I am blown away, my first concert was these guys opening for kiss in 1979. just wow, always loved these guys.

1977 for me, but yes, Kiss was the headliner. They blew Kiss away in volume. Great show, great songs, never heard of 'em. Bought their first (only) album after that.

Holy cow - rockin' song! Wouldn't be out of place as a single on one of their albums 40 years ago. I just want to point out that three of the guys on that stage are around 70 years old ... yet they're still rocking just as hard with a new song as just about any band out there today. Really enjoyed that...

I hate to inform some of you people but when you get old you look old. You don’t stay young forever. Christ! I suggest the ones with issues of Aging just die young so you don’t have to worry about getting or looking old.

@@infoblack4455 I couldn’t agree with you more. I just get tired of hearing people whine about how old the band members look. 😡 I had to get that off my chest! Apparently some people think when you hit a certain age you’re worthless and you shouldn’t do anything. But yes I thought they sounded fab and they looked great also!
Wow, Robin's voice still sounds great. Love the new song. Any Cheap Trick album is always worth a listen.

Say what you want about Daxx, but I think he's a fantastic drummer. I miss Bun as much as anyone but at least they brought in a guy with talent, and you couldn't find someone more connected than a member's son. Rock on, Daxx🤘

Do yourself a favor and check out the You Tube video of their performance of "Gimme Back My Bullets" during Lynyrd Skynyrd's "One More For the Road" performance. Great concert and kudos to all the performers, but Cheap Trick's performance was one of the standouts that night. I'd provide the link but apparently YT won't permit it (who knows why?). Enjoy!

I saw these guys in 1977. I caught one of Rick Neilsen's picks. I had a Cheap Trick t-shirt that I wore until it looked like spider web. I love this band.

Glad to see the next generation, assisting the original members that are still present. Loved the “Bun” miss him but kinda understand. Keep rock’n Rockford’s best!!! I’ll be waiting to buy tickets again, if possible! Checking out, eastern Iowa.

If you haven't, buy 'The Rockford' album 2006 and this new one I'll get somewhere.
The Rockford Album along with Ray Davies release in 2006 proved that Rock will never die.
I have their Christmas Album so I'm crossing my fingers Cheap Trick's newest will be the best yet.
I bought the álbum there are so Many gems in it. Loved the title Sony in another world and the rock songs. The last song "gimme truth" sounds like a Lennon song. Get the álbum, won't regret it. Hello from old México! Daxx is an excelente drummer!!!

Rick Neilson is a great guy! I saw them a thousand years ago when they just started getting known and caught one of Ricks guitar picks that he throws to the audience. 30 years later I had a chance to see them perform Sargeant Pepper for a charity event. I went up to Rick after the show and told him the story of seeing them all those years ago and catching that pick. He was so gracious and took a picture with me and my wife and then gave me another guitar pick. It’s great when your heroes live up to your expectations. Love Cheap Trick,

The opening part was the theme song Baby Muggles written by Cheap Trick for the Colbert Report.

I saw Cheap Trick July 3, 1976 at Summerfest with Peter Frampton, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Gary Wright, Steve Miller, Supertramp, Triumph, Zebra......There was Bun E., high up on the riser above them all, raining down the thunder. His masterful playing laying down the groove melding with and covering the parochial efforts of the bass and infusing life into the crude chording. Spontaneous, ,inspired, machine like, cohesive kind of drumming that sends shivers up the spine. C.T. just don't serve up the same deli style flavor sandwich with no Bun in the oven. PUT THE BUN BACK IN THE OVEN!!!

oops made mistake I have liked them since 79. they have been my fav for a long time, reminding of my of the beatles as well. Robin does have the voice of an angel and Rick plays great. Sorry to here about Tom but glad he got to play. Dax plays drums great. Glad though when I saw them get in ducted in Hall of fame that Bun E Carlos was there playing. He was part of them for a long time.

I can still remember the first time I heard them: it was 1979 in San Antonio and some guy put on "Surrender". I could not get enough. I have seen them live and they are electric. After seeing this, I would see them again. Robin and Rick, if you read this come out to San Diego this summer. The Observatory is a great venue.
