think of early Jesus and Mary Chain. I could superimpose the lyrics to a few of their songs on top of this.
COOL!
Instrumental rock tends to be overlooked these days
Please Adrian more Link Wray!!
Cheers from Italy
Link Wray and old school rock-n-roll = like :)
Please make an Elliot Smith lesson. For example, Condor Ave.
You go man who cares if it was ragged still excellent.
Cool
I'll never be able to do this, but man that was good and looked really fun!
You will. I felt the same way when I saw stuff like this but keep practicing the basics, keep working at it and you will get there. I did... and it took a while and I'm far from perfect but...
I was going to say what Barrie said. I don't know if you play at all, but I've been learning for a while, and while I feel frustrated at my progress sometimes, I keep at it, and I'm surprised sometimes when I try something new and find that I can sorta pick stuff up now, or try something I haven't worked on for a long time and I find that I can do it much better than I could last time I tried, because my skills have improved. Now I might not ever play like Adrian, but it's very satisfying and fun to work in that direction!
Another great lesson Adrian. Always loved this tune and always wanted to learn how to play it. It's the perfect remedy for stir crazy blues. What effects, if any, are you using to get that great sound?
Joe, check out the end of the video, he tells the equipment he's using.
Hello
Many thanks for all these lessons,i wanted to suggest "sabre dance" by the toy dolls.
Take care!!
link ray genius
Limited practice time - this and metronome one with strumming and maybe easy rockabilly I can get through.
❤❤
Love it!! What pedals/amp do you use to get that tone? it's probably been answered but to many comments to look through lol
❤️🤯
... another great guitar... VOX, very interesting!
Would love to see you do nick Curran lessons
Please do El Toro!!!
