OMG my narc husband does this constantly. He'll ask the kids "what's wrong" all the time. I noticed over the years whenever he's around the kids will start whining more or telling on each other. I finally had to tell him to stop asking the kids that because he's gonna make them believe something is wrong when there's nothing wrong. He's a full blown full blooded covert narc
Soon to be ex husband is in the Navy, here in Hawaii and he's a E7 and his bosses love him because of his image. He looks the part and does whatever they tell them. His peers can stand him but he checks the blocks. However, when he was home he wasn't consistent, he's a functional drunk, robotic, demonic smirk/smile, very direct but very weak at the same time. I felt bamboozled and started to notice we weren't making any progress as husband and wife. I've wasted 8 years of life with this person. Just make sure you look at the behaviors, not the words and not what you wanted to see. Pray and God will remove them out of your life.

He no longer gets anything emotional from me and the only contact is regarding the kids. I'm very much passed all of that. It's just crazy to see everything that the doctor has said start to come to fruition. However now that I am aware I can move accordingly.

Since I was about 16, it's been a competition with my N mom. She would criticize every life choice I made, so I was determined to do better. (win her approval) Unfortunately it just made her more jealous and mean. Never celebrated my successes, just made me doubt myself. Serious self-esteem issues. Married a N man just like her. He would slap me across the face just like her and everything. My dad came to my rescue and helped get out of the abusive marriage. But my dad and I were never strong enough to get away from the N mom. (Narcs are messed up, evil people) Dad went supernova on her and passed away a week after. I miss my dad.
I've learned to NEVER let my guard down around anyone. Its sad, but I've been conditioned to as a survival tactic. Because the moment you do let your guard down, the narc senses that and takes full advantage.
Parents also be aware if your attorney doesn’t effective advocate for you. I had a narc attorney that was trying to get me to be more lenient to my child’s father. It was like she was sabotaging me. She literally yelled at me and told me I would loose. She would try to talk to him she allowed him to miss court. It was the twilight zone. I was so desperate bc I had been drained from court I didn’t have the money for a new attorney. I documented everything. I got rid of her. If you find yourself with counsel that doesn’t understand or arent really for you get rid of them seek a new lawyer. Prayers for anyone that have children with a narc.
I am requesting a psychiatric evaluation before he sees the children. He is very anxious. I've ghosted him for weeks and I know he is going crazy. Karma is real.
Never say your opinion on him only facts and what he does to your child and you as well. Document everything. Evaluations are good. But regular people get anxiety that doesn’t mean anything unless it’s harmful. If he’s harming or placing your child in harms way report it to police and go straight to the court for emergency hearing. Stay CALM!!! You never want to look unhinged. Pray stay blessed & Good luck!

He got no job and he is kinda careless in case of money.... I've paid everything..... Kinda broke right now because of him but fuck it! Me and my 3 boys gonna make it anyways! I did prove them wrong and got bashed in the paperwork, recorded in history. I know they are coming after me. Everything Doc Bryant said! Truth, I'm terrified. We now live a whole day's drive away from each other. Two mountain ranges, and a ferry ride. I moved to an island with my child (legally). Really nice place. The other party is on the way here now to attend court. Enraged, yes they are. Just like the Doc said, a huge effort is being made, them acting the victim. "She victimized me." His sworn statement to the Court. He's applied to have me "sanctioned" for Parental Alienation. I live 3 minutes from the courthouse, them:14 hours. Lucky for me. He's driving here taking a whole day to get here, instead of flying over. Driving his wife, an infant and preschooler to put on a show in the courtroom. I have seen it before and it's sad, but funny in hindsight. I think he believes he will be handed the child to leave with. Why? Because once, the Court Ordered our child be returned to me "forthwith". I got to pick him up that day and leave with him, because his dad would not return him after a visit. Orchestrated fiasco. That's what police called it. Everything heard in this video is correct, in my situation. Wish me luck, or pray for me. I welcome all the help my tribe can offer.

