Thank you so, so much for having me! What a treat to play some of the world's best flamenco and classical guitars. And a warm thank you to everyone for listening! Be sure to check out the other pieces from the session. There's more flamenco and classical goodness!
Thankyou for sharing this for us, i enjoyed it very much! I've got a pile of washing up to do and it was so lovely it helped me get the volition to get started. Trying not to get dishwashing suds on the phone haha. Hang in there all you beautiful people, things will look up. And if it takes a while, well at least we still have music to soothe our weary souls. 🎼 Bravo!
Thank You for this great performance with a fantastic classical interpretation ! What makes it special is the balance between expressive parts and virtuosity, masterly played.
Top drawer young man! You play with great accuracy and passion. You're a testament to the great guitar tradition of the Americas. May it live long and flourish, even in these turbulent times!
you know what I like this guy, his nails are so small, but he has all the tone he could ever need, something I've been trying to master, Bravo to him or to whoever taught him nail shape.
OK, it’s a GVR guitar, which means it’s great. That’s fine. The magic here is in the guitarist. This guy really, really good. Please keep featuring him in your video series.
Really nice! Also great interpretations of Rondo Brillante performed by Stefan Volpp, Sabrina Vlaskalic, Drew Henderson and others. Each one in a bit different mode. Very interesting to compare.
Its great to have a solid classical foundation but... its too "typical" amongst stereo types when it comes to playing classical music. You've become a "dime a dozen". What you need to to do is break out of the eggshell you're in. Put a a stamp on who you are as a musician. To stand out!!! Now i suggest you study and learn BossaNova. If you havent...study brazilian rythmic patterns and the samba beats with 16 beat variations. Look up Francesco Buzzurro to start.
Its a classical piece, there's only so many ways you can play it keeping the style. I think he had great articulation, color and dynamics. Definitely more energy than most guitarists.
@@rich_guitar he played it perfectly so i dont have to show how its done. Im just saying that.. to me...he's just as good as any even better than many...but....classical is classical. Imagine kicking it up a notch. For instance you take Charlie Byrde who is a great Jazz guitar player. He then started studying other styles of music and took his sound to another level. Thats all. Classical music is a great foundation to pave way to higher dimensions. Nothing personal or insulting if thats how you see it.
@@sheldonamante9498 Hello there, it is I, Edward! I really appreciate your input, and I even agree. It's incredibly important to delve into various styles in hopes to create something newer, more flavorful, and more informed. You'd be happy to know that this is the only Classical period solo piece that I've ever learnt. I actually love playing flamenco, jazz, pop, contemporary music, vocal arrangements, etc. And yes, this flurry of skills does positively influence my playing. So you are right! I recorded a couple flamenco pieces by El Viejín for this GSI session as well. You would like them if you enjoy Brazilian music! Again, thank you so much for listening :~>

@@edzmuda6870 nope, just a random dude that thinks the young fella plays great and that he has a similar taste to mine in repertoire.
@@edzmuda6870 he also doesn't need any help via weird shady tactics, im certain they will showcase his talent any time he drops by.
At last!! I've been waiting for this for a long time 👏👏👏

Born 8 April 1784 in Madrid Spain.
Mozart was 18 and touring Italy.
Edward Frank Martinez keeps them both alive.
Masterful.
Sehr gut gespielt, bravo
I can play that piece, about 30 minutes(varies), I see that i need to fix some of my fingerings. It is a tough bugger, but so nice.
What a performance.
Perfect

Nice job spotting that. So I guess they can put together the best of several takes.
@@LFUFMNX exactly, but that's cheating for me :) but sounds great
se les quedó el afinador en el clavijero de la guitarra cuando hacen cambios de tomas :)
