Hey is it possible Dinosaurs were still alive during the 1500’s ? Or is this painting from the 16th century just too good to be true? When i first saw the "dinosaurs" i thought they looked more like camels.

That's a painting by Pieter Bruegel. Almost every single one of his paintings have mythical creatures or something strange happening in the back. His paintings are famous for that reason. This painting is real and those are not camels. He just put something strange in the back ,again . It doesn't mean that those strange things in his paintings were there or that they ever existed. His other paintings had eggs with legs and faces, flying Nessie, dragons, walking skeletons, demons and some really strange creatures ... He liked to morph animals and humans creating very strange beings that never existed. You can search his other paintings and you will see something strange in the back. He was a head of his time.

Those are likely Elephants, the long things are just the trunk, and since the arts back in the day are still very early, the artist is not that good at painting it resulting in misinterpretation to us right now

Unreal. You can't tell a Camel. :). Spotted it early. If the Artis had seen a dinosaur like that, even a young one, he would have portrayed the legs bigger.
The fake wolf, spotted that it breathed and it's body keeps twisting with breathing, but the head doesn't move, and it should. The angle allows it be done multiple ways.
The “Jackolope” one made me laugh because the horns looked like it was photo shopped

If this was painted in 1562, then the world doesn't even know dinosaurs even existed, because the first dinosaur fossil was discovered in 1824. So I say that they tried to depict a camel, but ended up making what people who can't rise from their gaming chairs belive, were Brontosaurasus

Yeah I think he knows that picture is BFF, but he probably wanted to include it nonetheless just so that he could do that methodology explaination at the end for the kids.
Take a look at the legs of the "dinosaurs", they look long. Not only that, they don't have a tail in the painting. So yeah, the thing that those were camels seems like a good explanation, I guess.
People back then thought, dinosaur bones were dragons. But dragons, but explain these dinosaurs. Some dinosaurs could’ve survived became dragons attacked people and the dragons were killed into extinction by knights and hunters and I think that’s how the myth got started. My theory is dragons used to exist, but work hunted into extinction by knights and hunters.

I personally don't 100% think it's a dinosaur, but i also don't think it's a camel or an elephant. It's probably either a whole new species of animal, a weird transportation in the shape of an animal or just a piece of fictional artwork by the artist. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what i personally believe.

It’s a known fact that Medieval artists are terrible at drawing animals. The painting has not been tampered with but that does not mean it shows dinosaurs. It most likely shows terribly drawn horses or llamas or camels.
You’ll have to ask yourself, is it fake or do you want it to be fake in order to preserve your current view of world. That’s fine with me but don’t bring it as fact.
Personally I don’t believe them to be camels. Pieters depth and scale is quite good for his time and in other paintings he actually has painted camels which he depicts quite differently.
Apart from that there are numerous civilizations depicting dinosaurs, why is that when they were supposed to be nothing more than skeletons?
And we have skeletal remains of extremely large humanoids. All the arguments about scale are reaching.

The exact size of these creatures seem to suggest a Magyarosaurus, which is a dwarf sauropod of about 6 and a half feet tall at the hips... these creatures could've been used like horses to ride in battle and would've seemed quite intimidating, but probably not quite as quick and agile as a horse.

Those brontosaurus are smaller than and the older ones. My theory is this artist, probably saw dragon bones, which were dinosaur bones by the way, and put it in the artwork.
