Hello Grim. Another fine video. I do wish there was some way to get my hot little paws on a few suits of the Ghost Bears' suits. Something like that would be valuable as a semi-cheap way to defend planets and cities.
Battle Armor and Protomechs are some of my favorite aspects of Battletech because they open so many possibilities. I compare Battle Armor to 40K Power armor and Protomechs to Dreadnaughts and Knights. They fit pretty well.
Bro it goes to show too that they are so close. The crazy part is though this aspect of armor and protos are way faster. So u see an elemental and its fast with genetic soldiers and they can take a hit from a mechs (las cannon) med to Lg laser and still move. Its crazy to think this might have been the golden age before dark night in warhammer lore. It would explain why other races couldnt fight when u field an army of mechs and battle suits that move fast enough to outrun most species and the ability to level city's
@@cody1570 Logically extrapolating the possibilities of Battletech's advancement leads to some...interesting results. Their genetic mastery is...absurd, possibly even more so than that of the Imperium which can barely contained it's mutant population much less have a mass produce and functional Panaceas. Its possible it could even surpass that of the Homunculi Cults of the Druhkari due to the fact that the Druhkri merely manipulate the genes not make new ones. Battletech literally resurrected Dinosaurs from existing genetic material, they have crossbred and even created new animals in the case of the Totem Animals of the Clans. Its absurd. Not to mention the level of terraforming they have surpasses anything the Imperium has. Its crazy.
Hi. It's good to see more than battlemechs (but I still think they are the kings of battletech). I'm waiting for a video talking about the concept of protomechs or properly of a protomech itself (I don't see it in the channel). Almost speak about aerospace fighters. I'm new in the channel but it's one of my favorites (especially if you understand that I don't speak much English). Thanks for all.
Yo!Grimmy. Love yout vids! I play 40k and battle tech. Both are great games. I'm a yank and FYI we know what a ton is,what you need to do is stop using that archaic metric system and get on board and up to time and go with imperial weight and measures. You know pounds and inches and feet. Hey keep up the great work and keep the vids coming! Take care and be safe
I really do think that the quality of the fluff in BT falls apart around the Jihad era. I get that some people really like it and all, but it just doesn't resonate to me.
Here is a good question if hypothetically I sent the Thunder-Warriors to "negotiate" with Russia, China, North Korea & the Middle East, then told them to head north and take a nap,......can I claim the title of Peace Maker?
