We sound like twins! I also have severe osteoarthritis and a torn rotator cuff. I’m trying to make it through summer before having my surgery. I’m so worried about not being able to workout during the lengthy recovery process. I’m 55 and have consistently exercised throughout my adult life. I’m afraid of gaining weight and losing even more muscle…. Getting old sucks!
@@sbakes1577 Wow, we should keep in touch! I finally went to get X-rays last week and they said it is the most severe they have seen. I, too, am trying to make it as long as I can. I have had both hips replaced and that wasn't bad at all, but I know that shoulders take a longer recovery.😞Keep moving your arm around! I actually have less pain now than I had last month, because I am still doing resistance band and dumbbells with PJ. And the one where you sit against a wall with your arms like goal posts and lift them up and down along the wall (ouch! but effective). Getting old truly sucks. Are you having a hard time with pain at night?

So let’s keep meeting on the mat at least until you’re 63 and I’m 83. Hey, why not? Today’s push-ups weren’t pretty, but I still liked the whole workout. Push-ups, eh? More to come in June? 👍 👍 Tough one, but I feel so good now, even though I always feel like this type of workout highlights my weak areas. I liked the third circuit the best. I used yoga blocks for the mountain climbers. Gave me just the lift I needed. Blood pumping +heart rate up + muscles primed and ready = Happier mood? Oh, yeah. I love that kind of math. 😊 Thanks, PJ!❤
