So don't ever stop. You can always skate you just have to slow down and cruise. I just kick and glide,I love sliding down hills and carving banks its all about flow brother, the older you get the smoother you get.
I ruined my knees sometime in my 20's and I am the same age as you now. I skated up until about 3 yrs ago when it became too painful. In spite of this, I keep thinking about getting out on my board but rolling around isn't enough for me mentally, based on what I know I was capable of. Man I remember watching him in the first skate video I ever saw in 1993 of Birdhouse Ravers on some copied shitty vhs tape and the little kid was a ripper! One of the great for sure.
Drew Biggah yeah and I don’t think he looks at it this was but by doing it over and over again to get it right he’s getting those tricks down stuff on lock because he’s practicing
I never realized how critical he is with his own skating. In my opinion, that's what makes him so amazing. Even after he was in THPS I never thought like "o lame he's only on hype cause he was in the game"....the stuff he throws himself down and the fact that he can do it over and over and over to get it to his standards really makes him a mind blowing skater.

As someone who is diagnosed with, and have similiar tendencies when I skate, I am almost positive he has OCD. the difference in wanting a better clip, vs not wanting to leave and even come back to get the better clip shows soo much of a compulsivity.

After 7 plus years of rolling, still landed a heelflip, fake inward heel, front side board, front side, backside shovits including fakie, cabs and fs bs 180s. The board with independent trucks and bones with redlines best day ever. I was skating since the birdhouse vid with Reynolds,mc crank and Santos. Sick vid.
