The longer Xander travels, the more often I can listen to Good Morning. The lower-than-usual octave "good morning" is a common greeting, but it comes very special. This is because the relief of the safe finish of the previous day and the excitement of starting early in the morning shake me calmly at the same time. I love his good morning.

Enjoyed that so much. Editing my own footage there's a weird buffer between me and the experience but watching yours I'm reminded how much effort and human emotion this trip required. Many shots I wish I had got including that underwater spec release...really nice. Confession cam had me rolling

I just started my cancer treatment today, and no one warned me that chemo consists of sitting here for THREE HOURS. Luckily for me I had a shitty pair of Apple earbuds in my backpack. Thank you for this video to distract me while I go through this BS.
Loved the little high five while you ate the rehydrated butter chicken. Grateful to be able to view your awesome outdoor adventures while I’m trapped in a cancer clinic.
But also, thank god for the Canadian healthcare system

these are seriously the type of trips that are planned as a once in a lifetime thing and the morning of day 7 really solidified that. like the fact that the sunrise looked that good could only be in most peoples dreams, or they spend their whole lives trying to get that kind of view and it really puts this whole video in perspective of how great it was 😘

It's so cool watching the dynamic between the 2 of you. On a remote trip, after having an accident that stopped the entire group, a good friend observed that you must change your mindset. Even if you're a strong individual when you travel with others you're only as strong as the least experienced, or slowest, or least confident member. He felt bad as he realized what happened to him impacted the entire group. Nobody criticized or got upset with him, everyone just did what they could to help or waited patiently. The success of the group relies on all members of the group. Even if the group is 2. To watch the 2 of you dealing with adversity, challenges is awesome. No blaming, no chastising, just seamless transition into well that didn't go as planned, how do we deal with this and what do we need to do to keep moving forward. Talk about team building and growing trust in each other, freaking cool. And those challenges faced deepen the rewards you get. A canyon sunrise, the Northern lights, a simple meal. I think the word is overused but this looks to be developing into an epic trip...

1- the paddle which I hope you keep the whole adventure you are showing us now

Can see the passion for boating growing and developing. A feeling that’s hard to describe is the process of moving down a river deep in the wilderness. The absolute nervous, excited energy (called the good kind of fear) when approaching a rapid that’s not totally read and run. The time it takes to scout and put eyes on a whitewater feature from all angels while you wonder should you run it! And then you just go ahead and hit it! No turning back. The boat crosses the eddy line and then you’re off. Nothing better than boating a rapid all the way through, especially with a ledge drop or series of wave trains to punch through. You show that here on the trip so well! Pretty cool and classic boating style. Open canoes without floatation. Such an incredible way to get out there in the wilderness and be fully committed. Nova Craft! OH CANADA! Much respect! A ton goes into boating trips like these not to mention capturing all the action and scenery👍🏼 But I’m sure the portages take no effort at all 🙃

I have a set of paddles like the one you found. The blades are warped on both of them as well 🤷‍♂️
