Great update on what it’s like in beautiful Bali. I have been visiting the island for 35 years and count about 15 visits over the years. Seminyak and Canggu were dirt tracks and palm trees when I first visited in 1989. Can’t wait to get back again. Safe travels 👏❤️👏

Love Bali, returned to Auckland yesterday after short visit, Canggu is a nightmare with traffic be prepared even if you are on a bike, just a reality now.

It's my first time watching your channel! Awesome video! Question? I heard most places have cold pools. Any idea on how I can get a heated outdoor pool? They don't have a filter for it on any booking apps.
I have never found that. Maybe if the pool was in the shade?? But believe me you will appreciate a cold pool if there is such a thing due to the heat.
What is the best location to stay to cover seminyak and canggu? Advise please
Berawa is probably the best, easy access to both
My husband and I have no problem recognising Bluebird Taxis. At night they can be hard torecognise but we've got them sorted.

Just bought flights for my little girl & I to spend a week in Bali in July .. kinda nervous now that it’s going to be a hectic nightmare! Would love to find quieter, traditional (and affordable!) places to stay and eat.. could any kind soul suggest a basic itinerary for such?! Much appreciated.. 🙏🏼❤️

One good advice: if you find a resort you like.. WhatsApp them and you will get at least 20% less price
For a lot of places this can be true, even more so if you’re staying long term!
Filling out the customs declaration form online and its saying its 55USD? already paid the $50 for the visa and thought the customs declaration was free?
Nope it's definitely free! Hopefully you've found the right website, might be some dodgy sites out there

Yes the traffic is one of tourists complaining about Bali
But other then that Bali is good

When we were there it took us 2 hours to get from Legian to the airport. Luckily we always allow heaps of time. People on Bali Bogans have been saying getting through Immigration leaving is taking forever and people missing flights.
Canggu is ruined
I don't like Canggu. I preferred it when it was ricefields.

If you want to buy cheap food, then buy food from sellers who are not located in tourist attractions. but buy food from sellers located among local residential areas.

Sounds like a country not worth visiting at all considering there's plenty of other similar countries that do not hassle you with these nonsense like Indonesia does. For example; Thailand 🇹🇭
What nonsense exactly? We've spent lots of time in Thailand too, more actually.
We use to love Bali but it's changed since covid. Alot busier, expensive, scams and store holders more aggressive. Shame as it only use to take 4 hours to get there. We now prefer to go to Thailand or Europe. Maybe we have Just been there too many times and over it.
