I went to Jakarta international school back in the late 80s. Bali was a gem back then. Uluwatu was our surf spot. There was literally nothing in Uluwatu. We had to make our way down thru the brush to surf all day. Epic times back then! Uluwatu is like a city now 😢 crazy development.
Nice video! Lived in Ulu for 4 months, because I hate Canggu!😂 You missed Chela (restaurant) and The Space (Coworking and Yoga), two really nice places I spend a lot of time at. For food I recommend Rolling Fork, Laggas, The Cashew Tree! Dreamland beach is also my favourite! What people should also know is that Canggu is fucked with traffic and Ulu is busy but you'll never wait in traffic. That's probably the best part of it. Air quality is probably worse in Canggu than in Ulu.
wow, it looks so cool. I went to Uluwatu only twice. once to Dreamland Beach then to Savaya. next time I should explore that area more. I think it's a good place to escape from the hassle and bustle of Canggu for a few days.
Love your videos Joose! Id love to live there and do videos of life in Bali one day. Hoping to make my move soon! Until then I’m just visiting for 3 weeks a year. I have a couple friends who live there. So cool to see all the places I recognize and new places I haven’t been yet too! Keep it up! Cheers!
Absolutely loved the video!! And guess who's back in the love game haha. So stoked to see you two give it another shot-life's too short not to take risks and chase happiness, right? Wishing you both even stronger love this time round 💪🏼
So happy to see your gf back, she still looks cute LOL* Thanks for sharing Uluwatu update! Still looks beautiful, eventhough so much construction atm. Really love the Uluwatu vibes kinda combination between Canggu and Seminyak 💙 FYI* Klapa Resort is the 1st resort in Dreamland beach area. I've visited there in 2014 when it started build, so its almost 10 years 👏 Suksme 🙏
Hello. I really like all of your videos. I have 2 questions: 1. How long is the walk from Clappa resort to Dreamland beach? And how long to other beaches? 2. Did you need any special permit for driving with scooter in Bali? Thank you :)
Hmm I'd choose Uluwatu for permanently because it's still in Bali so everything works well and there's everything close by. I love Siargao but so far it's still so small and remote that I'd not feel so good living there long term. Some people do tho, if you like to live simple, it might work out well!
Do you drink alcohol? I’m in the UK and been drinking too much and feeling depressed - would love to move to Bali and try and get a sober: healthy lifestyle!
I don't, or only few times during the last 3 years. Stopped drinking 5 years ago after frinking way too much in uni. Changed my life, highly recommended :)
@@michaeldoring270 depends what ylu want out of it! If you just wanna travel and see lot of different things, you should stay few nights in the hubs like Canggu, Uluwatu, Ubud, maybe Nusa Penida/Gilis
Hopefully Uluwatu doesn't turn into a version of Canggu. Seems like everyone wants to compare it to Canggu, why not let Uluwatu be its own thing and own vide.
What's the place called you had that Bintang? It's not the Ritual, is it? Nice vid though - and BTW I don't think you speak too fast. Talking slower would make the vid longer and it wouldn't be you 😏🙌
Bali is Paradise Lost. Poor infrastructure, and influx of rude tourists. I lived there for 12 years and bailed. The island is sinking under too much 'Batako'
Nice to see your beautiful girlfriend back! Just some friendly advice....practice slowing down your speech. It is way too fast to comprehend at times. It's a matter of practice.
Not as you think. I am from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but every tourist, whether European or Arab, must be respectful and avoid intruders. Do not misunderstand.😊😊😊😊😊😊🎉😊😊
People who fly all the way from Europe to only associate with other people from Europe lol they’re douchebags who want nothing to do with the locals and are narcissistic toxic people. This is obviously not everyone but I met a lot like this

Damn yea that must have been epic! Wouldn't call it a city tho haahah still island vibes :)
Good to see you got back with your girlfriend. You seem happier! Love always wins ❤
Thanks so much❤️🙏🏽 I really am!
LOVE LOVE LOVE that you always talk about places to watch sunrise/sunset.
Hahah thank you🥰🙏🏽

Thanks so much man!!🙏🏽 that is very true!
Wow getting so expensive in Bali! Was there a few years ago prices were 3 times less for everything then.
Mostly accommodation getting more expensive but for other things there's still the same cheap options as before!
Happy to see your gf back in your vids with u. 🙏❤️
So I’m in uluwatu now. How do you compare Lombok? To uluwatu? For surfing. Yoga party etc. Have you been?
So happy to see your gf back, she still looks cute LOL*

Just few minutes down to the beach from Klapa resort :)
International driving licence is supposed to have to drive in Bali but rarely police will stop to ask for it.
Great video! Thank you
Thanks!
What was the place you watched the sunset on the day beds just after you couldn’t get into Single Fin? Thanks 😊
It didn't have a name😄 but it's on the right under Single Fin!
Wow, $90 dollars a month is quite steep especially since they don’t have a ice dip and sauna included like in Changgu.
@@elsienorback7689 yeah exactly
Excellent and beautiful place!
It really is😍
Nice, u making me wanting to leave America and come here to live lol . Thanks 🙏
Hahaha awesome!🙏🏽
Nice vídeo as always. Weather is still good ?
Thank you! Yes it's been good lately, but never know when it's gonna change haha
Its so funny how much you care about sauna and ice bath :-)! i would not even want to get close to a sauna :-), when its so hot outside!
You really are missing out ;)
What’s the story of your gf reconciliation? Great vid!
Great vid!!
Thank you🙏🏽
BALI, INDONESIA 🇮🇩🇮🇩❤❤🙏🙏

Very Nice vídeo 👏👏👏👏👍👏

Can someone suggest less crowded beaches in south bali for relaxing and enjoying low waves??
Melasti Beach is my favorite for swimming & relaxing😊
Yeayy happy to see your video, are you going back together with your gf? Lil curious 😅

thank you very much brother
My pleasure🙏🏽
Why do you need souna in Bali :D Isn't it hot & wet enough as is??

For the first Trip to bali where would you recommend to stay? It seems Uluwatu and then travel around?
How long you staying?
2 Weeks or so. I am also digital nomad and thought about to build my base in cyprus because of taxes. Where do you have your residence?

Uluwatu was nice when it was just a place to surf.

The people who live there are arrogant and think they’re better than everyone else because they live in Bali
Who people?
@@JooseTheNomad the Europeans that live in Uluwatu