As you said, I can care less about him I've moved on and he lost his mind. I had to get an order of protection. The order does not mean I will let my guard down. We have two young children and they are not included in the order. When we were in court because he refuted my order, he failed to understand he can co tact a third party but not me directly. I am in no hurry to schedule a visit with him. He was not a connected present father and I know he will manipulate them with his deceitful, childish actions.
So true! This is what motivated me to get my own act together. To build my business. To pay off my car and line my bank accts( and him having no access to). Because I was forever being blamed for his perpetual financial abuse and financial problems when I knew I wasnt. But Narcs need a good lie. A person to blame for all their problems. So good you are able to help others with your knowledge. I was involved with a narcissist for 6yrs he completely changed my life turned it upside down. I am so blessed as I have been strong enough to see through him, his lies, his deceit, his friends. I have not and will need help from Drs or therapy lucky for me I was given my Awakening, I believe to help me when I most needed help, I was/am totally blessed. Eventually I got the better of him as I knew exactly the game he was playing, I played it till I purposely set him up, knowing he would get arrested! Keep dates times photos, go to places with CT Cameras, I did all this until he eventually got arrested and ended up in jail. 3rd October 2019 he was sentenced for stalking me and putting trackers on my car. He is now in prison serving 2yrs. I don’t feel a winner, how could I as a part of my heart will always love the man I fell in love with. What I do know is that because of my spiritual belief it got me through hell and I am now going to continue being the strong lady that I know I am and he now knows too. My new chapter starts from today, I move forward and I will find my forever love so by the time he’s out of prison I would of completely moved on and changed my life without him......shame on me! 😊 I wish all of you going through narcissist abuse the best of luck, to stay strong and DO NOT let him see you weak! Hello Dr. Carmen, funny but I was on FB now grant it I have the NARC blocked on social media and in my contacts. I was going through the stories and there was a woman there that said I might know because we have mutual friends and to my surprise when I opened her page there was a huge picture of my ex and her. So we just broke up in May of this year. I tell you I do not even want to be involved in a relationship after 7 years with him and I am still healing from that roller coaster. He already is trying to get this woman to relocate from where she lives to move in with him. Now it just so happens that we have friends in common including her younger sister. How ironic. I don't think he will bother me anymore because I caught on to his masquerade and he doesn't like that I stood up to him. I feel bad for what this new supply will go through and yes she seems very vulnerable. Should I reach out and warn her?

The abuse started at 15 years old and I’m 34 now. My husband’s Brother has never had a serious girlfriend and he’s 34 years old. On his free time off work he’s flying home to spend time with his mother instead of trying to build a life with a girlfriend,wife or family. Very bizarre! His mother jokes about all the women he sleeps with from around the world because he’s a pilot 👨✈️ instead of encouraging him to build a family with a woman. Emotional incest is very real and the victim doesn’t even realize it because there hypnotized by the narcissist. He’s the golden child my husband is the scapegoat. My lawyer did not care about my situation, she carried only about money. People in the court was looking the same. They don't care about abuse! Good lawyer cost a lot. My mom is so effective she ruined my brothers life confused about who he was. She lied about who his father was and so on. He overdosed in hatred, resentments, and a broken spirit. She doesn't effect me anymore but she still has other family victims who think I'm being ignorant.
Ive completed turned my life around hit the gym hard got a ripped body, im working two jobs and finance has greatly increased too. Life without her has completely got better. I brought a van as I'm an electrician in both jobs I need a van but the railway it's essentially more useful and pays amazing money. She put me down and said i should have brought a car but when i said why when I needed a van then started slating me and telling me i havent changed. I asked what haven't i changed please explain but she then blocked me then unblocked me and been doing this every week plus insulting me for no reason. I haven't blocked her just ignored this behavior. They hate it when you strive for better and turn the negative into a positive. all they can do is act like a child. Ive apologized previously for things not working out and I've wished her all the best. Im in a good place now but they always try to drag you down. What i don't understand is why because normal people only want the best for the other person whether together or apart. What if your children are over the age 18..I no both of my children are trauma bonded to their attacker, and my flesh and blood children took his side over their own mother, I'm in counseling and therapy, but idk about my children I tried to get them in therapy, but they think they don't need it, om just so hurt over this..but he told me he would have my kids hating me before it's over, and he did! He won!

Since I was about 16, it's been a competition with my N mom. She would criticize every life choice I made, so I was determined to do better. (win her approval) Unfortunately it just made her more jealous and mean. Never celebrated my successes, just made me doubt myself. Serious self-esteem issues. Married a N man just like her. He would slap me across the face just like her and everything. My dad came to my rescue and helped get out of the abusive marriage. But my dad and I were never strong enough to get away from the N mom. (Narcs are messed up, evil people) Dad went supernova on her and passed away a week after. I miss my dad.

She literally yelled at me and told me I would loose. She would try to talk to him she allowed him to miss court. It was the twilight zone. I was so desperate bc I had been drained from court I didn’t have the money for a new attorney. I documented everything. I got rid of her. If you find yourself with counsel that doesn’t understand or arent really for you get rid of them seek a new lawyer. Prayers for anyone that have children with a narc.

I am requesting a psychiatric evaluation before he sees the children. He is very anxious. I've ghosted him for weeks and I know he is going crazy. Karma is real.
Never say your opinion on him only facts and what he does to your child and you as well. Document everything. Evaluations are good. But regular people get anxiety that doesn’t mean anything unless it’s harmful. If he’s harming or placing your child in harms way report it to police and go straight to the court for emergency hearing. Stay CALM!!! You never want to look unhinged. Pray stay blessed & Good luck!

