i have always been hesitant to try this out since i learnt to crochet, but this is the best tutorial. great demo, excited to try this out! tysm!
I could cry at how happy I am to have found this video thank you for the tips!
Excellent video! Very clear easy to understand instructions without a lot of filler words and random rambling. Thank you!
Apples are my go-to fruit all year, but i do love watermelon, cantelope, and honeydew chunks in a bowl as a summer snack. 🎉🎉⚘️💜💚💙
Such excellent instructions! Thank you!
Your tips are super helpful! Thank you so much!
Great video, but I am a bit confused as to what is the right and wrong side of the work. The piece on which I am presently working has the right side working from right to left on the pattern, so should the yarn be on the back of the piece in this case? It would be so helpful to me if you could clarify this . Thanks so very much and have a great day.
I have been looking everywhere for a tutorial like this one. Very clear information, to the point. Thank you very much!! Helped me a LOT
Thank you so much I been messing for three days and looking for a video just like this
this is such a clear video i need to start doing this on my graphagn i have started
This is my favorite way too! Great tutorial!
When you are done with the project what do you do with all the access yarn that were being swapped with?
so i always have to drop the yarn i was working with to the front when i‘m changing colors? like ALWAYs always? despite my confusion with those specific question, this was SO helpful 🥹 can‘t wait to finally try this out!
Yes, exactly! I hope you have fun 😊
@@WillowCrochet thank you, i just started, first color change looks absolutely great already😌
You can technically float the yarn behind, or crochet over it to carry it but I wouldn't recommend doing it very far at all. Those are different techniques though, but I combine this technique with occasionally carrying the yarn through when it will just be a few stitches away that I use it again.
This was so helpful thank you!
Great video! Quick question: can I crochet over the loose ends of new colours rather than leaving them dropped to weave in after the project is completed?
Thanks so much for this! It was very helpful. Is there a way to color change while working in the round? Or does this also work in the round?
So I can drop m yarn always to the front? I’ve seen other videos saying it always has to be on the “wrong/back side” of work so sometimes you have to drop yarn at back or front depending on what side is facing you. Now I’m confused haha
Thank you for this lovely insightful video. Your projects are always so beautiful 💖💖 . Well done. I would like to try my hands at working with graphs... when doing Graphghan Crochet or Tapestry Crochet, do you have always turn your work at the end of each row??? It can be quite confusing getting familiar/understanding the differences with Graphghan Crochet, Tapestry Crochet and Intarsia Crochet. THANK YOU for your help 😊😊
Great and clear video although I don’t do graphgans, thank you! However, does this work with amigurumi that are worked in rounds? Or is it just unnecessary for amigurumi as one side of the piece would be hidden?
Wait I'm confused why you drop the color you're not using in the front! I only do that on the wrong side of the work, is that wrong?
Thank you, very imformative.
Well done, very good, I wonder if you will add Turkish subtitles, please, I'm waiting, please help.
Have you tried the auto-translate subtitles? I don't know how accurate they are but click on settings > subtitles > autotranslate and then select your language.

Awesome dear i love your knowledge and way of teaching🥰
Thank you, this helps so much
Glad it helped!
Thank yo,thank you thank you!
Soo I'm working on a tapestry graphgan ish and it has around 8 color changes in one row a total of 12 different colors, and repeat colors in one wrong, any tips ? Since cant carry it or hide 5 colors ?
I love the way you change colors.is it normal for graphgans to come out zig zaggy when colors are changed?
Yes, they do a little bit!
Why do some drop the working yarn in the back and the front? What is the difference? Thanks
What about when the color changes don't line up from row to row? Keep adding more yarn?
Sure sounds like it. I forgot about this method. I've been carrying my yarn , but I think I shouldn't for my next project
Hi. I’m new to this, if I have 29 color changes ( technically only 2 colors) in a row, do I need 29 working yarns?
Does the entire project only use 2 colors? Or is it just that one row?
@@WillowCrochetMy project has 2 colors in 20 rows. Should I carry or use bobbins?
What shpuld i do when its more then 3colors
Question! I have a star wars millennial falcon blanket I'm doing. It has 3 clones that interchange constantly, but the project requires me to chain and turn at the end of each row. How to I do multiple colors while keeping it neat? For instance, it'll have me do 50 black sc, 3 light grey sc, 2 dark grey sc, 1 medium grey sc, 3 dark grey sc, 2 light grey sc, 1 medium sc, etc...how do I possibly keep the image clean and neat on one side while change colors so frequently? Any tips?
how many ends does this leave to weave in?
Quite a lot but it will depend on the complied the design you’re making.
I always worry the colour changes in my graphgans aren’t secure… how likely are they to come undone?
I’ve never had one come undone, just make sure you’re weaving the ends in properly 😊
Anytime I'm adding a new colour I make a slip knot and pull it through the loop ,does anyone else do that?
@@angelmoore4705I do that as well
I'm still learning different methods, so it's unclear to me, this is the bobbin method?
Yes, that’s right 😊
Oh my god I’ve always dropped the yarn on the wrong side and now I find out I was doing it wrong😭😭
It might be a long shot but I'm wondering how you would do a color change by pulling a color that on the previous row is on the right hand side of your stitching? Not sure if this makes sense but if my pattern has like... O being the light cream color and X being the darker brown C being a green color...
5 OOOOO
4 OOXOO
3 OXCXO
2 OOXOO
1 OOOOO
(Its a sort of plus sign?)
im on the 4th row and the brown from the 3rd row is to the right of my stitching. I couldn't really carry it through the cream because its up a row and also darker? If i pull that brown up, there's not really a way to hide it, it just kindof makes a line behind the work and I'm trying to make a blanket. Would I have to make a separate litte pile of my brown yarn for movement on a diagonal like that? It was easy for going at an angle on the other side, but now there's nowhere for me to hide the brown. Sorry if this is a bit complicated! I'm very new to this type of crochet! If anyone can help I'd be super grateful! This channel has been a must have for learning how these complicated color changes work, so thank you for the tutorial video!

Entiendo que para amigurumis no valdrá esta técnica
This was very helpful, thank you!
