@@TranTrungVideo He means other great flamencists are on this level but Tomatito ain't one. I'd partially agree, I mean clarity of sound generally isn't exactly what flamenco guitarists are known for (I can say it, I struggle with it too and I can't even dream of entering a speed contest with those guys xD), some techniques even ecnourage a bit of buzz after all. And Flamenco isn't a virtuoso kind of genre (solo guitar flamenco isn't even a thing since it's singing that lies at its center)

There are no worlds to explain the impeccable musicianship and virtuoso performance Celil Refik Kaya, whose hands glide the fingerboard and extract all the delicate harmonies with flawlessly precision and sensibility. I am mesmerized by his left-hand perfect posture that serves like a violin’s bow and allows the right hand the freedom to dazzle us with such dexterity, clarity and tonality. It is quite a feat to play Paganini’s Caprice on the guitar which emulates the fluidity of the fret-less violin fingerboard when playing fast chromatic scales passages. This performance reminds us the instrument that Andres Segovia described as a “miniature orchestra.” I am glad that Andres Segovia’s 1969 Ramirez guitar comes to life by being played by this incredible musician. Thanks for sharing this gem!

This is just further confirmation that anything is possible with the proper technique and, of course, tireless of effort.

You can start using your pinky too, practice rasgueo.. it'll be very useful even if you never play flamenco, your right hand dexterity will increase considerably. Remember to start very slowly, think about the movement carefully. Right hand techniques such as tremolo and rasgueo can get rusty very easily, so it's a good idea to practice them every day.

This man is a rare and extremely gifted talent. He started playing when he was just 6 (six years old!). There is much more "to it" than just practice. You can practice 24 hours a day and never come close to reaching this level of playing. Look at his hands. They were created to perform like this. Also, consider his mind. There resides the greatest, most precious gift of all. Practice, practice, practice, too. You will have no social life. But, without the mental and physical attributes, you'll never even be on the road that leads to the ballpark that sounds "something like" this amazing guitarist. Rock, jazz, steel string acoustic, etc. etc......not even in the same galaxy as this player....and they never will be. I'm not saying there aren't very gifted players in other genres, but this...this is the essence of true guitar. Very few players, if any, could ever come close to this musician.

You're kinda erroneously disencouraging anyone who picks up an activity with a low IQ or physical disadvantages. Who are you to say anyone is incapable of achieving whatever it may be that they'd like to in their lifetime?
I feel you may be projecting your own insecurities about not achieving your own goals, and also telling yourself (likely) you're not able to achieve certain things you truly dedicated yourself to.
This is often justified by self depricating thoughts.
Anyone could do anything if they put their minds too it. Thats what makes us human. The problem is that so few do.
Too many people feel degraded rather than inspired by acts of greatness like this. I hope that will change one day.

I don't care how determined one is or how much time they devote to practice. this is a one in million talent and I was only recognizing that fact. hoping to help some people realize not just "anyone" can attain musicianship on this level. Well we are talking about two different worlds. This is a wonderful performance. It is playing written music in an extraordinary way. Technically speaking the execution of this music is thousands times more difficult than joe pass autumn leaves. But at least in theory if you play jazz you should not only play others music, but you should be able to arrange your own music. Understanding what you are playing and why. The challenge is in your head and ears rather than in your fingers. Your comment makes me believe that you do not have this aspect totally clear in your mind.
