For anybody wondering how these Scammers actually make money off of this. They sell the Gift Cards/Gift Card Accounts on the black market for actual cash. To a decent person, selling a Gift Card worth $100 for $80 seems like a loss, but to a Scammer, this is pure profit as they won't have originally paid ANYTHING for the Gift Card. I felt the need to mention this here as - to my knowledge - she doesn't mention this aspect in the video.
The PROBLEM is the gift cards, by making ID a requirement at every STAGE this could be STOPPED systemically.
Tracible money? So basic right to earnings and privacy.
I have an alternative.
Put the cards in locked locations accessible only to the employees.
Totalitarian actions only imprison and control people. No thanks.

They scammed me with $600 gift card, thinking they were really an official website. It was a bad experience, and new to me.

When scamners call and ask you to urchase a gift card for: to PAY for a lottery you didn't enter, a IRS tax you need to pay before you go to jail, etc. Ask them WHATS MY NAME ? Usually they don't have your name and if they do, say where do I live? THEY NEVER KNOW BECAUSE THEY GET YOYR NAME ONLINE. Thats all they have. They cannot cancel your Social Security number thats impossible. HANG UP!!!! NEVER GIVE ANY INFO AS U WILL BE ON THEIR SUCKER LIST.

This is most always an inside job of store you bought it at .the one im talking about is when you buy a legit gift card at store and dont check immediately to check the number on reciept matches the number and amount you purchased . Inside store scammers have put it back on shelf and know when its bought so they can register it to a name and steal the value of the card . Because they already scratched and replaced the coating
