The free quick lease option was why I went for this wheel over the McLaren. There are also more functionalities on this wheel over the McLaren and the full 8NM can be felt when I upgrade to the boost kit in a few weeks. Just waiting on my pocket to recover from the GT DD Pro purchase
Yeah it was partially the reason I went for this wheel too. Nice to hear you’ve got a GT DD, you can definitely feel the ffb better with an open wheel rim
Having the hardest time deciding whether to pick this up or go with the CS F1 Esport V2. The Formula V2.5 is just so freaking gorgeous though and I love that you get the leather grips.
@@SN13K3R Is this wheel good on other types of racing? For example GT or street race cars? Not really interested in drifting. I might also go for rally but the main 3 racing types will be GT - F1 - street race cars your feedback would be very helpful before purchase. Thx
Well of course this wheel is mostly made for open wheel racing, I personally also prefer to use this wheel with GT3 rather than a round rim, for things like road cars or rally cars I definitely prefer a round wheel, and for drifting a round wheel is a must really, that would be very difficult with a formula rim. If I had to choose one I’d choose the formula wheel but that’s because I mostly drive F1 & GT3
@@lawshadow1581 I'm just going to chime in to say I went with the Formula V2.5 and absolutely love it. 0 regrets getting this over the esport. Tbh a year or 2 down the road I would have probably upgraded the esport to v2.5 so I figured I might as well bite the bullet now.
Honestly, i think the V2.5X looks much better, wich is why i got it. Also i drive w/o gloves and like the touch of Alcantara much better than leather. Alcantara wears off without proper maintenance, but Colorlock offers some outstanding (but pricey) Alcantara care products. I use these regulary and after 300+hrs of driving w/o gloves, my Alcantara grips still look and feel like new. Besides that, Pineapple grips offers aftermarket grips for the Fanatec formula wheels and you can choose between Alcantara, leather and faux leather as well as from a wide variety of colors. Instead of buying new grips, Pineapple also offers a service of sending in your original Fanatec grips and upholster them with a new Alcantara/leather/faux leather cover. Oh and btw, there are only 4 screws to attach the QR1. The two on the side are fixation bolts and not screwholes. These got no thread inside. ;)

Hi I bought this wheel with my CSL dd. It works with the ps but I can’t get F1 2021 to recognise it. Does anyone know what I need to do to make it work?
@@SandroDoulis when he was saying that he was already thinking fuck i have a fanatec csl 550€ with a f1 wheel 350€ and still have to battle with a fast germany guy on a logitech🔥
@@SN13K3R If you're unlucky it can yes, most stuff with multiple screw holes, you need to go from to top left, bottom right, top right bottom left, back to top left, back to bottom right etc. etc. etc. Just tighten each screw little by little, you can risk bending stuff or unaligning other screws. So to be safe, just go from corner to the opposite corner and then the other corners to the last corner, and do the same thing again and again until they're all tightened.
Is it possible to remove those three toggle switches at the bottom? I need to remove them in order to fit a sticker and after that I’ll put them back on. Need help🥲

Haha yeah personally I prefer the look of the V2.5 but they’re probably similar in quality, so you can’t really go wrong with either of them :)

It does work on PC but not on Xbox, you’d have to get the Formula V2.5 X for that

@@PaladinWombel As far as I know it’s not possible to remove them and put them back on, you can only remove the flat buttons on the face of the wheel
@@SN13K3R I just figured it out. They are removable but I needed a bit more strength and a small piece to get underneath.