He's driving here taking a whole day to get here, instead of flying over. Driving his wife, an infant and preschooler to put on a show in the courtroom. I have seen it before and it's sad, but funny in hindsight. I think he believes he will be handed the child to leave with. Why? Because once, the Court Ordered our child be returned to me "forthwith". I got to pick him up that day and leave with him, because his dad would not return him after a visit. Orchestrated fiasco. That's what police called it.

As you said, I can care less about him I've moved on and he lost his mind. I had to get an order of protection. The order does not mean I will let my guard down. We have two young children and they are not included in the order. When we were in court because he refuted my order, he failed to understand he can co tact a third party but not me directly. I am in no hurry to schedule a visit with him. He was not a connected present father and I know he will manipulate them with his deceitful, childish actions.

So true! This is what motivated me to get my own act together. To build my business. To pay off my car and line my bank accts( and him having no access to). Because I was forever being blamed for his perpetual financial abuse and financial problems when I knew I wasnt. But Narcs need a good lie. A person to blame for all their problems. I was involved with a narcissist for 6yrs he completely changed my life turned it upside down.
I am so blessed as I have been strong enough to see through him, his lies, his deceit, his friends.
I have not and will need help from Drs or therapy lucky for me I was given my Awakening, I believe to help me when I most needed help, I was/am totally blessed. Eventually I got the better of him as I knew exactly the game he was playing, I played it till I purposely set him up, knowing he would get arrested! Keep dates times photos, go to places with CT Cameras, I did all this until he eventually got arrested and ended up in jail. 3rd October 2019 he was sentenced for stalking me and putting trackers on my car. He is now in prison serving 2yrs.
I don’t feel a winner, how could I as a part of my heart will always love the man I fell in love with. What I do know is that because of my spiritual belief it got me through hell and I am now going to continue being the strong lady that I know I am and he now knows too.
My new chapter starts from today, I move forward and I will find my forever love so by the time he’s out of prison I would of completely moved on and changed my life without him......shame on me! 😊

I put up with it because it’s all I have ever known. I have been NC for 5 yrs and my life has never been more difficult. I worked out side of the home but my career was wife and mother. Now I’m old, live alone, children moved away and a X that got a do-over with a pretty new wife and a new child. Friends are gone. Family gone. Life savings gone. I’m now waiting for Jesus. I trust God. Human kind not so much.

Hello Dr. Carmen, funny but I was on FB now grant it I have the NARC blocked on social media and in my contacts. I was going through the stories and there was a woman there that said I might know because we have mutual friends and to my surprise when I opened her page there was a huge picture of my ex and her. So we just broke up in May of this year. I tell you I do not even want to be involved in a relationship after 7 years with him and I am still healing from that roller coaster. He already is trying to get this woman to relocate from where she lives to move in with him. Now it just so happens that we have friends in common including her younger sister. How ironic. I don't think he will bother me anymore because I caught on to his masquerade and he doesn't like that I stood up to him. I feel bad for what this new supply will go through and yes she seems very vulnerable. Should I reach out and warn her?

The abuse started at 15 years old and I’m 34 now. My husband’s Brother has never had a serious girlfriend and he’s 34 years old. On his free time off work he’s flying home to spend time with his mother instead of trying to build a life with a girlfriend,wife or family. Very bizarre! His mother jokes about all the women he sleeps with from around the world because he’s a pilot 👨✈️ instead of encouraging him to build a family with a woman. Emotional incest is very real and the victim doesn’t even realize it because there hypnotized by the narcissist. He’s the golden child my husband is the scapegoat. They never stop abusing,trust me I’m living proof! You’re looking skinny and stunning. Go girl!

My mom is so effective she ruined my brothers life confused about who he was. She lied about who his father was and so on. He overdosed in hatred, resentments, and a broken spirit.

Ive completed turned my life around hit the gym hard got a ripped body, im working two jobs and finance has greatly increased too. Life without her has completely got better. I brought a van as I'm an electrician in both jobs I need a van but the railway it's essentially more useful and pays amazing money. She put me down and said i should have brought a car but when i said why when I needed a van then started slating me and telling me i havent changed. I asked what haven't i changed please explain but she then blocked me then unblocked me and been doing this every week plus insulting me for no reason. I haven't blocked her just ignored this behavior. They hate it when you strive for better and turn the negative into a positive. all they can do is act like a child. Ive apologized previously for things not working out and I've wished her all the best. Im in a good place now but they always try to drag you down. What i don't understand is why because normal people only want the best for the other person whether together or apart. I don't hold grudges but i don't understand why people like these try to abuse others for no reason. Thank you for all your videos there amazing ❤

What if your children are over the age 18..I no both of my children are trauma bonded to their attacker, and my flesh and blood children took his side over their own mother, I'm in counseling and therapy, but idk about my children I tried to get them in therapy, but they think they don't need it, om just so hurt over this..but he told me he would have my kids hating me before it's over, and he did!
