thank you for this!! so simple and straightforward!! did you carry the white yarn in the back like a float, or are you using two different ends?
I’m did not carry it. I had a separate bobbin of cream on the other side. If you want to carry the yarn, I have a good tutorial that explains how to do that- How to Hide Yarn in Tapestry Crochet

got it, thank you so much for your help! :)@@CozyNooksDesigns
GAME CHANGER AWARD!!!! Thank You!
Genius! I love these crochet tips makes it feel like a real community!
Yay! Love the crochet community. Glad you found it helpful. ❤
Can you do a video on how to do the color changes on the wrong side of the graphgan? I am struggling.
Thank you, your explanation was so simple and straightforward it made me see my mistakes without someone else showing them. I now know how to fix them going forward. Thank you, again!
I’m glad to hear it helped you! ❤️👏
I have been wracking my brain trying to figure this out. Thank you!
This has been so helpful on my journey of learning new crochet patterns. Thank you so much! Looking forward to watching all your content.
Had just watched another video showing how to do a yarn under but didn't explain if it was for alternating rows etc & I was getting totally confused as have been watching a few similar, all with different ways to make a better stitch to make my work look better & have felt like giving up.. until I just watched this.. thank you so much for your simple clear info.. just what I needed ❤
I'm so happy to hear that this helped you! ❤ Thank you for the kind words!
Wow I needed to see this I’m starting to do more risky things and this tip is so helpful ❤
I'm glad this helped you!
WOW thank you so much I was confused and wasn’t coming out right thank you so much for sharing 🥰😊👌
Hi Rachel, I am new today and I am so happy I stumbled across this video about yarning under. I am working on my first graphgan and this is going to come in very handy for this. Wish I new before I started it because it is Lightning McQueen race car and have several bobbins and black and white checks. Thank you for sharing. Cindy❤
Glad you like it! You may also like this video - ua-cam.com/video/6RLrJZNLWPA/v-deo.html which shows how to hide colors when your crocheting over them.
So informative, thank you Rachel! Nice to find you here on youtube!😉😁
Girl thank u so much your exactly who I needed
I am not liking how my color changes are a mess in this blanket
I’m trying your method right. Ow thank u

I had this question too.
Thank you. I'm from Brazil
Thanks for watching! My sis-in-law is from Brazil 😊
This was very clear thank you very helpful I'd like to try and start doing some of this and this is a very good tip before I get started
Glad you found it helpful! I also have a video called 3 Common Mistakes in Tapestry Crochet (ua-cam.com/video/V_S9NyfgDSQ/v-deo.html) that's a good one to check out before starting. :)
Thanks so much for the video, it answered exactly the questions I had 🥰🥰
Wow! Looks so clean!
thank you! ❤
That's interesting ... Do you use YU on both wrong and right side? Tks for sharing!
I love your video.can you do another video on how to work the backside with the color changes?
Thank you! And I actually have a video of how I work the wrong side for color changes. ua-cam.com/video/6RLrJZNLWPA/v-deo.html You don’t have to do it this way, but it really helps hide the color.
Great tip and concise video! Thanks for posting! 😃🧶
Thank you very much.❤️
Can you do a video on how to join the yarn in color changes.i love your video.

Glad you found it helpful!
Excelente!👏🧶
thank you! ❤
Love love
I watched as you did the yarn under how do you change coming back on the wrong side??
Thankyou so much for this...on tbe next row would you garn under or over?? 🙏
I yarn under for all of my color changes. So yes on the next row too. 🩷
Thank you for this video.
I watched the video that you sent me but i don't carry my colors.i was wondering if you can do another video on yarn under on the backside.i am doing intarsia single crochet graphgan.
I’ve been meaning to do a video like that. I will put that on my list!
This is so nice way to color change. Does this work when crocheting say, 4 Rows of the same color, then changing to a different color say at the end of the fourth row. Then color changing to the next color? I really would like to know because the transition of this is perfect. if you could let me know that would be great it's so would change how I crochet my blankets in the future.❤
You can yarn under for the end of rows, but it doesn't have a big benefit like it does mid-row. I do stop mid-stitch before the end of the row and complete the stitch with the new color though. ❤
Hi Rachel I just found your channel I am from Saint James Missouri hello neighbor greetings from my channel to yours
Thanks but can you make a full tutorial on the bunny pillow?
do you yarn under for the rest of the stitches or only for the color changes?
Only for the color change portion. 🩵
So why am i getting some people saying to use only the tail yarn for the first stitch after you change colors? Is this correct or does it make a difference?
I have never heard of that before! I would not do that for tapestry crochet. You would quickly run out of yarn. Watch this video for tips if you are trying to hide the yarn you're not using - ua-cam.com/video/6RLrJZNLWPA/v-deo.html
@@CozyNooksDesigns well no just use the tail for the first single crochet and then change to the working yarn is what they said 🤷🏻♀️
I really need to see the back of your work, because it appears that you have two different strands of white. I cannot hear, I can only see, so if you SAID it in the video, I cannot hear you. Thank you.
Yes there are 2 different strands of white in that video.
ua-cam.com/video/UK-gJhnPfjI/v-deo.htmlm44s here is a video that shows how to do tapestry crochet when on the wrong side. ❤
Would be nice to see the backside stitches too. I am assuming you drop the color not being used and pick up the other, but I really don't know because you didn't show us the turn and working the back. So this is just a partial lesson on how to do it. Tons of these out there and leave people hanging in the questions.
I value making my videos short and concise, so that is why I didn't show the backside. Yes, I just picked the yarn back up on the backside of the piece. This video was for when to yarn under, not an exhaustive video on how to intarsia crochet. ❤
@@CozyNooksDesigns Do you have a video showing the full use in a piece? Front and back.
@@Val-ee4hd ua-cam.com/video/UK-gJhnPfjI/v-deo.htmlm44s here is a more comprehensive video showing a full piece front and back.
@@CozyNooksDesigns Thanks :)
